Chapter 69 - Daddy Jo

The atmosphere was gripping, especially when looking at Jonathan's gaze, making Airyn feel intimidated. Juna also felt that way, but because he was a man, so he tried to normalize his facial expression so as not to look scared.

"Sorry, Mr and Mrs. I was so presumptuous to bravely establish a relationship with Airyn." Arjuna.

"Why should I apologize? You love my daughter? Do you also love this young man, Airyn?" Jonathan asked with a sharp look. 

"Yes, Airyn loves Juna." Airyn answered firmly. Juna looked at Airyn's face which did not imply the slightest hesitation. He seemed very confident in the answer he gave. 

"You? Love Airyn too?" Jonathan asked Juna. Airyn looked at Juna, hoping that Juna's answer would be the same as her. But, from the beginning he was the one who had fallen in love with the young man first. 

Juna grabbed Airyn's hand and clasped it, making the woman shocked. 

"Of course, I love Airyn very much, sir." Juna replied no less firmly, making Airyn gaping. But, a second later he smiled full of happiness. That is, her love does not clap one hand. There's no way it feels if Juna doesn't love her, right? Especially after Airyn gave her laughter to Juna. 

"So, when are you getting married?" Ask Monica. 

"H-aahh?" Airyn and Juna asked simultaneously, her second expression looking extremely shocked. Unlike Jonathan and Monica who look to smile at them.

Currently, the four of them are in a private cafe which was ordered by Jonathan, specifically to discuss this issue with Juna and Airyn. They feel like it is time. Moreover, Jonathan feels that the relationship between Airyn and Juna has been established for quite a long time. So there's no problem if he asks the young man's readiness to go to a more serious level right?

"No need to be surprised, you think Daddy just hands off when you leave the house? No, hon. Daddy always sees you, just from a distance." Jonathan said with a smile. 

"Dad's.."

"Don't worry, honey. Daddy bless your relationship, Daddy knows you love each other." Jonathan's words made Airyn and Juna surprised by the man's words.

"But Dad.."

"Why? What's the reason you're not ready to meet Juna with us is because Juna works at the cafe as a waiters?" Ask Jonathan. Speechless, even to the extent that Airyn's head was just that the middle-aged man knew her.

"You think that way about us, honey?" Monica asked her daughter.

"It's not like that, Mommy. But.."

"We don't care if you want to be in a relationship with anyone, because we believe you have your own choice. It's just, we were a little bit in shock when we found out you had a flocked boyfriend." Monica replied while chuckling.

"Where did you meet?" Ask Jonathan. 

"At the cafe where I work, Airyn happens to meet there and eat. I serve him, Sir. Then, the next day I also met Airyn at the restaurant you went to that day."

"Wait, cafe and restaurant? You mean, you work in two places at once?" Ask Jonathan again. Juna smiled slightly then nodded his head. 

"Yes, Sir."

"What's your excuse, hmm? Working in two places at once, it's very tiring isn't it?" Ask the middle-aged man. 

"The reason is simple, sir. I have dependents, my mother and sister in the village." Juna replied with a small smile.

"You're the backbone of your family? Where's your dad, Jun? You're so young."

"Dad's been gone a long time, sir. He's back to the owner of the life." Juna's reply made Jonathan look at the young man with nanar. Independent and hardworking young man, what is this that makes his daughter fall in love with Arjuna figure?

"June.."

"Yes, Sir.."

"Don't call me that, call Papa, dad or Daddy like Airyn. Now, you're my son-in-law's candidate." Jonathan's reply made Juna stunned. Prospective son-in-law? God, is he dreaming?

"Sir.."

"Hmm, teach him to call me Daddy like you, Ai." 

"Good, Dad." Airyn answered with a smile. A smile that looked very sincere, only this time he saw his daughter smiling this sincerely. Really, he was sure there was a reason behind all this. However, whatever it is, it must be a good reason and there must be Juna's name behind that smile. 

"This smile will never go away if I'm with Juna, Dad. Airyn is happy with Juna." Airyn answered, making Jonathan smile knot. Again, the guess is correct. There was Juna's name behind that sweet smile.

"Tomorrow, take Juna to the company." Jonathan's orders. 

"Well, Dad?"

"Tell him to work for the company, he'll replace you in the company. Later, if you are married, you will be a housewife who will always be at home every day. Taking care of your child and serving your husband, that's a woman's nature. So it's Juna who's gonna take your place in the company, baby."

"But, Master.."

"Daddy, call me Daddy, Jun!" Resolutely Jonathan, because Juna just kept calling her with the call of Master and he did not like it. She wants, Juna calls her Daddy like Airyn.

"Good, Daddy.."

"Sounds better." Jonathan.

"So tomorrow, you go to the company with Airyn. Learn slowly, Daddy's sure you'll be able to handle the company."

"Dad, I'm just a high school graduate. Can I?"

"Don't be pessimistic, Juna. You can do it, you just have to believe in yourself." Jonathan said with a small smile.

"Jun, you can do it. Spirit, tomorrow we learn yes. Slowly, you will be able to." 

"I have a little doubt, hehe." Juna said with a cry.

"What were you doing on the side of the road?"

"Airyn wants a snack anyway, Dad. Airyn had not eaten roadside food long ago." Airyn answered with a smile. 

"Don't eat too much food like that, not healthy."

"Once upon a time, Dad." Persuade Airyn to Daddy. 

"Yes, but not most. Skincare's expensive."

"Brake, Daddy."

"I'll take good care of Airyn, Dad. Thank you for believing in Juna."

"There's nothing wrong with believing in my own daughter's choice." Jonathan answered with a small smile. 

After almost an hour of talking, Juna finally said goodbye to go home first. 

"Dad, it's night. I'll go home first." Juna.

"Airyn want to go home or come with Juna?" Ask Jonathan. 

"Hmm, Airyn is just like Juna. Anytime again will ride a motorcycle malem-malem."

"Huh, on a motorcycle? You ride a bike here?" Ask Jonathan.

"On Juna bell, Daddy." Airyn replied with a chuckle.

"Yaudah, be careful you bring the bike to Jun."

"Ready, Daddy."
