Chapter 14 - Getting the Perpetrator

They are now at the home of Cindy, a 38-year-old woman. He used to be a secretary in the office of Abraham Shahbana, now led and lived by Harsya.

An hour before arrival, Cindy's house has been heavily guarded by Harsya's men. This is to make sure that the woman does not run away.

As soon as they arrived, Cindy looked surprised to see the faces of Emir and Anaya.

Now they are in the living room.

"Who are they, Harsya?" ask Cindy pretending not to know.

"There's no need for theatrics, crafty lady!" answer Harsya.

"What do you mean?" ask Cindy nervously.

"You're the mastermind of my father's murder!" Harsya said without further ado.

"Where might I do it" Cindy said. "I was at the same table with your father" he continued.

"Why did Miss Cindy get to know Mr Emir?" ask Biom.

"I don't know him" replied Cindy.

"Don't lie!" harsya Benthic.

"I'm not lying!" said Cindy shaking .

"What are you talking about outside the restaurant?" ask Harsya.

Emir and Cindy looked at each other with faces of fear.

"Why did you kill my father?" ask Harsya loudly.

A frightened Cindy quickly ran to the main door of her house.

Harsya's men caught the woman and held her hands together.

"Take me off!" scream Cindy.

"When I just bullied you, but clearly with the attitude you admit it!" Harsya.

Cindy suddenly laughed, "I'm so satisfied to have eliminated your father!"

Harsya stiffened her jaw.

"Why would Miss Cindy do that?" ask Biom.

"Because I love her father and her property" Cindy replied with tears in her eyes.

"Where does Miss Cindy know Mr. Emir?"

A few years ago.....

The Emir drove Anaya to the restaurant, when he got there. Cindy who was enjoying lunch with her friend saw father and son involved in a quarrel.

Cindy walked up to him trying to pass him, "Sorry to interrupt, why are you being so rude to him?"

"It's none of your business!" replied Emir ketus.

Anaya who was lazy to argue finally chose to quickly enter the restaurant through the back door.

"Are you not ashamed to see people?"

"I'm telling you, don't interfere in our business!"

The Emir rushed out of the restaurant on his motorbike.

A security guard, approaching Cindy, "Miss, you better not interfere in their affairs."

"Indeed, why?"

"The father always tortured and cursed his daughter."

"Is that girl not her real daughter?"

"His biological daughter, but they assume that Anaya is a pesky carrier and they want to get rid of her."

Cindy who heard it, smiled.

In the afternoon, Cindy followed Anaya who was picked up by her father with her car back home.

Cindy goes down, leaving Anaya and Emir shocked by her arrival.

"You're following us?" tuding Emir's.

"I happened to cross this road, so I stopped by" Cindy said.

Nuni came out of the house, he looked jealous at Cindy's presence, "Who is she, Mas?"

"I've only just gotten to know him, too" replied the Emir.

Anaya, who was tired, went into her house.

Cindy spread her eyes to make sure Anaya wasn't around.

"If you have no business with us, please leave!" expel Nuni.

"I want to invite you to work together" Cindy said.

"Cooperation?" Nuni and Emir looked at each other.

"We're talking in the car, here maybe we can hear other people" Cindy said.

"Are we going to get a big wage?" ask Nuni.

"Yes" replied Cindy.

Nuni and Emir agreed, the three entered the car.

"What should we do?" ask Nuni.

"I want to eliminate someone, but through your daughter" Cindy replied.

Emir and Nuni were so shocked.

Nuni and her husband thought for a moment.

"Didn't you consider Anaya an unlucky bearer? Let him languish in jail" Cindy instigated.

"We didn't get dragged along, did we?" ask Nuni.

"No, you'll be safe as long as you keep your mouth shut."

"When are we going to do this job?" ask Emir.

"I'll tell you again" Cindy replied.

Nuni and Emir agreed.

A few days later.....

Cindy invites Abraham to lunch together at the restaurant, the two have a special relationship.

Cindy asked Anaya to cook them a meal, arguing that the girl's cooking was delicious.

And coincidentally, the head chef permits out to take his son to the hospital.

Before the incident, Cindy bailed to the toilet to Abraham but she went to meet with the Emir and the two chatted beside the kitchen, "How? Did you manage to put the powder?"

"Hurry up, give me the money!"

Cindy pulled out a brown envelope filled with money, "It's only fifty million, if it works out I'll give you the rest!"

"Alright," the Emir received the envelope and left.

Cindy went back into the restaurant and sat down with Abraham.

Meanwhile Anaya alone in the kitchen begins to cook Cindy's order, as she has already 2 years working in the restaurant the head chef gave her trust to him.

Anaya with a carefree heart cooking, he then copied on the dishes and bowls then he also served it because the restaurant where he worked was not big so not too many employees.

Anaya smilingly presented her guests, then she passed.

"Mas, this food menu is very good," said Cindy.

"You eat here often?"

"Almost often, my mother."

"I didn't expect you to eat at this little restaurant."

"Yes, I am like this. To me it feels good no matter the restaurant is big or small" Cindy said.

"I'm proud to be your lover" Abraham smiled.

"When did you marry me?" ask Cindy.

"I cannot leave Madhya" replied Abraham.

"Mas, is it love or not with me?"

"I love you so much, Cindy. But the lady who helped me was as successful as I am today" Abraham explained.

"Am I not worth much to you, my dear?"

"You're precious to me, Cindy."

"You always make false promises, Mom."

"Is that house and car not enough to say that you're so valuable?"

"But I want to be together and have you."

"At the moment I can't tie you up officially" Abraham said.

Disappointed Cindy tried to calm down, and then told Abraham to taste the food.

Abraham dipped the chicken soup with a spoon, 2 times. Suddenly, he dropped the spoon and his body stiffened and fell to the floor.

Cindy pretended to be panicking, "Mas!" his screeches.

Everyone inside the restaurant was shocked and they shouted. Some men approached Abraham lying on the floor.

"We have to take her to the hospital!" restaurant head advice.

"Yes," Cindy agreed.

They lifted Abraham's body into the car of the head of the restaurant, then darted to the hospital.

Anaya, who was in the kitchen, was cleaning up salt spilled on the floor.

Lulu ran over to him, "Anaya, the guest at table number eleven fainted!"

"What!" Anaya rushed out of the kitchen to make sure.

Upon arrival he saw the middle-aged man's body being transported to a car.

"What's going on?" anaya asked with a trembling body.

"The guest fell after eating your meal" Lulu explained.

An hour later, some authorities came to the restaurant and took Anaya.

"Sir, what's my fault?" ask Anaya in fear.

"You have made Abraham Shahbana lose his life" said one of them.

"I don't understand" Anaya said.

"You have put poison into food" he explained.

Anaya shook her head. "I didn't do it, sir. I could swear!"

"You come with us now and explain later at the office!"

"All right, sir."

Along the way, Anaya always prays if he is not the culprit.

One day in custody, Anaya was released for lack of solid evidence and Abraham's wife Syahbana called for the investigation to be terminated.

It does not make Emir and Nuni happy, but they do not want to see his daughter's face forever.
