Running, he continued running with the sound of his footsteps echoing throughout the journey. Chloe did not care about her tired body and her hunting breath. His mind was only focused on finding Felix's whereabouts according to the man's instructions.

Feeling anxious and worried gnawing at her heart not when she finds a dead end, Chloe's steps come to a halt in an abandoned park. He was sure that the path that became his goal was in accordance with the instructions.

Felix should be here, right? But why is this park so deserted?

"Please...Stop...!"

Vaguely Chloe heard a soft voice around her, the girl turned to look for the origin of the voice. He runs towards the corner of the park, finding the dying Xavier and Vallen with a bevy of bugs surrounding the two men.

But he did not find Felix's presence there. He tried to call the man's name.

"Sister Felix, where are you?" Shouted while watching around.

Xavier spewed fresh blood from his mouth, He felt a bunch of insects starting to move away from them. Now he can move a little freely even though his body feels pain.

Felix heard Chloe's voice, The group of insects fused to form Felix's body. He returned to his original form and stood not far from the girl. For a moment his gaze was fixed on the fainted Vallen while Xavier looked weak and in pain.

He ignores them and chooses to call Chloe. "Chloe, I'm here!"

Chloe ran over to Felix after hearing the man's call. "Sister Felix, are you okay? You said something happened and you had to leave the cafe for a while. Everything's fine, right?" Chloe asked worriedly.

Felix gave a faint smile. "Yes everything is fine, my business is done. Anyway for now they definitely can't do anything, we can go back to the cafe now,"

Chloe's gaze turned to Xavier who stood up slowly, The man's breathing seemed to be hunting and full of anger. He held his fainted sister in his arms while staring at Felix.

"For the time being you did win again, but remember that I will definitely beat you one day" Gertak Xavier was angry.

But Felix only responded to the bluff in a calm tone. "Good luck in the next fight, I'll happily wait," Reply Felix smiled kindly.

Xavier gave a final glare before a portal appeared above them. The bottomless black portal gave rise to a dazzling light that was fixed on the bodies of Xavier and Vallen, Slowly the bodies of both disappeared from the sight of Felix and Chloe along with the black portal closed.

"It's a shame that this fight finished too soon, they were a bit disappointing. They weren't this weak" Felix said.

"And I sometimes still don't really believe that there are still humans who have super cool powers like them" said Chloe.

Felix turned his head and chuckled, He rattled Chloe's mane in a frenzy. "From now on you have to get used to it, you get into our lives which means more and more of what you will know in the future. This includes anyone who has spiritual power. Well, for example, Fallen Angel members like them,"

"I used to live a safe and peaceful life, and now since I've been living with you, my life has become strange and confusing. Will I someday be like you, possessing spiritual power?" Chloe looked at Felix, leaving her hair a little messy because of the man.

Felix pulled his hand and put on a thoughtful expression. "Maybe, but it depends on the man himself. Most people prefer to live in peace without wanting to interfere in spiritual matters. Even if you choose to coexist with spiritual power, there must be some risk to bear,"

"Then I'd rather live like a normal human being, living with spiritual abilities feels like a weight to me," Chloe slightly lowered her head as she linked her fingers.

Felix smiled faintly and patted Chloe's shoulder gently. "That's your choice Chloe, no one's forcing you to have spiritual power. Humans and spiritual beings like us should not coexist, either,"

"Lha? What are you doing in the human world if you can't live side by side?!" Chloe speechles instantly.

"It's a long story, and it all started with a deal. If you want to hear the story, just ask Justin. He's the one who knows the most about spiritual beings,"

"So, Mr. Justin seems to be very well respected in the dorm," Chloe stepped on her feet to return to the cafe.

Felix walks next to Chloe after hearing the girl's words. "Yes, we respect him enough because he brought us all together, if he didn't invite the other members to join. Maybe we won't all meet and won't get to know each other,"

"Yes, too" Chloe nodded in agreement.

For a moment Felix was silent, he ran out of topics and racked his brain looking for topics he would talk about with Chloe so as not to be awkward during the trip. Soon she remembered the conversation between Ian and the other members including herself.

Where Ian said he saw Chloe with another man in the hospital. The man also escorted Chloe to the front of the dorm, Even the chatter between a foreign man and Chloe time in front of the dormitory was heard also by Ian and himself including other members.

"You're saying you used to have a crush, still have a crush on him now?"

"Oh, not really. It's a long time ago too, it's just the past. Besides, I used to be just amazed by him, there was never any intention to date," explained Chloe relaxed.

"Have you seen him lately?"

"Generally, Time in the hospital. He once helped me, I fainted and he took me to the hospital. And he's taking me home to the dorm,"

After that he said even though I was married, he would not give up. It doesn't matter if I'm married or not" Chloe ended the story there.

The girl let out a heavy sigh, Suddenly Felix held onto both of her shoulders. The aqua-nosed man's gaze looked solemn without the friendly smile he used to show. It made Chloe stop and focus on the Netra Felix who was staring at her.

"Hearing your story, I suggest you stay away from him. I'm not sure he's the same attitude you last knew him, that man could've changed. You have to be careful" Felix said seriously.

"Sister Felix doesn't like the existence of her brother Herry?" Chloe furrowed her brows in confusion.

"Not so, I just feel like he's dangerous. Besides, I also feel like he'll do anything to get you. After hearing your chat the other day, we were guessing,"

"So you guys stole hear what I was talking about with Brother Herry?! It's not polite to know!" Chloe stared in annoyance making Felix a bit shocked.

"Sorry, we're just curious because you've been driven home by him. The only other one who heard was me, Ian, Ezra, and Neil Kok," Felix scratched his nape that was not itchy, a bit clumsy because he accidentally slipped.

"After hearing that, Ian was so angry that he went to your room,"

"So who was in my room and turned off the lights was Ian's brother?!" Chloe's strangled.

Felix gave a small nod, so he felt guilty for letting everything happen. Especially at that time Ezra was angry because he said Chloe went into his room and interrupted his break.

"I know I shouldn't let you go alone, especially to find out what tasks each member is doing. When you passed out, Ian didn't want you to interfere in his mission, did he?"

"Yes, Felix knows where?"

"Ian said it himself," Felix let out a small sigh. "Is it better now that you can't go alone anymore huh? I've felt since you knew us. Your life is not safe" Felix added anxiously.

Chloe simply looked away, Before long a sweet smile rose on her lips. He gave Felix a soft look.

"I'll be fine, Brother Felix. That is the risk that must be accepted as the wife of spiritual beings like you. Although it's not easy, at least I want to be useful and fight with you, too,"

Felix was stunned for a moment, The look in his eyes seemed to imply disbelief as well as being moved. A thin hue adorned both of her cheeks before pulling Chloe into the man's arms.

He whispered softly right in the girl's ear with a gentle smile. "Then can I bite you now?"

"Well, bite what?"
