Breaking the Promise

Breaking the Promise
It's real

Angel smiling. “I was accepted as a lecturer in Jogya. Actually I want a call or text to you, but?”

“But why? Have you forgotten me?” Ask Malik.

Angel shakes. “Sorry, bukam so. I'm just keeping Enin's feelings in check, because he's my only parent now.”

Malik smiling.

“Oh, my goodness. If Enin finds out you're here, he'll get mad at you.” Suddenly Angel panicked. Angel knows exactly how unhappy Enin is with Malik.

“They seem to be on the second floor.” Answer Malik.

“What do they look for for food? Earlier Nabila whined for chicken krispy.”

“Maybe.” Answer Malik.

Angel looked to the right and left while looking for the whereabouts of his family.

“Do not be afraid, Enin is not yet.” Malik said again.

Then, Angel again confirmed his sitting position. He looked at Malik, until the two looked at each other.

“Kak, thank you for everything.” He held Malik's hand.

Malik smiling.

“You want to be my wife?” Ask Malik who suddenly became serious.

“I want to, but right now I have to go to Jogya. I've been under contract for two years there. I've signed that contract.”

“My answer once again. Want to be my wife?” Malik asked again by looking at both of Angel's eyeballs.

Angel nodded. “But not seka.”

Malik cuts Angel's words and stands up while pulling Angel's hand to stand up. He took Angel away from that place.

“Kak, we've made a lot of mistakes. I don't want to make any more mistakes.” Angel follows Malik's hasty steps.

“Kak.” Angel tried to release the hand checks and invited Malik to stop his steps.

Malik looked at Angel.

“I don't want us to elope. I want us to marry in a good way and with my family's blessing.”

“You think I'll marry you without your family's blessing?” Ask Malik smiling.

Shortly afterwards, boisterous voices clapped Ella, Neneng, five-year-old Nabila and Enin, resuscitating Angel.

Angel was surprised. It turns out he was already on the second floor precisely in front of the small mosque inside this station.

“Come married! They have already approved.” Malik pointed to all his family there.

“That's my dad.” Malik leads Angel to meet Faisal and his wife, and there are two younger sisters there.

Angel smiled, her happiness could not be described by anything. He kissed the back of Malik's parents' hands.

“This is my two sisters.” Malik introduced Kanaya who was in the twelfth grade of High School and Aira who was still in the ninth grade Junior High School.

“Wah, it turns out that Sister Angel is beautiful. Pantes Abang chase continues.” Said Aira.

Angel hugged Malik's two younger sisters in turn. Everybody laugh.

“Alright, Let's go inside. We start, because penghulu has been waiting for a long time.” Faisal said he led some of the nuclear family to enter the mosque which can only be filled with no more than fifteen people.

Fortunately, this time is still far from the hour of prayer time, so the mosque is quiet and no one else is using it.

Angel looked confused. He only obeyed his family to enter the mosque.

“Good, Sir. I'm ready.” Said Malik who had sat first in front of Penghulu and Angel's marriage guardian.

“Bi, this means?” Angel asked confusedly, as she was about to sit beside Malik.

“Sit there, Honey. Enin bless you.”

Angel closed his mouth. He did not believe what happened today, even though it had been three nights, he was always crying and could not sleep well, because he had to separate again from Malik.

Hendra is the only son in the family. Uncle Hendra is gone. However, there was a boy from uncle hendra. He was already beside Pak Penghulu, because Malik had already sought him and asked to marry him. Fajar and Faisal were witnesses.

“Wait. I also became a witness.” Said Jo hastily opening her shoes.

“Halah, over time you, Ndut.” Malik mentoyor the head of his best friend.

“Alright, can we start.” Said Pak penghulu.

Malik shook the hand of Rahmad, the son of Hendra's uncle who was far away in Borneo. And, this special day came to Jakarta just to marry Hendra's daughter. After that, Malik's man will drive him back to the airport.

“I received the marriage and marriage of Angel Agnita Puteri Bin Hendra Kurniawan with a dowry of one hundred grams of gold and a set of prayer tools in cash pay.” Malik spoke the sentence after Rahmad said it.

“Sah.. Legitimate.. Sah..”

“Barokallahulakuma Westaroka Alaikuma Wajma Baynakuma Fii Khoir.” Said Mr. Penghulu in a hand rub to the face of each of those present there.

The little Mushola became crowded.

Angel was crying incessantly. He rubbed his face long ago.

“Bee. Now you're my wife.” Malik said Angel who was still in a happy cry.

Angel looked towards Malik slowly. He saw Malik who was about to hold the ring and pin it on Angel's ring finger.

“This is not a dream?” Angel asked again, making everyone there laugh.

Malik is smiling. “Not. It's real, Bee. You are istiku now.”

He pointed the ring at Angel's ring finger and Angel thrust his finger at Malik.

“Pas.” Said Rini, who happened to accompany Malik buying the ring.

“Alhamdulillah.” Enin, Ella, Dawn, and Faisal.

Angel and Malik sign the marriage certificate. They also displayed a red and green book in their hands.

Everyone took that happy moment.

Chequek. Cheese.

Malik and Angel looked smiling. They forget the pain they went through before, because today it seems to have paid off the pain.

All the families immediately saluted and congratulated the two brides. Really, Angel feels like this is still a dream. A dream come true. He never expected it before.

“Now, Amang relieved to let you go. Because you went with your husband.” Fajar said as he handed over the two executive train tickets.

Angel received two pieces of paper with the logo PT.KAI. He read the name listed on the ticket, it turns out that it was his name and Malik's name.

Then, she glanced at the man who was now her husband. Malik smilingly received the gaze of the woman who eventually became his wife.

"The place of residence and all your needs in Jogya is also Malik who prepared it. Because you'll be living together." Connect Ella.

Angel hit her husband's arm. "Yes, baby, make sprains."

"But love, right?" Malik's question made Angel blush in embarrassment.

After the Khidmad procession was completed. All the families drove these two brides, up to the limit of the delivery room.

“So? You guys planned this?” Ask Angel again. Shortly before the train to Jogja arrives.

Ella and Dawn nodded.

“This is Papa's idea.” Faisal.

“It's also Enin's idea, loh.” Enin grinned, showing two teeth that look leaping in front, because before leaving he forgot to use his false teeth, so excited to immediately arrive in Gambir.

Then, everyone laughed.

“Enin, miss gear?” Ask Ella.

Then Enin immediately closed his mouth. “Emang yes?” Shamefully asked.

Everyone laughed back. The atmosphere was so cheerful, that they finally waved their hands to enter the area where the executive train had stopped.

"happy always." Shouted Ella in the smile of her other family.

"Papa's phone often." Shouted Faisal.

Malik an Angel also returned the hand and turned to walk towards the place where the train they were going to ride. Along the way, Malik clasped his wife's hand tightly. Angel looked up at the hand.

"I'm not gonna let you go again." Malik smiled as he lifted the grip of his hand that held the hand of Angel.

Angel nodded and smiled. They walked back, staring straight ahead with happy smile reviews.
