Breaking the Promise

One day passed after the incident Adrian rampaged at Angel who was late to pick up his two children. Saturday, this is Angel preparing to leave, to eliminate a bit of his saturation. However, he reasoned to go to college.

“Angel, you want to go to campus?” Tanya Radit will return to Bandung.

“Iya, Pa.” Answer the neat Angel.

“Then let's take you back.” Said Radit.

“Loh, why Mother to campus, not if Saturday is a holiday?” Ask Alika.

“Yes, there is a short affair on campus. You guys are equally papa ya.” Said Angel.

There Adrian was sitting with Radit while sipping their coffee. Adrian has not apologized to Angel at all because of his harsh words at that time. Actually, he wanted to apologize, but every time he wanted to greet Angel or approach her, he was awkward because Angel was trying to avoid him.

“Yan, papa pamit.” Radit said to her son, alternating with Angel who first said goodbye to her husband and kissed the back of his hand.

“Iya, Pa. Careful.” Answer Adrian.

“Oh Yes Yan, one more. Papa knows you don't love Angel, but at least treat her like your wife. Angel good woman, papa just afraid later even you yag sorry to behave like this to her.” Radit patted Adrian on the back.

Adrian was silent. He could not love his wife yet, but he had started to pay attention before, although the incident a few days ago made the situation both cold again.

Angel was ushered in by her father-in-law right up to the front of campus.

“Ngel. Forgive Adrian yes!” Pinta Radit on Angel who was just about to get out of that car.

Angel smiled and nodded. “Iya, Pa. Papa be careful on the road ya.”

“Iya, Darling.”

Angel waved her hand at her father-in-law who opened the window before leaving. Radit returned the hand with a smile. On the road, Radit is not inexhaustible with the attitude of his son, even though Angel has loved his two children sincerely.

After seeing her car in-laws driving away, Angel crossed the road again and stepped towards the train station. He wants to enjoy his solitude this morning, maybe in the afternoon he will just go home.

Angel used a train and two-wheeled online motorcycle taxi to get to the place she had longed for. With a slow step, Angel entered the apartment. The apartment is full of memories because it was given by the man he loved so much.

Beep

Malik who was in Jakarta, to visit the father was also heading to the apartment he gave to his lover at that time. Sometimes Malik checks the cctv in that apartment, just to see if Angel ever comes there. However, for more than a year, he had never seen the woman he loved visiting there. He really misses being with his girlfriend. He also wants to visit the apartment and hug Angel clothes as a reliever of his longing.

Malik took the time to buy his lover's favorite seafood dimsum and fried rice for him to eat alone while in the apartment.

Beep

The apartment door opened, after Malik pressed his post. His eyes surrounded the corner of the room. He also smiled. The condition of Angel's apartment remains neat, fragrant, and clean, because Malik has told people to clean this place once a week.

Then, Malik's feet stepped into the room. He saw the door of the room open slightly. Slowly he opened the door and saw the figure of the woman he knew lying behind him. Sontak Malik was surprised. He didn't think Angel was here.

Two hours ago, Angel laid her body down and cried. This is what he wanted to do in the apartment. He wanted to scream and cry. After that, Angel fell asleep from tired crying for almost an hour.

Malik approached the woman. He looked at her swollen angel eyes and her wet cheeks.

“Why are you, Bee? Are you unhappy?” Malik asked while rubbing Angel's face.

Malik's voice sounded faint in Angel's ear. He thought it was a dream, because his eyes were so heavy to open.

Then Malik laid his body on the bed and hugged him from behind. Malik also closed his eyes, because of the comfort of being close to the woman he missed. Angel was getting louder, because the sense of comfort in the arms of Malik. Angel felt like a dream.

Dret.. Dret.. Dret..

Malik's phone alarm vibrated in his pants pocket. He also woke up because of the vibration.

“Oh, soon my plane will leave.” Malik muttered, then woke up.

He had already booked a ticket for his return to Singapore. Malik then kissed Angel.

“Wait for me, Bee. I'll come back and get you.” Malik lirih.

He stood up and put his coat back on. Then, get out of the room, leaving behind Angel's favorite food that he hasn't had time to eat.
