S2 (129) Hugging

Rayyan is out of Serena's room. He lit the fireplace in the living room. The furnace was already available in anticipation of winter.

After lighting the fire, Rayyan went back into Serena's room. The woman was also still uncomfortable in her sleep. Slowly he woke her up.

“Seren!” Rayyan patted Serena's cheek. But apparently the woman did not wake up, even though she was cold. Moreover, his eyes were already tightly closed.

Rayyan wakes up Serena. Until the third time he patted the woman's cheek gently, Serena never woke up. Finally the only way was to hold Serena and move her to the living room sofa where she had lit the fireplace.

The next morning in the living room, more precisely on the sofa, two sleeping people hugged each other with thick blankets wrapped around their bodies. The fire that was burning last night is now gone.

Somehow last night Rayyan was able to sleep on the couch with Serena. Even the two of them hugged very tightly as if reluctant to let go of each other, because of the coldness that was still attacking.

But it didn't happen for long. Serena who first woke up because she felt a warm gust of Rayyan's breath that hit the neck area. Apparently Rayyan who sleeps with the head position is in the niche of the neck Serena.

Serena's eyes opened slowly. Until she realized her position was hugging in a thick blanket with a man who is now her husband.

Serena did not scream. Although he was very surprised by his current position.then, he slightly distanced his face until he could clearly see Rayyan's face that was still asleep.

The face of the man he had hated because of the beginning of his meeting that had ruined Serena's life. However, it cannot be denied that Rayyan is a responsible man. Especially when she was pregnant, Rayyan cared about her.

Serena recalls Mama Feby's words. He did not want his son to be the same fate as himself, who never felt the affection of parents. So, will he open his heart to Rayyan from now on?

Suddenly Rayyan moaned and slowly blinked her eyes, while Serena pretended to sleep so as not to make Rayyan surprised or feel guilty.

“Ahh.. why can I sleep here?” rayyan muttered after being aware of his position.

Rayyan slowly opened her blanket. He put Serena's hand that was holding her. She didn't want to be mistaken for stealing an opportunity while Serena was sleeping. Then, it was better that he woke up first before the woman woke up.

Rayyan was very surprised as Serena hugged him even more tightly. He also thought that the woman was still twinkling and needed warmth.

“Seren, don't be like this! I'm scared.” Rayyan murmured while staring at Serena's sleeping face.

Serena heard clearly what Rayyan had just said.she did not understand the word “takut” spoken by Rayyan.

After that Rayyan managed to escape from Serena's embrace. The man went straight to his room to wash his face. And let Serena still sleep.

Today Rayyan did not come to the office.outside it was snowing. Some roads are closed. Eventually Rayyan chose to work from home only, and possibly for the next two weeks.

After Rayyan washed her face and changed her clothes, she immediately went down to see Serena, as well as making food for her breakfast menu.

Rayyan had already not seen Serena on the living room sofa. The blanket that used to sleep last night was also non-existent. It means Serena is awake and in her room. Rayyan finally went into the kitchen.

“Seren? What are you doing?” rayyan asked in surprise when she saw Serena was already in the kitchen.

“You rest! you are still not recovered.” Rayyan looked worried.

“I'm fine. I only make fried rice only.” he replied with busy hands preparing fried rice seasoning.

Rayyan just let out her breath slowly. After that his eyes were fixed on the dining table, where there was a cup containing coffee that was still hot.

“You are pregnant. Don't drink coffee! The content of caffeine is very bad for the fetus.” Rayyan said and picked up the cup as if she was going to throw it away.

“I don't drink coffee. I made it for you.” Serena said as Rayyan was about to head for the sink.

Unbeknownst to Serena, Rayyan smiled faintly. Then he approached Serena while carrying the coffee.

“Thank you.” Rayyan said in a whispering voice.

“Consider as my thanks for last night.” Serena with cheeks is blushing.

“So, you know that last night I carried you and moved you to the sofa?” asked Rayyan curiously.

“Ii..iya. last night I was awake.” Lying Serena.

“Ok. Now you better sit down. let me continue cooking.” Rayyan immediately takes over Serena's duties before the woman puts up a rejection. Finally Serena can only resign, when in fact she is very happy that Rayyan who cooked fried rice for her. Because when I woke up earlier, Serena suddenly wanted to eat fried rice like Rayyan.

“Don't forget, don't use garlic.” Serena reminded me.

“Do not worry! I remember exactly. I also don't want my son to make Mama fussy.” Rayyan said with her back to Serena who was smiling warmly.

A few moments later Rayyan's fried rice was ready. Serena took him to the living room, because she wanted to eat there. Rayyan followed him.

“What's delicious? If it is less salty or less what, you just say.” asked Rayyan when Serena had bribed a spoonful of fried rice.

“Enak. Why don't you eat?”

“Let's go. It's important you eat first. I don't want my son to starve.”

Serena did not say anymore.he continued eating with Rayyan waiting for her there. Rayyan was busy with her phone.

After the meal, there was nothing Serena did. Rayyan herself was busy sending messages. Then Serena asked Rayyan about her work so she could help her.

“No need. You just rest enough. I can handle everything.”

“Why? I'm also your secretary.”

Rayyan put her phone on the table. Then he sat down with Serena.

“You can just keep your control, Seren. I don't want anything to happen to him. Moreover, his age is still one week, and it is very prone to miscarriage.” Reply Rayyan.

“Do you love this child?” serena asked with trembling lips. Somehow Rayyan's statement just seemed like Rayyan only wanted her child, but Serena had already established her heart to start learning to love Rayyan.

“Of course I love it so much.” Rayyan answered with confidence.

“What if something bad happens to him?” serena asked firmly withholding her tears from falling in front of Rayyan.

“Do not arrive. Therefore, I ask that you take good care of him. If something bad happens with him, it means.” Rayyan deliberately paused his sentence.

“What does it mean?”

“That means, you'll easily leave me. And I don't want that to happen.”
