42. Little Flashback

Still flashback though.....

"Let's go in...." Angel graciously invited his savior maasuk into a department store that was open twenty-four hours.

With clumsiness Daniel followed what was instructed by this bespectacled girl while in fact Daniel had never entered a place like this in the human world.

Angel ordered Daniel to sit in a long chair that was right by the window. "Wait a minute here."

Angel left Daniel sitting alone, Angel went to the shelf section containing various cups of ramen and instant noodles with various flavors.  Angel took two cups of ramen that did not taste too spicy for fear of making her rescuer upset stomach and ended up with diarrhea.

Angel also brewed two glasses of espresso paper and two bottles of mineral water and then with a tray that looks full, Angel again walked to the place where he left Daniel earlier.

Daniel's eyes caught Angel's movements from a distance that saw a lot of stuff on the tray, with Daniel immediately stood up and approached Angel to take over what Anfel was carrying.

"Let me take it." Daniel takes over the tray Angel is carrying before Angel even agrees.

"Ah thank you sir." Angel walked away with Daniel.

"Just Daniel, please..... " Begging Daniel with a hearty look as he turned towards Angel.

"All right, Daniel."

Daniel smiled triumphantly. "That sounds better. Thanks Angel."

Angel and Daniel sat next to each other staring out of the room. Angel put a cup of ramen and a cup of coffee in front of Daniel, not to forget Angel also gave a bottle of mineral water.

"Let's eat, it's delicious to make on a cold night like this."

Again and again, Angel's innocent smile was able to make Daniel's heart pound loudly.

Daniel nodded obediently and started eating instant noodles in the cup just like Angel did.

Angel took off her glasses, and that's where Daniel could only silently look at Angel's face without a blink.

Well-favoured. Inner Daniel, he tried to awaken himself so as not to continue daydreaming to make Angel suspicious and afraid of him.

Daniel continued to eat again, it feels really delicious, the tempting aroma will make the stomach more rumbling, it was delicious, and warm sauce that feels very delicious makes Daniel ingin eat ten cups at a time but it is impossible to do in front of Angel now.

"Enak right?" Angel's eyes sparkled as she asked.

Daniel nodded. "Right, this is delicious. Thank you, Angel, you've bought me."

"No problem, then I'll go home first. Thanks for the help." Angel got up from her seat but her steps stopped when Daniel held Angel's hand making Angel turn back towards Daniel.

"I'll take you to the door. It's late, pretty dangerous for a girl like you."

Angel agreed. "Actually my house is not far from here, but since you've been willing to be kind to me you can take me home."

Angel and Daniel go hand in hand with Daniel who carries Angel's bike, want Daniel to piggyback Angel but Daniel can't ride the bike so it's impossible if Angel who hugs him?

"So this is your house?" Daniel asked after they got to Angel's house.

"Yes but I'm sorry I couldn't let you stop by because it's so late."

Daniel nodded his head. "It's okay, you're tired and you need to rest." Daniel was silent for a moment, sawbia jngin convey something but he seemed to hesitate.

"What's wrong? Is there anything you want to say?" Ask Angel at the end.

"Actually I have to go back to where I came from tomorrow, but I would love to have a reminder that I've met you, but I don't have a cell phone like you."

After hearing Daniel's explanation, Angel immediately entered the house. At first Daniel thought that if Angel was angry at his words, then finally Daniel decided to go from there.

Daniel turned around and walked a few steps and Angel's voice called out to him.

"Daniel!!!"

Daniel's steps stopped, he turned around and saw Angel who ran to him with everything in his hand.

Suddenly Angel stood beside Daniel and pointed the object that Angel was holding in front of them both.

"Look at the camera and smile. 1 2 3."

Daniel had only obeyed what he had told him, but this time he was shocked when a small piece of paper came out of what Angel called a camera.

After a few seconds passed, Angel gave the paper to Daniel which turned out to contain a picture of himself with Angel.

"This is for you."

Daniel grabs a small paper with a picture of himself with Angel. A moment of smiling Daniel. "Thank you Angel, I'm leaving first. See you soon."

Back to the present

Almost every night Daniel looked at the picture of Angel before he went to sleep, actually at that time he wanted to be given the task to come down to earth to destroy the traitors of his people.

But his post as crown prince made it very difficult to get out of the realm of the dark kingdom. Daniel had already decided that he would still come down to earth, even if it was only one day. In addition to picking up Ariel, Daniel wants to meet Angel.

Daniel re-inserts Angel's photo into his dimension ring, then walks to the King and Queen's room.

"Mother, are you asleep?" Daniel asked at his parents' door.

Clara Theodor opened the door to her room, and she saw a tired face that made Daniel feel sorry for her. "Good boy, I haven't slept."

As Daniel enters his parents' room, Clara closes the door and follows Daniel from behind.

Daniel chose to sit in one of the chairs close to his father's bed. Daniel could see that his father looked thin and pale.

"Are you still not ready to replace your father's throne, son?" Clara Theodor asked softly while holding her son's shoulder. "Look at your father's body, I'm so afraid that your father can't speak any longer."

Daniel did not have the heart to see the condition of his father but he was not ready to become a king, if only to replace the position of his father temporarily it is not a problem but if he is crowned a king of course Daniel did not want to.

Not getting an answer from her son, Clara finally chose to sit next to Daniel. "Why haven't you slept, son?"

Daniel looked at his mother. "I'm not sleepy yet mom, I'm doing a lot of work and thinking."

"You know you're very busy, but I'm sure you're a strong man, Daniel."

Daniel smiled warmly. "Thank you ma'am."

"When are you going to marry Leona?"

Instantly Daniel's smile faded without a trace.

Ethan's face looks very bright. "This is good news sir."
