Chapter 75 - Retractable Marriage

At night, after work the couple came to Jonathan's mansion. The man had been waiting for the arrival of the princess and also her lover. Jonathan welcomed the arrival of his daughter and future son-in-law warmly.

"Night, Dad.." Airyn greeting Jonathan and warmly hugged by Daddy. 

"Jun, how are you?" Jonathan asked, he also hugged Juna like a man.

"Juna is good, what about Daddy?" 

"Yes, Daddy's good too. It's just, Daddy's sugar levels have been rising lately."

"That's because Daddy's too eager to eat cake anyway, so his sugar goes up." Said Airyn while pulling Juna to sit next to her. 

"Hehe, Daddy's life is already bitter because of it, so it needs a sweet to neutralize." Jonathan replied, The middle-aged man was sitting on the sofa opposite to Airyn. 

"Where are you, Dad?"

"Mommy's here, baby." Said Monica while carrying a plate containing snacks. He already knew the arrival of his daughter and also Juna to the house, because he had contacted first before coming here. 

"Mommy, what's that?" Ask Airyn. She always likes snacks made by her mom, it's one she likes when she comes home. However, compared to what she likes, Airyn feels that there are more things she doesn't like about going home. Hopefully now, there is no more drama like this. 

"Small, baby." Monica replied as she gently rubbed the top of the princess' head. 

"Mami misses you very much, often goes home with Juna." Monica said, she smiled when she saw Airyn who was greedy eating her snacks. Unlike Juna who looks a bit shy, Airyn feeds Juna with her snacks, making Juna's face reddened with embarrassment. 

"Yes, Mommy. Airyn will come back here with Juna."

"You haven't talked about marriage?" Ask Jonathan again.

"Juna's been thinking about it, Dad. But financially, for now Juna is not able to. Sorry.." said Juna while bowing his head. Airyn who was cool with her own world also turned her head when she heard Juna's words. Really, she did not expect that Juna turned out to be thinking about her parents' question that day. Airyn thought maybe Jonathan was just joking, but it turned out that he was serious about it.

"But if you're willing to wait, maybe I will.."

"Wait how long, Jun? You know for yourself, Airyn's current age right? She's an adult and at her current age, she's already fit to have children." Jonathan's words made Juna bow his head.

"Daddy, don't say this. Juna is the backbone of her family, she has two people she has to live with."

"All right, then. You choose your family or Airyn, Jun?" Jonathan asked, which made Juna look up at Jonathan's face with a difficult look. 

"Daddy.."

"Silence, Airyn. Daddy wants to hear Juna's answer!" Resolute Jonathan, makes Airyn look at the face of the lover who looks gloomy with sadness. He shouldn't have brought Juna here. If only he hadn't invited her here, maybe now Juna wouldn't be depressed like this. 

"Think your answer well, lest you regret it." Jonathan.

Juna was silent for a moment, he was thinking hard now. She loves Airyn, but her love is much greater for her mother and sister. Her mother is the only one she has now, yet she is unwilling to leave Airyn. He loved her very much, especially after a few months together. It makes Juna gamang, it's really a tough choice.

"Sorry, but I prefer my family, Daddy. It's not that I don't love Airyn, I love her, I love her so much. Airyn is the second most valuable woman in my life, Dad. But, compared to my parents, I love my parents and my sister far more, just the ones I have now, Dad." Obviously Juna made Jonathan smile. While Airyn looked at Juna with a small smile that spread on her lips.

"Marry her as soon as possible, Daddy doesn't ask you to formalize your relationship. Daddy just wants the ability from you, that's all. Financial problems, whatever Daddy's responsible. You only need to tie Airyn with a sacred promise, the rest let it be Daddy's business. You willing?" Jonathan's question surprised Juna. Does that mean he's getting this wedding?
