Chapter 02's

After the 5-year timeskip, skaayla grows into a cute little vampire with her white hair and charming red eyes. Lucy looks after skaayla with affection like a mother taking care of her own child.

In a house among the trees.

Skaayla: "Haaaa is really tired of this life.."

Lucy: "What do you mean boring?" Said Lucy who suddenly appeared in the room.

Skaayla: "Ah, mom. Hehe, that means boring because today is a day where people are very busy. Skaayla's friend's friend starts going to school so skaayla has no playmate hehe."

Skaayla: "So, Ma. Skaayla wants school too!!!! Skaayla wants to learn many things and meet new friends."

Lucy: "Ah I understand. Of course, my dear. I'll send you to school next year."

"But Skaayla, you have to study seriously and control your strength well before you start school anyway" Lucy said seriously.

Skaayla nodded, "Skaayla will definitely try, Ma! Skaayla can't wait to learn and meet new friends!"

Lucy smiled and embraced Skaayla tightly. "I know you will definitely be a smart and kind child, my dear. And I will always support you."

Skaayla felt warm in her heart. She felt so lucky to have a mother like Lucy who was always there for her. He promised to do his best and make his mother proud.

"Skaayla will do her best, Ma! Skaayla will study seriously and control Skaayla's power well!" skaayla says passion.

Lucy smiled happily. "I know you can do it, my dear. And you're not alone, I'll always support you"

A few days later, on the day of Sezell (Monday), Lucy and Skaayla get ready to go to the capital city of Aurasel. Every day Sezell, they went there to thank Goddess Sezia Aurasel who was guarding the northern region from danger.

Because this is the age of 5 (new world) Skaayla has been obliged to come along.

Lucy took Skaayla's hand. "Come, sweetheart. We have to leave now so we don't get late."

Skaayla was delighted and excited to go to the capital. He wondered if he would meet new friends there.

Skaayla felt confused because she realized that the distance between the capital and her house was far.

"Ma, isn't it the distance of our home and the capital that far away and takes 2 days of travel? How can we get there in a day?" Ask the confused Skaayla.

Lucy answered while stroking Skaayla's head "Of course with dear Erys. It's your first trip to the capital, so you've definitely never seen the Erys."

Skaayla looks confused "Erys??"

Lucy smiled and explained, "Erys is a magical creature that can take us flying at high speed. We'll ride the Erys to go to the capital."

Skaayla was surprised and delighted to hear it. "Wooaahh, Skaayla can't wait to experience flying with the Erys!" skaayla said enthusiastically.

Lucy shrugged and smiled, "Of course, my dear. Erys will also bring us back home quickly and safely once we're done in the capital."

Skaayla smiled and felt even more excited about going to the capital. He feels happy because he can ride the Erys and also hopes to meet new friends at school later.

Lucy closed her eyes and poured magic energy around her hands while saying a few words to summon the Erys.

In a blink of an eye, Erys suddenly appeared before them.

Skaayla was shocked and amazed at once.

Lucy helps Skaayla climb onto the back of the Erys, and they set off towards the capital city of Aurasel at breakneck speed. Skaayla feels free-flying and enjoys seeing beautiful views from the air.

"Wow, this city is really big and busy!" skaayla said with admiration.

Lucy smiled and stroked Skaayla's head, "Yes, baby. It's the largest city in the north."

Then, Lucy and Skaayla head to the temple of Goddess Sezia Aurasel to thank for protecting the northern region from harm. They walked through the bustling market and arrived at the temple after a while.

When they arrived, Skaayla was fascinated by the beauty of the temple. The temple is made of beautiful white stone and decorated with stunning sculptures.

"Mama, this temple is really beautiful!" skaayla was amazed.

Lucy smiles and holds Skaayla's hand, "Yes, baby. This is a very important temple for the people of the northern region."

Arriving at the temple of Goddess Sezia Aurasel, Lucy guides Skaayla to kneel and pray. Skaayla closed her eyes and prayed earnestly, begging that Goddess Sezia always protect them and give them good luck in their lives.

Skaayla expressed her request to Goddess Sezia Aurasel with great earnestness. However, the moment he said his prayer, his subconscious was suddenly summoned by a powerful and uncontrollable force. Skaayla felt that something was stirring her mind, making her feel uncomfortable.

"Skaayla..," a delicate and familiar voice suddenly sounded in her head. "How are you skaayla?."

Skaayla surprised. He felt as if someone had entered his mind. And he was irritated that the voice was remembering a figure that was irritating to him.

"Ah, the god who reincarnated me as a baby?" skaayla asked in a cold voice.

"Ah yes, what are you doing here? I thought you'd worship me, but you'd prefer that cold." Said the God in a disappointed tone.

"Maybe it's because he's more suited than you." Answer Skaayla.

"Hahaha, so what are you doing?" Ask the god.

"Slightly thank you for giving mom like Lucy." Answer Skaayla again.

"How evil it is, when I have Lucy with you."

"Hehe, sorry just kidding. Thank you, even though I still hate you for reincarnating me as a baby."

"Isn't that lucky? Because if you don't become a baby, you won't meet Lucy."

"Hmm, yeah whatever. I still hate you."

"So what's the matter of meeting me in my subconscious??"

"Just want to give you protection. Because the goddess of death is beginning to be attracted to you." Say that god.

"Is that bad?" Ask skaayla

"It depends on how you look at it" replied the god wisely. "But for sure, you should always be careful and try to take care of yourself. The goddess of death can be a very powerful and dangerous force if not properly regulated."

Skaayla nodded, understanding that she had to be careful with the power that could harm her. He thanked the god for giving the warning.

"Thank you for your protection. I will try to take good care of myself" Skaayla said respectfully.

The god just smiled and nodded in satisfaction. "All right, I'm going back to my nature. Take good care of yourself, Skaayla."

With that, the voice of the god vanished from Skaayla's mind and she refocused on her prayers to Goddess Sezia Aurasel. After she finished praying, Lucy and Skaayla walked out of the temple feeling calm and hopeful.
