They both walked out of the temple and decided to go to the dress shop for a while before heading home.
"Mom know, didn't you? Skaayla felt like something was troubling Skaayla's mind while praying" Skaayla told Lucy
"Oh, what is it?" ask Lucy, showing her interest.
"Skaayla wasn't sure ma, but there seemed to be a force calling Skaayla from the subconscious" Skaayla explained.
"You sure?" ask Lucy, a little worried.
When Skaayla wants to explain what happened in the temple to Lucy. He saw a girl with blond hair and pitch-black eyes who was sitting under a large tree near the path. The boy looks about the same age as Skaayla.
Skaayla was curious and approached the girl. "Hi, what are you doing here?" skaayla asked with a friendly smile.
The girl turned her head towards Skaayla and Lucy, and looked rather shocked. "Oh, hi," he said in a small voice. "I'm just enjoying the fresh air here."
"I'm Skaayla, what's your name?" ask Skaayla again.
"I'm Eve" the girl replied with a smile.
"Eve, you live here?" ask Lucy.
Eve shook her head slowly. "No, I just passed by and decided to take a short break here" he replied.
Skaayla feels something is wrong with Eve. He looks nervous and scared. "Is something wrong, Eve? You look worried" asked Skaayla in a soft voice.
Eve bit her lips and shook her head. "No, nothing's wrong. I just feel a little tired and hungry" he replied.
Skaayla felt unsure of Eve's answer, but she didn't want to force it. He offered Eve help, "Do you want to eat something or drink? We'll help you find him."
Eve nodded and smiled slightly. "Thank you, I'll appreciate it."
They walked together to the food and bought some food and drinks for Eve.
Skaayla still feels curious about Eve, but she doesn't want to make her uncomfortable. He just hoped Eve would feel better and not worry anymore.
After they finished buying the food, they continued on their way home. Eve still joined them and looked more relaxed after eating. However, Skaayla still felt that something was wrong with Eve.
"Skaayla, you still look worried. What are you thinking?" ask Lucy.
Skaayla felt hesitant to speak, but she ended up expressing her concerns about Eve. "I don't know, but there's something strange about Eve. He looked very agitated and scared just now under the tree. I feel like something's wrong with him."
Lucy pondered for a moment, then looked at Eve with attention. "Eve, what's really going on? Are you all right?" ask her gently.
Eve bit her lips and lowered her head. "I don't know. I just feel a little scared and uncomfortable in this city" he replied.
"Eve, do you have any parents here?" ask Lucy again.
Eve shook her head, "I have no father and no mother. They died when I was a child" he replied in a soft voice.
Skaayla nodded her head in agreement and smiled lightly at Eve. "You can stay with us, if you want. We have a place for you in our house."
Eve looks surprised by the offer, but she feels very grateful. "Thank you very much. I really appreciate it" he said in a soft voice.
Lucy and Skaayla are thrilled to be able to help Eve and bring her to their home. On the Erys road trip, they talked about their lives. Eve looks happy and excited, as she finally finds a safe place and people who care about her.
When they arrive home, Lucy shows the room that has been prepared for Eve. She introduces Eve to their cute and friendly cat, as well as showing her where the kitchen and bathroom are.
Eve is deeply moved by the warm welcome given by Lucy and Skaayla. He felt that he had found a new family that cared about him. After Eve occupies the prepared room, Lucy and Skaayla invite Eve to join them in the living room.
In the living room, Lucy offers some snacks and drinks for Eve. They talk about everything from life in the city to life in the forest. Eve is thrilled to be able to talk to Lucy and Skaayla.
As it gets dark, Lucy shows Eve to the bathroom to take a shower and change clothes. After that, they had dinner together in the dining room. A nice dinner and a warm atmosphere made Eve feel very happy.
After dinner, Lucy shows Eve where her bedroom is.
Lucy notices that Eve looks awkward in her own room. "Eve, if you feel uncomfortable sleeping alone, you can sleep in a room with Skaayla. She must be happy to have a bedmate tonight."
Skaayla smiled and nodded her head, "Yes, we can talk and share stories before going to bed."
Eve smiled and felt relieved. "Thank you, it would be so much fun" he said.
Lucy smiled, "Alright, you two can sleep in that room. If there's anything you need, don't hesitate to call me or any other voice."
Eve and Skaayla looked at each other and smiled. They walked into Skaayla's room while talking about everything they liked and disliked. It didn't take long, they both fell asleep soundly and happily.
Lucy observes them from outside the room, happy to see that Eve and Skaayla are comfortable with each other. He said a light prayer for the two of them, hoping they would feel safe and happy in his home.
Skaayla awakens with sleepiness that still haunts her mind. He closed his eyes for a moment more before finally opening his eyes completely. After rubbing her eyes and tidying her hair, Skaayla felt a little surprised because she did not see Lucy in her room.
Skaayla gets out of bed and checks the whole house for Lucy. He searched the kitchen, living room, and dining room, but did not find it. Skaayla gets even more worried when she can't find Lucy anywhere.
Suddenly, the front door opened and a mysterious man entered with a very strong dark aura. "Hi, little boy. What are you looking for?" he said with a heavy and haughty voice.
Skaayla looked at the man fearfully, yet she tried to remain calm and replied in a trembling voice, "I-I'm looking for Lucy. He suddenly disappeared."
The man smiled cynically, "Oh, is he? Ah I understand now but unfortunately, you will never be able to find her again." At that instant, Skaayla felt her body being moved instantaneously into a very deep place. He fell on the cold and foggy floor.
Skaayla felt trapped and could not get out of there, and she felt fear and confusion. He doesn't know what to do and misses Lucy and her other friends. She kept crying and praying to get out of there and meet the people she loved back.
His prayer was answered, the protection given by the god who reincarnated him turned into a light of warmth, the light dispelled Skaayla's fear.
The light then turned into a cute little creature, and was able to speak to it using the language of the gods.
"I came to answer your call. I am Eriase, the creature who served the God Xerxes who reincarnated you."
"I hope my presence will reduce your grief and fear."
