"yes it's time to go" Jisoo got up from her seat and rested following her. Everyone quickly tried to escape the room. The women begged them to stay, that they should know how they were going to die.
That's fucked.
They all refused to believe him.
"Don't you want to know what your fate is?" "Huh?"
Still not believing it, Jisoo grabbed the doorknob to leave. They're all quiet.
"One died of sacrifice, one died of accident, one died of suicide, the last was killed .." he took out the money without their consent.
"I really hope you guys .. be careful," it's almost like he pityes them. "Don't believe him" Jisoo said to the girls who were about to cry. "Why does he say negative predictions about us"
"Don't you think he warned us? Remember that we didn't even pay him," Rose had good reason, no reason for him to lie and how he could know so much about their past.
Lisa, the youngest is the most scared of them all and Jisoo notices her worries and decides to hug her tightly, "It's okay. As he said, if we make good decisions with our lives, we will die naturally" those words calmed the girls down a little.
"Let's try to erase this event from our memories," They all nodded in agreement.
Finally, no one had the guts to talk about the topic anymore.
"Can we stay at my house?" Lisa pleaded, they all looked at each other and smiled, "why not?" Jennie said and they all turned their direction to Lisa's house.
Lisa knocks on her door and is greeted by her older brother, Namjoon, who is currently in her second to final year of high school. "It's been almost 10 p.m., anywhere you—" she stopped talking when she saw that she had been accompanying.
Lisa's parents are workaholics as both lawyers are very successful, they are rarely seen at home. Lisa is aware that since she was young, she did what she liked because her parents were not there to discipline her or tell her what was good or bad for her, but Namjoon has done a good job of keeping Lisa's feet on the ground and teaching her morals to live.
"This time was unintentional. I'm sorry." She apologized which made her brother calm and it seemed like his friends had come to the house and Lisa still had not said a word about them. "It's too late, supposedly the little girls aren't home," she teases and Jennie pushes her sideways kindly so she can get through it. "Aren't you supposed to learn" he replied.
If Namjoon hadn't been watching television, he would have learned everything even if it had nothing to do with school. "It's Saturday" he said as he followed the girls into the living room. They stay there and start talking about crap and Namjoon just sits on his solo sofa, listening to music when he sees time go by and that the girls are still not home. He didn't mind if they stayed but he felt strange. "Are you guys staying over or-"
"Yes, right," Lisa snapped.
"Then let them call her parents because the last time, I almost hit my ass" If they stay at Lisa's place it's usually because her house is twice the size of the other one so it's more comfortable, but sometimes they forget to tell their parents that they are not going home.
Namjoon does not realize that Lisa has sneaked in or told him that they are here because he is always busy studying. In the middle of the night, she would wake up with someone trying to break into the house because parents were looking for their daughter.
"We already did it when we came here, they all agreed" Namjoon finally felt more relaxed with Jisoo's words.
"We called her to you because you wouldn't feel lonely" Lisa commented which made the girls giggle. She blushed and tried to go back and pay attention to her phone, but Rose said something interesting that set the room on fire.
"Lisa don't bully your sister, she's waiting for Jennie"
It's no secret that Namjoon has a crush on Jennie "don't take it personally but you're not my type" She teased him.
Jennie seemed to like the vibe of a bad boy and Namjoon was nowhere near, he was just the opposite.
"You might change your mind when you're an adult" she winks at Jennie and quickly heats up the room and leaves the girls teasing Jennie.
"But in a serious tone, Jennie .. You can't date my sister," Lisa confessed to seeing her brother leave the living room. "Why should I?" He laughed nervously.
"Or you guys," he admitted.
Trashy!.
Their friendship has lasted almost a decade which is really surprising even to them because they are completely different in terms of intelligence, maturity, economic status, hobbies, school, and opinions, but they never let that happen between them and instead encouraged them to stay together. One thing they have together.
They have the same mindset.
Jisoo lived in his neighborhood all his life. While the others came one by one.
Lisa's parents are successful lawyers who often forget their children. They are the definition of workaholic adults. Jisoo's parents were one of the first families to introduce themselves to the Kang family.
A seven-year-old girl hides behind the bodies of her parents. Jisoo is too shy to 'Hi' to the tall girl who seems to be the same age as him. Jisoo is intimidated and afraid of approaching Lisa's side because ...
Lisa was angry at the world.
One day Jisoo's parents invite Lisa and Namjoon to a Carnival that changes things for the better because it makes Lisa smile.
He could not stop smiling and laughing. Jisoo was no longer afraid of her, she saw Lisa's true colors, from that day on, they were inseparable.
Jennie came the following year.
Both of Jennie's parents were both Tax Managers and stayed in the same place for too long. Also, his mother was having an affair, and his father did whatever he wanted.
Her mother was pregnant with her when she was 17, she was not planned. When she was born, her parents were forced to marry for the child, to Jennie. Her parents don't love each other, but they stay 'together' for her. Every year as Jennie grew older, she saw him less and less.
