BERHALA ISLAND

BERHALA ISLAND
EPISODE 25: FAILED ATTEMPTS

A bewildered Podin runs out of money, a restless Podin whose treasure is already drained, so he again wanted to come to the island where an old man lived who was generous to him, who always gave him treasures. Yes, the only path that most could be expected to be taken by Podin is to come back to the Island of Idols, to retrieve the treasure chests from the magnificent palace that are gilded, and decorated with diamond gems.

That afternoon, Podin drove his car to the beach to return to visit the island where he had once obtained a priceless treasure. He went to the beach where he would go to Pulau Berhala. The island that has given him wealth.

This time, Podin brought a car. Of course the goal later, Podin wants to bring as much treasure as possible. Podin wanted to take the treasure chests, and would fill the car with all the treasure on the island.

Podin also drove his car by speeding, continuing south. Heading to the beach where he would cross to the treasure island. The island without inhabitants, which by the people around it call it as Pulau Berhala. Yes, the island is feared by the people around it, because many strange events are scary. He said the island was a place where idols would prey on anyone who approached or entered the island.

But for Podin, who already felt the pleasure of obtaining wealth from the island, never believed in the words of the villagers. Podin never mengubris with what is conveyed by the community, if according to the people around the island he said a lot of ghost haunting, many ghosts are not good, he said, many idols inhabit the island. But for Podin, the stories told by the community, the words of people who do not know the true contents of the island, are just stories to scare. Maybe there are people who have taken a lot of treasure from that place, so that no one else enters the island, then he made up a scary story. He makes a scary book. The goal is that people do not get close to the island. He even gave the name of Pulau Berhala to sound creepy.

Podin prefers the people there to be scared. Because to him the treasure no one dared to take it. Hence, this time he was already preparing to bring home as many treasures as possible. And of course, Podin also came to the place with a car that is expected later the car will be filled with treasures. Even Podin had also prepared a large rope, which he would later use to tie the treasure chests, as well, to scoop up all the treasure chests that are in the palace on the Island of Idols. Yes, Podin already intends to drag as much as possible the treasure chest.

That afternoon, Podin arrived at the beach. Yes, he's going to Pulau Berhala. Usually, if he wants to go to the island of Berhala, certainly have to wait for the arrival of the person who brought the boat, who will deliver himself to the island. No surrounding communities dare to bring a boat closer to the island of Berhala. Everyone was afraid of the curse of the idols who inhabited the island. Usually, the boatman who picks him up will come when the sun wants to sink. But that afternoon, when Podin had just arrived at the beach, suddenly there was a boatman who came to approach Podin. Podin who had just arrived, was greeted by a boatman who was ready to take him to the island of Berhala. Of course, Podin was a bit surprised, why so quickly the boatman came? Why not wait until the sun sets? In fact, the boat was already approaching to Podin who was standing on the beach.

"You're going to the island, sir ...?" asked the boatman who was the same as the previous boatmen, he wore a long robe to cover his legs, and wore a large crop caping that covered his face.

"Yes, right .." Podin replied to the boatman.

Furthermore, when the boat was approaching to where it was built, Podin immediately climbed into the boat. Podin went straight into the boat that had been prepared by the person who picked him up. But as usual, the strange thing that was seen by Podin was that the man of the boatman, who wore a long robe down to his neck, then he covered his head with a caping of his wide coffin, well this time, the atmosphere is still in the position of daylight, still in a state of light, finally Podin tried to observe, and finally, he was trying to observe, what was the face of the boatman? Did he hide his head so that others could not see him? Was that person deliberately covering his face in shame maybe there was a flaw? Why does his face not want to be seen by others, including people who come to the island and use the services of the boat on it?

However, how shocked he was when Pudin witnessed what he saw. Apparently, the boatman really did not have a head. The person only has a body from the legs to the neck.

Podin. Podin fear. Podin's body trembled so scared. Is this really a ghost? Is this really an idol? Is this really as told by the villagers who had met him? I want Podin to run away from that guy. But what can be said, Podin has already entered the boat, and Podin has already been delivered to the Island of Berhala. Even Podin was already in the middle of the sea. Surely Podin was confused. To return to the land, he had already reached the middle. To proceed to the island, there was a fear that haunted him.

As the word says, already wet then it must be continued all. Podin resigned to what would happen later. Podin. He did not want to look at the man who ran the boat anymore. He did not want to see the man who pushed the pole to run the boat. Yes, Podin lowered his face, lowered his face for fear of seeing the person who did not have the head.

Finally, Podin was calm again, when the boat he was riding was docked to the edge of the island. Then Podin stood up and set his foot on the ground, to enter the island.

However, it was only a moment when his feet stepped, suddenly Podin was shocked by a round object that rolled forward. Of course Podin was frightened, because the round object as big as a coconut was a human head whose eyes were wide open and his mouth grimaced eerie.

Podin wanted to get back to the boat, wanted to go home, not want to continue his journey to the middle of the island. But when he turned to the direction of the boat had stopped, the boatman who had delivered it turned out to have disappeared. The boatman and his boat were no longer there. Pupus wants Podin back. Inevitably, Podin still had to be on the island of Berhala, until the arrival of the boatman. Then Podin will again continue his journey to the palace. Moreover, Maya's face again looms in front of him, a beautiful woman who has become his second wife, asking to buy a car. Podin must be able to bring treasure to buy Maya a car. So Podin continued to move on with his goal.

What can be said, Podin has returned to his feet. Suddenly a voice called out to him, a voice of people asking for help, which seemed to him very familiar with the voice.

"Rpa .... Mr .... Please, Mr .... Mr. .., please, Mr. ..." the sound poked Podin's ear. Yes, Podin is very memorized by that sound. Hence, he immediately turned his head to the right, to the left, even looking back looking for the origin of the sound.

"Rpa .... Please, Mr. ..." the voice was heard again.

And after Podin looked down, close to his feet, he realized, he knew under his feet, he almost stepped on a human head. Yes, this time Podin really saw that the one near his leg, which he almost stepped on, was a human head yes he did not pangling. Podin did not forget the face of that head. Well, that head under his feet is the head of Eko. Yeah, that's Eko's head, right, it's really a head whose face is the face of her first child. The face of Eko, who was hit by a truck and his head was missing. Apparently, now, Podin saw his son's head was on the island of Berhala.

Podin squatted down. Podin immediately nodded. Both of Podin's hands held the head.

"Geez, Eko .... Are you really Eko ...? Are you really my son ...? Is it true that you are Eko my son who was hit by a truck in front of the school ...?" podin said as he lamented his son, looking at the disembodied head. Podin shed tears, because it was so sad to see the fate of his tragic son.

The head held by Podin, really he looked at, he observed carefully. Indeed what he saw was really the head of his son who was hit by a truck.

"Yes, Sir .... I'm your son, sir .... Help me, Mr .... Eko is not at home here, sir .... Eko tortured, kicked people, sir .... I am often trampled, Sir .... Pain, Sir .... Please Eko, Mr. ..." wretched words from his son. Podin wept lamenting his son's tale of grief, lamenting as Eko was run over by a truck and died headless, lamenting when his son's head was not found, and also lamented when the grave of his son was dismantled and it turned out that the body of his son was also not in the coffin. Even now it turns out that the head of Eko was actually taken by the devil's truck, to the Island of Berhala.

Podin was limp all over his body. It turns out that the head of his son who was lost during the accident has been used as a collision to take the treasure on the island of Berhala. Yes, Eko, his first son had been asked by the ruler of Pulau Berhala, used as a tumbala to get wealth.

Then Podin took the head of his son, who was in front of him. Podin looked at Eko's clear face, he saw in Eko's eyes tears of blood, and he saw Eko's truly pitiful face. His son was tortured, as if always whipped, thrown more and more yesterday, maybe even opposed by everyone who stepped on him. Eko now had his face full of wounds, already full of wounds, already full of bruises. It must have hurt a lot.

Podin began to hesitate, going to continue his journey to the center of the island to re-enter the palace, or stop and return to the mainland to bring his son's head home. But again, the doubts of Podin again shaken by the face of Maya, his young wife who asked to buy a car. Of course, Podin must continue his journey, to find the treasure in the palace.

Podin stepped back to enter the island. Podin will return to the palace. Intentions that have become determined, Podin will take the treasure stored in the palace, which is in the middle of the island. Podin wanted to bring home the vast amount of treasure.

Then, Podin stepped regardless of the surrounding, regardless of his surroundings, regardless of his right and left. His eyes were fixed to the middle of the island, passing on the path that did look smooth. But if he wants to glance, if he witnesses, even if his ears want to listen, from his left right many words are thrown from the heads that are stuck on the bamboo, which was then erected as a fence to decorate the road. They said on a shout reminiscent of Podin who stepped into the center of the island.

"Don't .... No .... Don't go to that place .... Don't go to the palace .... Don't go into that palace .... Have mercy on your family .... Have mercy on your children .... Kasiani .... He will be the victim .... They will later be tortured by the executioners on the island of Berhala .... Later your family will be used as a sacrifice to the idols on this island. Go home immediately .... Run from this place .... Do not enter this island again ..." so the voices were heard from all directions. Surely it is a warning for Podin and everyone who will go to the Island of Idols to take the treasures in the Palace of Idols.

Yes, it should be, the disembodied heads stuck on the bamboos, which were made into ornamental fences along the road to the palace, were the victims of savages, he said, victims of greedy people, victims of people who always ask for treasures from idols. They are the sacrifices sacrificed by those who ask for wealth without wanting to work.

Podin who was desperate to get the treasure, he paid no heed to the words spoken by the disembodied heads lined up on the left right of the road. Podin no doubt stepped foot into the center of the island, heading to the palace, to retrieve his treasure. What Podin thought about was how to get a lot of treasure. Yes Putin's mind can no longer judge good and right, bad and evil. All he knew was one, which was to obtain a treasure.

Podin's feet finally stepped up to reach the center of the island, where Podin had witnessed the existence of a magnificent palace. Yes, the palace where there is treasure. Podin arrived at the palace. Podin arrived in front of the palace that at night the palace was glowing. The light is bright.

However, Podin was again surprised. It turned out that the palace he witnessed looked majestic and glittering at night that, the palace that was awakened from the golden jewel, now, in the daytime, was, it turned out that the palace was just a building made from a pile of human bodies. Yes, it was a pile of headless bodies laid out as if the headless bodies were made into bricks to build a palace. It was all just a pile of corpses without heads.

Podin was shocked. Podin fear. Body shaking. But again, his intention to buy a car for Maya, his young wife who had been considered giving excessive affection, Podin still stepped foot. Podin tried to break into the hole he considered to be a door, which to his left right was a pile of headless human bodies. And as Podin was about to enter, the hands on the body began to wave, began to move, began to block the way. It was as if the door was blocked by moving hands, hands that seemed not to allow the door to pass. The hands of a headless human body, like a headless undead.

Actually when he saw the headless body, Podin remembered with his son whose body when buried lost his head. And when his grave was dismantled, the body of his son was not in the grave. Lost from the coffin. And while in front of the pile of headless bodies, Podin saw a small child wearing red and white clothes.

"The little one wearing that red and white clothes must be Eko." so said Podin in his little heart.

It is true, that the small body dressed in red and white clothes was Eko, who when buried was directly transported by the hollows of the palace to be taken to the Island of Berhala. Quickly when it was dismantled, the coffin used to bury it was already empty. Eko's body disappeared from the coffin. Apparently his son's body had moved to the island of Berhala.

However, Podin may have thought that these were the actions of the devil who disturbed him to prevent him from being able to take the treasure in the palace. Podin forced himself back into the hole that had been blocked by the hands of a headless body stacked there. Podin barged in, until he was hit by blood dripping from the body that was cut off his head. Podin finally entered the room.

Podin had memorized the room. He immediately stepped into the middle. Of course I'll take the treasure chests. But suddenly, the voice that he had been used to, again sounded.

"Huahahaha ....!!! Hey greedy man ...! Before taking the crate, wash your hands in the wash ...!" the voice told Podin to wash his hands first.

As has been done, Podin will wash his hands on a basin filled with water with flowers. He rushed to that place. Then Podin's hand was put into a basin containing the water. And what a shock to Podin, when his hand went into a basin filled with water with the flowers. Suddenly, from the basin came the heads of the little children. The heads that gouged out of the flower water were the heads of her children.

"Mr .., this is me, Mr .... Dewi, the son of the Father .." said his greatest daughter, who appeared to her head in the basin.

"Father .., this is me Asri, sir .... I was a child, Mr. .." said his second daughter, whose head was in the middle.

"Mr ..... Antok wants to flap, Mr ...?" said his smallest son, whose head was also nongol in the basin.

Podin who was shocked when he saw the heads of his small children, he became hesitant. Podin removed his hand from the basin. Podin thought, lest his children who were in the basin, will later fate as his brother. They will be made into a collision on this Pulau Berhala.

However, Podin's heart is blinded by his need to buy a car for his young wife, Maya. So Podin told the three heads of his children who were in the basin, "I have no business with you ...! I want to buy a car for my new wife Mr ...! I'll buy Maya a car, which is now a wife who loves you. Your mother doesn't love you" Podin told the three children.

Suddenly, the head disappeared. Plong of the heart of Podin. Then Podin who had dipped his hand into the basin filled with flower water, immediately rushed to the place of the treasure chests. Then he took out a rope, to tie up some of the treasure chests. And quickly, Podin can tie three treasure chests. So Podin dragged him out of the idol palace. Podin managed to drag three treasure chests out of the room.

Baby though. The coffins chosen by Podin were enormous treasure chests. Must be heavy. Podin also seemed to mind dragging the three crates. In fact, as he passed by the exit, it turned out that from the pile of headless bodies, there were several bodies that accidentally fell, to prevent Podin from carrying the chest out. Even some bodies were on top of those treasure chests. Of course, it also adds to the weight of the goods he dragged.

Eventually, Podin had to reduce the crate he was dragging. He took off a box. There are two boxes that he has pulled. It feels a little light. The podin can drag quickly. Until he was able to reach the beach of Pulau Berhala.

And where he had come down earlier, there was a boatman waiting for him.

"Sorry, Mr .... The crate can't get into this boat .... Too big and heavy. The boat didn't fit" said the boatman.

Podin. He's disappointed. I was in vain trying to bring the box. The boatman couldn't take him. Sure, Podin's pissed. He must go home empty-handed. Without bringing treasure.
