Combat Emperor: Zhang Yu's Journey

Combat Emperor: Zhang Yu's Journey
Chapters... 41: Worth Throwing Into the River

"Hey, didn't you hear my warning? Get out of here or I'll throw you in the river!"

That black-robed man named Duan Jian smiled faintly. Moreover, looking in front of him this was just a smelly boy. Even if it has courage, can it be compared to him who has a cultivation of six-star expert level?

It was truly this man named Duan Jian had no idea who was before him. As he was about to return said to bluff, Zhang Yu swung his hand violently slapping his face.

Plaque!

The shrill voice shocked the previously oppressed middle-aged couple. They compactly raised their faces and found Duan Jian squirming on the floor while holding his cheek which was imprinting a slap trail.

"Bad! I'm gonna kill you!" Duan Jian felt he had been humiliated. He roared in disdain and then lashed out a blow avenging the humiliation against him.

But before the fist touched the face, Zhang Yu held back with only his left hand.

Bam!

Duan Jian was stunned. The power of the punch he was very proud of, but in the presence of this stinking boy was completely meaningless. How come?!

"Uncle, Auntie, you can go. Leave the trash of this society to me." Zhang Yu spoke to the middle-aged couple with understanding. They thanked him and immediately moved to the back.

"It's your turn now."

Sounds relaxed. But Duan Jian's body stiffened hearing him. His back was sweating and his face was pale.

"The wrong opponent! This boy was not weak!"

At that time Duan Jian realized he had picked the wrong opponent. He tried to release the grip of Zhang Yu's hand then intended to dodge.

But how could he possibly retreat so easily? Everything must be accounted for.

Zhang Yu did not immediately let go of Duan Jian's hand. He advanced, bent and twisted it until a single scream came out of his mouth.

"Let go. This is sick ...." Duan Jian began to beg. It was as if forgetting how the middle-aged couple had previously pleaded but she still ignored him.

People like this do not deserve mercy.

Zhang Yu pulled Duan Jian's hand to the edge of the barrier. Duan Jian who had a bad premonition then held on to the pole beside him. He asked with fear.

"W-what do you want to do?!"

Huhhhhh...

"Didn't you want to dump me in the river?"

Gluey!

Duan Jian held the pole tighter and tighter. "No. Nay! I beg you, we can be friends. How's it?"

This man can do anything for his purpose. No word friends! No need for consideration!

The next instant Zhang Yu pulled the hand of Duan Jian who was holding on to the pole. Duan Jian rebelled, but he could not help but kick Zhang Yu in his body.

Byurs!

A huge wave was created next to the ship. Some of the people behind spontaneously ran to the right side looking at what had just fallen.

The middle-aged couple laughed so contentedly. "Felt! He deserves it!"

Duan Jian waved for help. "Wait on! Don't leave me."

Some people feel sorry. But when the middle-aged couple recounted if Duan Jian wanted to snatch away their treasures, the passengers compactly laughed as they waved their hands in mockery of Duan Jian.

"Haha... Mucus! Let him be fish food."

Du Xiong was currently inside the room. The commotion outside no doubt got him out. "Zhang Yu, what's wrong?"

Zhang Yu returned to the front. He glanced at a glance at Du Xiong who had just arrived. "There's nothing. Just a small matter."

Small problem?

Du Xiong did not ask further. He returned to his room to continue his sleep as the journey was still long.

Cit.. Cit..

Sun descended from Zhang Yu's shoulders. Standing on the head of the dragon statue that was at the front of the ship.

"Sun has not made a breakthrough since one week ago. I don't think it took long considering he's leveling up so quickly. Turns out ...." Zhang Yu sighed softly. His hand again stroked the surface of the silver heart pendant on his neck.

At least that was all he could do now to remember about his mother.

...

Afternoon.

When the clear white sky turned somewhat red, the ship had just entered the bay of Heishan City. Black flags with sunflower insignia become a sign if they land on the right track.

Early ships began to flip the sails to reduce speed. Ten people were on the right side carrying the mine ready to hook the rope when it reached the dock.

Du Xiong walked out of the room while yawning. He walked towards Zhang Yu who was not moving at all from the front deck.

"Hows it? Do you feel like this town is so good?" She smiles. Trying to boast of his territory by comparing Qian Gu City.

Undeniably. These two cities are very different.

"Fat Uncle, which direction should I take to get to the Imperial Academy?" ask Zhang Yu.

But instead of being answered, Du Xiong frowned in surprise. "Are you going to travel straight to Xue He City? At least go to the He Family. The Great Lord also wants to see you."

"Maybe next time. I will go straight to the Imperial Academy and meet with the teacher. Only then, will I visit if there's a chance." Zhang Yu reached out to Sun. The small ape instantly leaped off the top of the dragon's head.

Haiyan...

"Dearly enough. But how else ... Because you don't want me to be unable to force."

Zhang Yu felt bad. Du Xiong said as if he refused to come there. Though not so. He just can't come now. Maybe next time.

"Here, you take this map." Du Xiong threw a scroll that was originally under his clothes.

Zhang Yu opened it and slowly his expression became solemn.

"The map isn't very detailed, but I'm sure you understand."

"Yes, thank you Fat Uncle. I can read it." The map that Du Xiong had provided was only a rough overview of the territory of the Xuan Empire. It encompassed four cities, Qian Gu City, Heishan City, Xue He City and Nuli City.

Looking from that look, it was clear Qian Gu City was the smallest and located the easternmost. Heishan City was above the right and had an area twice as large as Qian Gu City. Above the left of Qian Gu City was Xue He City, the capital of the Xuan Empire which was the widest city on par with the three regions of Heishan City.

The westernmost region is the city of Nuli. No wider than Kita Heishan, but also no smaller than Qian Gu City. Its territory lies between the two cities.

"Zhang Yu, take good care of yourself. I'm going back to the He Family with the others."

The ship had just lowered its sails, Du Xiong and the four others jumped then instantly disappeared within sight.

Zhang Yu rolled up Du Xiong's gift map before storing it behind clothes. He walked down the connecting board casually while watching the people passing by on the dock.

Right said Fat Uncle. This city looked even better compared to Qian Gu City.
