Chapter 98 - Fear of Airyn

"Sa-yang.." Airyn with a disjointed voice. 

"Engh.." Juna squirmed and opened his eyes slowly. He still felt very sleepy, it was still midnight. It was time for him to rest after a day of exhaustion working in the company.

"Honey.. Ssshhhhhhh.." Call Airyn again in a smoother voice, with the ringing as if she was enduring the pain. 

"What, who?" Ask Juna. He turned his head towards the wife who had woken up with sweat flooding his forehead. 

"P-belly I'm sick, baby." Airyn answered while holding her stomach. Both of Juna's eyes bought in surprise, he saw the beautiful face of the wife who already looked pale. 

"Darling, why do you get sick?"

"I don't know, but it hurts a lot."

"How sick is it? You didn't eat any food while I was working, did you?" Ask Juna. Airyn shook her head. Today, he only ate home-cooked meals. Even when he whines he wants to eat meatballs, Monica and Mamak sprightly make it. Starting from her noodles they make it a home-based style, after pregnancy Airyn is rarely eating food from the outside because Juna strictly forbids.

"I just ate meatballs earlier, same soup. But the meatballs are made with Mami kok, Mamak also make."

"No way, baby. The doctor said it was two weeks away." Answer Airyn. Until Juna got up from his seat, then turned on the main light and pulled off the blanket that covered his wife's innocent body. Do not ask why Airyn can be plain without wearing clothes, it is certain that the married couple has done the ritual husband and wife. 

"Well, we don't know if it turns out in the bacil want to come out now. The bed is wet. Why try? You're wetting the bed?" Accuse Juna of making Airyn frown and look down. 

Right, the mattress around her was already wet there was even a hint of mucus mixed with blood. Juna glared at that, he took the bathrobe and asked Airyn to wear it.

"Wear it, baby."

"Make what?"

"Yes cover your body, I want to call Mamak first." 

"Yes, baby." Airyn nodded, she put on the bathrobe and let her husband go to her mother-in-law's room. 

Today, Monica and Jonathan are also staying here, so the house feels much more crowded because of their arrival. Not without reason they stay here, because the content of Airyn is already large and soon will give birth so they want to be prospective grandmothers and grandparents who are on standby. Just in case their daughter feels night-night contractions because Airyn decides to give birth normally. 

Juna came out of his room, it just so happened that Jonathan was still watching the ball. He was really happy to see a midnight football broadcast like this. 

"Wake, Jun?" Jo asked, she saw a strange look on her daughter-in-law.

"Daddy, it's Airyn's stomach ache.."

"H-ahh? Did he eat wrong?" Jonathan asked as he moved from his seat. 

"She ate meatballs earlier."

"It's impossible to eat meatballs, Daddy also ate meatballs but gapapa tuh." Answer Jonathan. He went into the room and saw his daughter sitting on the side of the bed. 

"Darling, what's wrong with you?" 

"It hurts, Dad."

"Are you eating wrong or what?" Jonathan asked worriedly. 

"Nothing, Dad. Know for myself that I only eat home-cooked meals made by Mommy and Mamak."

"Keep why?"

"I don't know, but my stomach hurts a lot here." Airyn replied while pointing at her lower abdomen. 

"Gosh, that's your bed so wet. Are you wetting or what? Or did you guys just play until it got so wet?" Jonathan asked and turned to look at Juna who looked wrong.

"Hehe, Juna same Airyn did play earlier. But it's not so wet, Dad. Look, it's got that bloody mucus." Juna pointed towards the bed that was wet and there was blood that started to dry up.

"Call your mama there, she's more experienced. Don't call Mommy just yet, she likes to panic." Jonathan replied, making Juna immediately go to call Mamak to his room.

Juna looked panicked, as if he could already guess what would happen next. His heart was pounding at this moment, what if Airyn was really going to give birth now? Be happy? Obviously, but he also felt fear at the same time. 

"Mom.." Call Juna while shaking slowly Mamak's body that is still sleeping while hugging Nana. To be honest, he didn't have the heart to wake Mamak up, but want to how else, he needed people to find out if this was indeed the time or not. 

"Yes, Juni. Why?" Ask Mamak lirih. His voice was still hoarse because he had just woken up. 

"Please look at Airyn, Mom."

"Why wife?" Mamak asked while tying his hair when he heard Juna mention Airyn's name. 

"His stomach hurts."

"It's been a while?"

"Maybe it's about half an hour, Mom."

"Why not call Mamak from earlier hmm?" Mamak asked, he immediately walked away from Juna. He was worried old with the state of his son-in-law.

"Juna thinks it's just a normal stomachache, Mom."

"Where is the stomach ache for up to half an hour." Answer Mamak. He goes to Airyn and Juna's room. He saw that Jo was already panicking there, his feelings were already heading in one direction at the moment when he saw Airyn's state.

"Darling.." Call Mamak, make Airyn turn.

"Huaaaa, Mamak's sick.." Airyn who had been strong enough to withstand the pain was crying when she saw Mamak who came.

"Darling, hold on a little." 

"You hug.." Whining Airyn. This is how Airyn is to Mamak, she is very spoiled for Mamak because she already feels as if Mamak is her biological parent as well. Even Monica herself seems to be forgotten if Airyn is already with Mamak. 

"Yes, here hug." Airyn hugged Mamak's stomach, while Mamak sucked his hands and felt Airyn's waist.

"Jun, get the car ready. Your wife wants this birth, why's it in the dame." 

"Birth, Mom? Now then? But the doctor said.."

"Is that important now? Hurry up and heat the car, we need to get Airyn to the hospital right now." 

"Y-yes.." Juna replied, the man ran out of the room to get the car out of the garage and heat it first. 

"Airyn's going to give birth?"

"Yes, it's like it's ruptured membranes."

"Please get the mattress wet." Jo lirih said.

"Can you wake up Miss Monica?"

"Yes, I'll do it." He ran to the room to wake his wife. 

"Mom.."

"Yes, honey. Why?" Mamak said while gently rubbing Airyn's hair. 

"Airyn's scared, Mom. Giving birth hurts, doesn't it, Mom?"

"But, after seeing your baby, Mamak guarantees that the pain will disappear instantly, dear. Don't be afraid, there's Mamak, Juna, there's Daddy and Mommy." Mamak said as he slowly kissed his daughter-in-law's forehead. 

"Mamak get you a change of clothes first yes, time just use a towel like this." 

"Don't be long, Mom." 

"Yes, baby." Answer Mamak. He broke his arms and went to the closet to look for clothes. As much as possible, Mamak looks calm even though his heart also feels anxious because moments like this are contagious. If women who are going to give birth feel pain, then those who have given birth will feel the same pain as well.
