Darren was sitting in the tv room while his gaze focused on the square screen in front of him.

His face looked puffy, where tears just fell from the corner of his eyes.

Darren stuffed the popcorn into his mouth and chewed on the snack with tears.

Darren immediately grabbed his phone which continued to vibrate nonstop. And he could have guessed, if the intruder in his life is none other than Davin.

"Ck, this guy was always interrupting my break. For a second, he couldn't help but bother me?" grumbled Darren while exhaling his coarse breath.

"Hallo, what's wrong?" ketus Darren's.

"I want you to hire the best chef in town, and ask him to make a pizza with a gold topping,"

"Huh?" Darren jumped straight off the couch, hearing Davin's very strange command.

"You didn't mishear, Aelin wanted the food and I want you to bring the food with you as soon as possible. If not, your head will be displayed as a decoration of my house," Davin threatened with a firm sentence.

"You think I'm a witch who can grant your wish so soon? What kind of food is that?"

"I don't want to know, I'm waiting for you. In an hour you have to get to my house with the food," Davin said absolutely, then disconnected the phone.

Davin brought his face closer to Aelin with a probing look. That made Aelin wrong.

Davin rubbed the corner of Aelin's lips against the pizza sauce with her thumb. Then sip it with pleasure.

Aelin let out a long sigh, it turned out that Davin only wanted to clear his lips. He thinks Davin is suspicious. The point is Davin shouldn't know until the man's birthday.
