Aelin entered the door of the usual cafe that became his subscription. He smiled without enthusiasm when he saw the person he was going to meet was already sitting sweetly in the corner of the cafe, while enjoying a warm drink.

After returning home from Davin's office, he felt very claustrophobic and suspicious. Something was stirring in his heart. However, he was afraid to express what he was thinking. When the mind is confused and dead-end, he only remembers the friend. The only woman who became a place of sighing and who always understood his mental condition and heart.

"Sorry, I'm late, Li!" aelin exclaimed, then sat down in front of Lia.

"No papa, I also just came 5 minutes ago. You're okay, right?" Lia looked at the friend from head to toe with a worried scan. Especially when looking at Aelin's face that is getting pale and slightly tangled. If he describes it, his beautiful best friend is very similar to a walking vampire.

"I really don't understand, Li. Today I saw Davin cuddling with Livia."

"Huh?" Lia's mouth was perfectly rounded. He was very surprised to hear Aelin's words.

"They said it was just a mistake. Livia said that it was a normal hug that was done by a brother, let alone it was Davin--"

"Keep Davin said what?" Lia cut Aelin's speech quickly. Where his facial expression looked very serious. Not once, his eyes flickered and sidetracked from the friend.

"Davin thought, it was me. So, she called Livia with a call dear." Aelin finished her short story with her head bowed deeply. He wanted to believe all the reasons given by the two men. However, whatever the power of his heart and mind kept contradicting and said everything he saw was not that simple.

Lia's serious face turned sour with vexation. His lips smiled obliquely with both hands folded in front of his chest. Of course, he will not be fooled if he is in the position of Aelin, an innocent girl who knows nothing about the world of romance that has a painful side. Not getting a response, Aelin raised her face staring at Lia who looked annoyed.

"Why, how quiet?" aelin asked in a hesitant tone.

"What do you now think is 100% true Ae" Lia replied with a breath of excitement.

"You mean?"

"Fix, your husband cheated on you."

"Don't just talk, Li!" ailen jolted furiously, even to the point of standing up from her seat.

"I didn't talk. A wife's instincts will never go wrong. The man who cheats always has a trick and a thousand reasons to make you sure that you are the only woman in his life. I'm sure, lately Davin's been romantic with you, right?"

Aelin was silent a thousand languages, where the beautiful shadow with such a romantic moment that he passed with Davin revolved back. What Lia said was true. Lately Davin is very romantic despite sometimes looking depressed. Like my husband is hiding something.

No way, Davin would never have hurt me that badly. He loves me so much. Inner Aelin with tears that seep through the defense without being desired. Aelin's body collapsed back in the chair with her chest so tight. Imagining that Davin was having an affair made the entire muscle in his body feel melted so that it could not support his body weight.

Lia stared at the old friend who was devastated just by hearing the allegations. The truth is always bitter and painful. However, he was not that stupid as to not be able to guess what was going on. Aelin's suffering was very much though so he hoped that what he said earlier was wrong. He grabbed Aelin's two hands, grasping them tightly. Channeling warm to give strength if Aelin is not alone.

"Hiks ... that's impossible, hiks ...," Aelin's cries tightened.

"I can't imagine that, hiks ...," said Aelin stammering with the pain in her heart that was so stifling. He felt his chest was being crushed by a huge explosion that made everything melt.

"Stop crying, Ae. This is still a guess not real. Relax, you should not be stressed because it will affect your content. I don't want my niece to get why. You just need to find out if Davin is really cheating or not because it can take your doubts off and make things work. When you get there, Davin is wishing you. I'll drag that guy out of your life myself, Ae." Lia's tears went freefall, seeing Aelin's sadness. His friend looked very sick and suffered. He did not want anything painful to happen to Aelin. He just wants his best friend's life to be happy. He swore that until Davin had an affair he would make the man regretted hurting his best friend. His two clenched hands clenched very tightly, depicting a burning fury in the chest.

Aelin took a deep breath, scooping up as much oxygen as possible to get into her two lungs. What Lia said was true. He should not be weak just because of a guess. He touched his flat stomach, where life was growing. She should not be too frustrated to endanger her baby. Aelin wiped away the remaining tears on her face. Trying to stay strong even when it is broken.

"You're right, Li. I cannot be weak and fragile. There are lives I must take care of. You know, I don't understand about this. How am I supposed to find out if Davin's lying or not? Did I ask this to Davin?" ask Aelin

"Of course not, Ae. Davin won't confess." Lia gave an answer.

"Then what should I do?"

"Near your enemy, and keep an eye on him. Every move and every move you have to know. I'm sure, covered carcasses will always give off a foul smell."

"You mean, should I get close to Livia?"

"Of course, make friends with your enemies because that is the best strategy to uncover the truth."
