Over the past few weeks, Jennie and Jiyong have been dating. Every day he comes home late (midnight) because he spends time with her after her internship is over. The girls are always together or at least they pair up every day so they see Jennie's absence easily. Jiyong would pick him up every day to take him to the apprentice. She would wait for him in the cafe parking lot because Jennie felt uncomfortable being picked up in front of the school entrance because Jiyong as a whole was just creating attention. The girls knew nothing about Jiyong. Jennie wouldn't tell them. At least not now. So she avoids their calls and messages but at school, she always tries to escape from their questions. Seeing a 24-year-old man soon was not good news when they would hear him, he thought they would judge him for being interested in men of that age and tell him to stop seeing him. Jiyong and Jennie's bond becomes stronger every day. They both enjoy each other company. Jennie falls in love with him, but she has trouble accepting the reality because everything happens too soon. He often took her to museums because both enjoyed abstract art. Most of their 'dating' consists of dinner and going to the movies. To his surprise, they had more in common than he thought. But there's a missing element that makes Jennie stop saying they're going on dates. Jiyong had not tried to physically touch her in any way. He wanted to hold her hand feel her warmth and maybe peck her on the cheek or .. on her lips but it felt like Jiyong did not feel the same way. He becomes very slow with her as he says or may want to stay as a friend. "Why did you hide this 'Jiyong' from us?" Jisoo said in a cold tone, she crossed her arms while the girls remained behind her ever since they were by her side, Jisoo was the most worried for her, she was afraid she wanted to rebel, she said, they are at that age. "Please promise me that you won't judge me?" He started to panic as he saw the girls stop playing around and remain silent behind Jisoo. "Why are we going to judge you all of a sudden?" Rose spoke softly. Jennie told them to sit on the bed so she could start explaining. "I know you'll understand but I'm afraid of your reaction and the outcome"
"I'm sorry for acting so vague," Jennie lowered her head and started playing with her fingers waiting for their answer because she knew it was very wrong that she was hiding this from them especially. "It's okay but don't let this happen again" Lisa said and they all agreed with a nod. "Even Namjoon is worried about what's going on with you" he continued. "Namjoon," Jennie smiled silently, "Stop it," Rose shouted. "Now, tell us about 'Jiyong'. I don't know anyone by that name," Jisoo asked, getting closer to Jennie and grabbing her shoulders to move back and forth, "Come on, talk," he ordered as he shook her even harder. "Jiyong is a male—" She didn't even start explaining and she was already cut off. He slapped his forehead with his hand when he started hearing many questions after at the same time while Jisoo was silent.
