From morning to evening, the palace guard is not loosened. Zhang Yu who was still looking for a crack to get out actually died a louse from being forced to remain still in its place.
However, rather than just silently doing nothing Zhang Yu took a step to leave the front yard and return to the palace.
Passing through the hallway with a stumbling walk, he was already very similar to a thief. On one occasion Zhang Yu saw Song Wejin who had just walked out of a secret door.
Of course this made Zhang Yu widen his eyes. It was very unexpected that he had the chance to see something that should be a secret.
Zhang Yu held on to his place for quite some time, only after making sure Song Wejin completely stayed away did Zhang Yu slowly walk out from behind the pillar and walk to the secret door.
"What's he doing here? Did he keep his treasure inside?" Unable to resist the curiosity made Zhang Yu take the decision to open the secret door.
However, what he did not understand, it turned out that the secret door needed a certain mechanism to be able to open.
Zhang Yu touched every surface of the wall, but his efforts bore no fruit.
Hum!
"How can I open this door?" By the time Zhang Yu was already getting upset, Sun who was sitting on his shoulders jumped down pulled his feet to step on the floor with a picture of a dragon head.
"..."
Jglik!
Unexpectedly the floor that was just below his right foot slightly collapsed and the plain wall in front of him slowly opened.
This incident left Zhang Yu speechless for a while. He brushed off the look of shock on his face, then stroked Sun's head back onto his shoulders. "Good job, man!"
Not wasting much time Zhang Yu went inside. As with the automatic door, the secret door instantly closed as soon as Zhang Yu walked a few steps.
However Zhang Yu did not care much about this and continued his footsteps through the passageway.
Some time still not finding anything strange. But once he had walked dozens of steps, he vaguely heard a groan of pain from within.
Zhang Yu immediately stopped, his ears trying to hear more thoroughly. How much it repeats, it is not wrong if it is the groaning of people in pain.
Zhang Yu quickened his footsteps. Passing through the hallway that was getting deeper became wider. Then he arrived at the end of the passageway which turned out to be a circle-shaped space with nine doors spread out. No longer dark, there were many torches perched beside each door.
"Is this some kind of holding room?" Zhang Yu approached the door of the room with a small gap with iron metal as ventilation.
Peering from the crack of the small box he saw a man who was quite unkempt and he was sitting looking at him with a flat gaze.
Zhang Yu ignored the man, he walked to another door that was nearby. But his footsteps came to a halt with a coughing sound that sounded from the eighth door.
Huk... Huk...
Zhang Yu spontaneously stepped towards door number eight. He peeked out from the crack and could see an old man who was lying with pale skin. Besides, his body was so thin and looked cold.
Huk...
Brak!
The door opened, the old man who was in a dying state was no longer aware of the existence of others around him. It was as if he was facing a pre-death period.
Zhang Yu reached out and touched the body of the old man lying on his side while embracing his knees.
Uh?!
Zhang Yu subconsciously pulled back his hand. Though he had just touched a bit of the old man's skin, but his finger was like touching a very hot fire.
"What happened to him? He looks cold but his body is very hot." Zhang Yu took a closer look at the state of the old man in front of him. The sweat that appeared and the old man who looked tormented, not long after that his eyes slowly widened.
"A-what could this be the poison of ice and fire?!" The look on the face of surprise could not be hidden anymore. Zhang Yu could not believe that he could see the extremely rare poison directly.
Zhang Yu pulled the old man's body and sat him down. Unconcerned about the heat striking his hand, Zhang Yu only focused on helping the old man sit down.
After successfully sitting him down, Zhang Yu placed his hand on the old man's shoulder. "You're really lucky. If you don't meet me, you'll probably only last three to five more days."
Zhang Yu channeled his Qi into the old man's body, then pressed a few points on his body.
The old man who was sitting in front of Zhang Yu his state had been better since the Qi flow entered his body. No longer feeling cold or burning at the same time.
A short while later, Zhang Yu pulled his hand off the old man's shoulder and got up. "The ice and fire poison in your body hasn't been removed, but at least you can survive longer."
Zhang Yu knew the old man in front of him had regained his consciousness. Because before that the old man seemed to breathe a sigh of relief as he swallowed some parts of his body.
"Thank you so much young man. I really don't know what it would be like if you didn't help me." The old man got up and twisted his body looking at Zhang Yu.
Not too long ago, the old man then walked out and headed for the other prison room. "Can you help me free them?" please in a low voice.
Zhang Yu speechlessly walked out leaving the prison room. "Old man, I don't know who you really are. Also the reason you're here, no one can guarantee that you're not a bad person."
The old man disregarded Zhang Yu's words, he headed towards room number nine and raised his eyes to stare in there. "I'm very grateful to have saved me, but they were also exposed to the poison of ice and fire. If they don't get over it soon they'll be gone."
Zhang Yu also looked at room number seven and six. Sure enough, they were all in the same state. Although the condition of the previous old man was the most severe, but those in the detention room could not be said to be fine either.
Zhang Yu looked back at the old man, then opened all the doors of the holding room and took out the eight people who were inside.
The old man helped all of them to sit in a row, making it easier for Zhang Yu to temporarily stop the effects of the poison.
In less than an hour and a half, Zhang Yu successfully completed his task. The eight people sitting in a row seemed to have more radiant faces.
The old man who saw Zhang Yu managed to quickly put his hands together. "I'm very grateful to you. What's your name, young man?"
Zhang Yu slowly raised his face.
"Zhang Yu."
