It is very beautiful and very amazing, Aelin feels like being in a fairy tale. A pair of burly hands suddenly hugged Aelin from behind. To make Aelin surprised not a bitch.
"Do you like my surprises?" davin whispered right in Aelin's ear, occasionally with mischievous Davin biting Aelin's auricle.
Aelin's body bristled away instantly, but she was delighted by the surprise prepared by Davin.
"Romantic dinner" said Aelin with a smile.

Davin's face immediately became a little tense, as Aelin's tiny lips raised a question that made her blood feel frozen.
His tongue felt mute, he forgot if he left Aelin just like that and went home to see Syaila. How could he do that. He did not even remember until this moment.
"Java!" aelin's jolt forced a little.
Davin controls the mimicry of his face, turning his brain to find the right answer.
"A--I, A-I accidentally left you, because there is business with mom," Davin replied in stammering. He hopes Aelin believes in the reasons he gave.

Davin rubbed his nape, looking as though his forehead was furrowing deeply as if thinking of something.
"Yes, my mother's health suddenly declined. Darren called me, I was so panicked that I left you. But believe me, I didn't mean to leave you. Maybe it was because I was worried so I just left" Davin assured Aelin.
Aelin stared fixedly at Davin, he wanted to believe what Davin said. But what Davin said was not true.
Mrs Tissa has always been at home, impossible if Maya doesn't know about her declining in-laws' condition. Not even the whole servant talked about it. Well, even though Aelin knows that Madame Tissa is not home right now. But still, everything feels awkward.

Davin pulled the chair and pressed Aelin's shoulder to sit down. Aelin just silently received Davin's treatment so sweet. But, in his current mind the same question still made him suspicious if Davin did have another woman.
Just thinking about it, made Aelin's heart feel shattered into pieces. Should he experience something so painful?
Without Aelin realizing and wanting, her tears just shed. It made Davin a little anxious and worried.
"Ae, why are you crying? You don't have to be moved to cry like that." chuckled Davin while wiping Aelin's tears.
"I don't cry because I'm moved. I'm crying because you lied to me."

Davin's body feels planted on the spot. The nervousness and fear hit him fiercely. Cold sweat began to form on the temples of his face.
Does Aelin know the truth? Aelin said she was lying.
"Your answer is not at all the same as Maya's. Maya says that if you go home for taking care of your business that almost got dropped by your enemy. He heard that. But, you said if you came home because of my mother's declining health. Why are you lying to me?" aelin's jolt immediately stood up from her seat.
