40. Gwen's death

"I'm Ariel Charles Theodor."

The young man in front of Ariel received Ariel's helping hand with a slightly trembling hand. "E_Ethan, my name is Ethan Mr. Ariel."

Ariel stands and pulls Ethan's hand until the young man stands, after which Ariel releases Ethan's hand. "Why do they want to finish you off?" Ariel asked on target.

Ethan tries to regulate his feelings so as not to fear Ariel and convince himself that Ariel is not a bad person.

"They wanted to finish me off because I found evidence of their boss's crime that was sealed all along." Ethan answered without hesitation.

Ariel nodded. "Hemmm so it is. All right, I'll go first." Ariel turned and was about to walk away but then Ethan called out to her.

"Mr Ariel tinggu."

Ariel dried up before she finally turned to face Ethan. "What's wrong?"

At first Ethan looks hesitant when he will say it but a second later he feels confident in his decision. "Can I be your subordinate? To be honest I need protection from you but more than that, my life is safe thanks to you therefore let me devote myself to working on you."

Ariel stared at Ethan even though he was very satisfied because his goal was achieved without having him ask Ethan first.

"What can you do for me?"

"I used to work as a secretary and personal assistant to Mr. Brandon from Callista Property, of course my experience is not in doubt considering I worked there for three years." Ethan answered confidently.

Ariel frowned upon hearing Brandon's name being mentioned by Ethan. Is not this a very profitable coincidence, Ethan clearly knows a lot about the current condition of Callista Property under the leadership of Brandon.

"Before you became his secretary, where was the previous secretary?" Ariel asked curiously, because the previous secretary who is also her father's secretary Angel is unlikely to just leave his position.

"I'll be honest with you." Actually a secretary before I died of a heart attack. But I just found out a fact about Mr. Brandon if he turns out to have killed the secretary before me, even he also killed the original owner of Callista Property is his own brother."

Ariel now understands why Ethan was hunted to be killed by Brandon, of course Ariel will protect Ethan from now on and make Ethan one of his subordinates.

"Where's your car?" Ariel asked, looking around because there were several cars, including the car belonging to the criminal.

Ethan points at a blue car. "That's my car sir, that's blue."

"Well from now on you become my subordinate and work for me. We just have to take care of each other." Ariel walks first past Ethan to the young man's car, with Ethan hurriedly learning the rarity of Ariel.

"I'll take you to the hospital so you can take care of your wounds." Ariel's bargain however sounded like an order.

"Okay sir, but if I may know where your vehicle is?" Ethan asks because Ariel is walking to his car, and where Ariel thinks Ethan is.

"I live in my friend's company."

"Then how did you get here?" Ethan frowned thinking hard.

"fly." Ariel answered casually by turning her head towards Ethan at a glance.

"Huhh???" Ethan felt his mind blank immediately. But he did not want to bother about how Ariel could be there which obviously Ariel had helped his life.

Ariel gets into Ethan's car and sits in the steering wheel, actually Ethan feels bad and asks that he drive the car but Ariel refuses.

"But you are now my boss sir?" Ethan asks object to Ariel's decision.

"Is there a problem?" Ariel starts to start the engine of the car and ignores Ethan who actually objected to his decision.

Ethan smiled awkwardly. "Because normally my duhulu boss would not care about my condition, he would rule me at will."

Ariel raised her shoulders indifferently. "That's not me."

Ariel drives Ethan's car at a moderate pace as he occasionally looks up at his cell phone waiting for a message from Angel if his wife has returned home from college. Angel had not sent him a message.

Currently Angel is in the cafeteria with Michael, initially the three of them along with Mia as well but suddenly Mia was summoned by one of their Lecturers.

"Angel are you not feeling well?" Michael asked worried because he had seen Angel as agitated.

Angel shook her head while smiling faintly. "No. I'm fine, I'm just worried Mia will get in trouble with our new Lecturer." Angel's real answer is a lie.

Angel actually began to feel uncomfortable sitting together with the opposite sex like this when she has now become a wife. Indeed she felt very sinful with her husband, even Angel had thought that later after returning home she would apologize to Ariel.

"Calm down, I'm sure Mia's gonna be fine won't get into trouble." Michael tries to calm Angel down by holding Angel's hand on the canteen table.

Angel gasped in shock and reflexively pulled his hand quickly to make Michael surprised and astonished by Angel's actions.

"Ah sorry." Angel said it was not nice.

Michael forced his smile. "It's okay. But if I may know I feel like you've been avoiding me since Mia's birthday party."

"really?" Ask Angel who turns out Michael can already know the answer to Angel's attitude.

"That's because...."

"Hey what are you talking about, seriously?" Suddenly Mia came patting Michael on the shoulder and immediately sat her crazy butt in the canteen chair next to Angel.

"It's nothing? Just about a course I don't understand and I'll have Angel teach me later after school." Answer Michael.

Mia looked at Angel by raising both of her eyebrows. "Well, I won't bother you." Mia approaches Angel and whispers something in Angel's ear. "Prepare your husband will be angry." Temptation Mia who increasingly worried Angel, actually Angel wants to refuse. But he did not have a good reason to reject Michael's invitation.

"Damn you!!!" Angel pinched Mia's stomach making the girl grimace in pain.

After going home from college. 

Just as the Lecturer had closed his college materials this afternoon, Angel's phone rang. A smile is printed clearly on Angel's lips when he sees if the name of the suaminyah is listed on the screen of the phone.

"Hello. I'm sorry I just finished. Are you really in front? please go there soon. " Angel closed the call on his phone without knowing if Michael who was walking to Angel's seat immediately stopped hearing Angel's conversation accidentally not far from Angel's seat.
