CHAPTER 3 ATTENTION

When she got home, Lily took off her shoes and walked to the kitchen where her mother was cooking. Lily hugged her mother spoiled.

"What's mom cooking?" soft ask.

"Boy soy sauce chicken cookery, how was the school hmm?" ask ibukku.

"Everything is fine, ma'am, Febi and rena say hello to my mother, they miss the delicious mother-made cake" I said with enthusiasm.

"True, then tomorrow I'll make them a cake" said my mother with a smile.

"Hum, look at me just loving them" I said with a frown.

You must know I was just kidding because the three of us were close. They rarely stay on weekends. Many times we even vacation together.

We've been friends since Junior High so it's no wonder they're like family to me. That is why the mother can only smile, know once the character of her child.

"By the way your brother is, didn't you guys go home together?" ask ibukku.

Lily had just walked into her room when there was a notification on the classroom grub. There's a list of things he should bring to practice at school tomorrow. Fortunately it was not yet afternoon so he decided to prepare and say goodbye to his mother.

My home area is quite strategic there are puskesmas, police stations, shopping centers and even traditional markets. So I just had to walk through a few alleys to get to the supply store that I needed.

Lily arrived at the store and immediately bought some of the items she needed. When he went home he was interested in the book of his favorite author. He decided to read it because it is in this store providing books here for free. As long as we read it on the spot and don't ruin it.

It didn't feel like it was getting dark Lily immediately decided to go home. Lights on the street were seen starting to light up, the workers were seen flocking home to each other. Children who play are also seen running away.

Lily was about to speed up her footsteps when she suddenly heard a familiar voice.

"Damn it, you coward. Dare they attack silently. See how we will take revenge later," Alvano said with harsh denunciations.

Lily stopped and turned to the origin of the voice. He saw the alion and his friends there. I only recognize Agas, the twins Alvano and alvaro, and the last one is zidan. The other one I don't know.

They look messy with a ripped mouth and bruised cheeks. They walked towards me with annoyed faces. Because there are people who are passing by here like they don't see me. It seemed that some people were glancing towards them as if curious.

They were surprised when they were right in front of me. Lio looked at me strangely as if asking what I was doing here.

I was silent at a loss of what to say, it would be awkward if I greeted them while we were not close. Agas who did talk a lot also broke into this silence.

"Lily, right. What are you doing here?" askinya.

"Hmm yeah, my house is near here. I just got out of the store and now I'm going home" I explained.

"Well, we accidentally met. Could this be hahaha's fate."

Alvano's laughter instantly dissected after saying so. That was followed by his friends except for Lio and Zidan who were indeed quiet.

"Whispering, go there treat your wounds,’’ said Lio firmly.

"Every boss, hahaha,’’ exclaimed them with laughter that still echoed, they left.

Alion approached towards me, Lily could see the bruised wound on Lio's forehead clearly. The wound was terrible as it was not only a blue bruise but blood dripping from it.

Lio was still wearing the school uniform like the last we met. Like he didn't come home after school.

Seeing that blood made Lily recall those bad memories again. Lily's hand trembled as fear burst into her heart. He does not want to lose anymore.

Alion also seemed to be aware of Lily's unease. He thought about what this rabbit was afraid to see his appearance. He and his friend had just had a fight with the school next door. He hasn't had time to clean up so he knows how bad he looks.

He decided to leave because he did not want his girl to be scared. But just as he passed by, he heard the girl's trembling voice.

"Lio, can you take me home?" said the girl to Lio.

Alion didn't want her girl to see him fall apart, she was about to refuse. But, upon seeing the wish twinkle in his eyes with trembling hands, it made him change his mind.

"Go on. I'll follow you from behind" said Alion.

Lily walks with Alion following behind. They remained silent for the rest of the journey with their own thoughts.

Until it was not felt until not far from the house Lily was. Right in front of Lily's alley they stopped.

"Here is Lio, my house is right up ahead. Thank you for driving me," said Lily softly.

"Hmm, I'm leaving," said Alion coldly.

Lio left just not far away he walked there was a sound to stop him.

"Wait on!! Can you wait a minute. I'll be back here soon," Lily said withholding Lio's departure.

"Don't run...."

It's not finished Lio finished the word he said. Lily ran away and entered her house. I don't know what the girl wanted to do, why the rush. It's not that he won't wait. Alion could only sigh helplessly.

Alion did not wait long because Lily immediately returned with a medicine box.

He knew it was for the wound on his forehead. Lily pulled me towards the bench right in front of us. Lio just stared softly at how Lily was treating her injuries with a very careful heart.

Actually the wound was not too serious he was used to it. Even he didn't feel the slightest pain. But, looking at her girl so carefully was afraid she was in pain. Makes his heart soften for a moment.

All feelings of annoyance about the behavior of his enemy were immediately lost.

"Lio can you not fight,’’ Lily said heartily.

"Why, are you worried about me hmm. Have you always been like this. Don't be nice to just any man or they'll misunderstand," Lio said teasedly.

"What do you mean I'm a girl like that huh," exclaimed Lily annoyed.

Hearing Lio say so Lily left in annoyance. What does that mean he's just like this to his girlfriend.

Lily wasn't even close to a man other than her father and brother.

Lio could only be speechless seeing her girl leave, it seemed like she misunderstood. She just wanted Lily to care about her.

She couldn't imagine any other man getting Lily's attention other than herself and her family. He could die of jealousy if that happened. Lio regretted that he should have said it clearly.
