"Karina!"
"What the fuck!"
"Oh my God!"
All the members of the Jis family simultaneously shouted at Jis's older sister, but she remained firm, her eyes as if blaming me.
Amazingly, I sighed and gained a calmness that was very much not me.
I clutched Jis' thigh as she regressed her chair angrily.
"Karina, what's wrong with you?"
"Jis, stop."
"No, Put, I won't let anyone talk to you like that, let alone from my own family!"
"Hey," I gripped her thigh again and I felt all eyes on me as I looked towards her.
I looked back at her brother and I knew my eyes betrayed my apparent calmness on the outside. I'm just so angry.
"First, and I don't mean to disrespect your family, Jis, how dare you say such a thing about your brother."
Karina was surprised and I continued.
"You are not merely hinting that I am an *******, but you also insinuate that your brother has bad manners to be with a woman who might take advantage of him because of his celebrity status or money, and he's fine with that. I don't want or need Jis's money. It's none of your business, but it's okay, thank you. I've never seen his film, but I don't doubt his talent. All I know is he's amazingly smart, honestly he's the nicest guy I've ever met, and he's handsome, inside out. I won't let anyone talk about it like that, Miss Karina."
I slide my chair quickly off the table and stand up.
"Snake," Jis clasped my hand and I squeezed her in.
"Is there a toilet near here that I can use to calm down?" I asked Lusi.
"Surely, in the left aisle."
I looked at Jis and then did something risky, looking down to kiss her lips. "I'll be back."
As I walked, calmer than I imagined, from the hallway I heard
their anger at Jis' brother.
Goody. He deserves all that.
I found the bathroom and locked myself inside. Leaning my hand on the makeup box, I hung my head, trying to control things. I know it's because of the adrenaline, but I can't stop it.
Maybe I should have kept my big mouth shut, but he made me mad! I don't know what he's got with me, but he's been showing hostility all night. And his last comment has pushed me over the line.
I'm sure her parents now hate me for verbally hurting their daughter at the dinner table. Although they looked more surprised than anything when it happened, and Denis had a wide grin on his face as I walked off the table.
Oh, how am I supposed to go back and face them?
I took a breath five times. The shaking started to subside, and I don't know how long I've been locked in the bathroom. I opened the door and started my way back to the dining table.
Before I turn I hear Luci's soft voice.
"Honey, he obviously loves you."
I stopped my steps and listened.
"Lady..." Jis will start talking but Lusi interrupts him.
"I know it's none of our business, but it's very clear how she feels about you, baby. Why else would he keep you like that?"
"He's a guard" that's Denis' voice, I think.
I decided to stop eavesdropping and walk into the room, realizing that Karina was no longer at the dining table.
Jis stood up and quickly walked towards me, wrapping me in her strong arms. "You okay?"
"I'm fine." I pushed him and smiled at him, then went back to his family. "I'm sorry for the way I talked to your daughter..."
Chandra raised one hand and stopped my speech.
"No, Put, we're sorry for his behavior. Please, finish your meal. Karina won't join us."
I looked into Jis's eyes and she looked nervous and unsure, her eyes looking for me.
"Okay."
"You sure you're okay?" whispered.
"Yes, let's finish dinner." We sat back down and continued eating.
"It's so delicious" I smiled at Chandra and she smiled back at me.
"I'm glad you like it."
"I like a man who can cook." I smiled at Lusi, who was signaling to me, and enjoyed the rest of the night
.
Jis was silent during the trip back to her home after dinner. He bit his thumb, which told me he was thinking. She hasn't touched me since we left her parents' house, and I feel a little worried.
"You okay?" my question, break the silence.
He glanced at me and scrunched his forehead.
"certain."
"Okay, great." I clapped my hand on my lap and looked at the city lights in the distance from my window. When we got to his house, the silence grew. He opened the door for me and escorted me in front of him to push me inside. He turned on the lights as I walked into the kitchen and put my bag in the bar.
I turned to look at her and was surprised to find herself not in the room. Where the hell's he going?
I frowned as anxiety spread in my stomach. Oh, my God, I screwed it all up. She must have been mad at me for the way I spoke to her brother earlier. Where's she?
Maybe he wanted me to leave, and he gave me space to pack my things.
I went upstairs and walked to her room, telling myself not to cry until I was home. I'm just gonna pack my stuff and get out of here. Then I can go crazy.
Just before I passed her bedroom divider, my phone rang in my pocket. I pulled it out and I got a message. From Jis
Jis, will you join me in the bathroom?
Huh uh?
I walked through the bedroom to the bathroom entrance and stopped my steps.
She has a large bathtub with an egg-like shape and the scent of lavender wafting in the air. There's a lighted candle on the dressing table on the side of the bathtub. Jis stands next to the bathtub using only her jeans, her top buttons open.
Finally, I found my voice, but all I could say was
just, "Hi."
"Hi."
"I thought you were mad at me."
"Why?" he walked up to me and clasped my chin with his thumb and index finger, tilting my head back so I could see his eyes.
"Because you've been very quiet since we left your parents' house."
"I'm just thinking." Her fingers were on my cheeks and she gently kissed me on the forehead.
"About?" my whiskey.
"Let's take a shower." Oho! I want him to keep talking.
"I used too many clothes to take a shower."
"Yes, it seems so dear." He took my jacket off my shoulder down to my arm and placed it on a nearby chair. She pulled my dress from the top of her head and slowly folded it and placed it on top of the jacket.
"Take off your shoes."
I obeyed him, unable to get my eyes out of him. She wrapped me in her arms and lowered her head to kiss my shoulder, while removing my bra hook and pulling it down from my arm. As he retreated, I hooked my thong with my thumb and pushed it from my hip, letting it fall to the floor. I stood in front of him and enjoyed the way his eyes glazed with desire as he escaped his gaze up and down on my naked body.
"You're wearing too many clothes too" I whispered and my stomach stiffened when I saw her pupils dilate.
"So is I." He unzipped his jeans and pulled them along with his boxer in one slow motion, leaving himself naked in front of me.
"Cabin." He took my hand, helped me into the water. I plopped down and sighed as the hot water covered me.
"You didn't join me?"
"Yes." Yeah." He stepped in and sat while looking at me, his feet on the other side of my feet, and leaning on the opposite side.
"It's convenient." It's an honesty. The water was soothing after a difficult encounter with her brother, and she was naked, which made things even better.
"Yes, comfortable."
"You're very monosyllabic (reply answered) tonight, you know."
She smiled shyly at me. "I'm sorry. I think a lot of things in my head."
"Tell me."
He shook his head.
"Oh no. What happened to your beautiful head, Jis?"
"I'm so sorry about the way my brother treated you tonight."
Oh.
"I'm also sorry for my reaction, Jis. I'm sorry I made you uncomfortable, and for talking like that to your family."
"No, don't apologize. He's gone too far. I had a bad feeling that she was going to act like that, which is why I called her last night."
"Jis," I lifted one leg and started rubbing. His eyes widened and then he closed them both and leaned his head on the bathtub with a groan.
"I don't have any brothers, but I can understand the desire to protect someone I love. What I don't understand is, why should it be blatantly hostile? I don't understand that."
"Well, something you said tonight is a little closer to the truth" he murmured, then opened his eyes and sighed, looking around and ignoring me.
"What?"
"The part about me being stupid enough to be with someone I know turned out to be using me because I was rich and famous."
I was shocked and dropped his leg. Oh, my God, this is embarrassing.
"I don't understand."
He took my right leg with his hand and rubbed his thumb over my tattoo, frowning.
"My last relationship was with a woman who was with me for all those reasons."
"Oh." I don't want to hear this.
"Yeah."
"How long has it been?"
"I decided it a year ago."
"I thought you said you'd never introduced anyone to your family." I put my head in the tub. I just can't see it when I feel jealous and nervous and unsure.
I stared at the ceiling, listened to it, trying to find the calmness I found in his parents' dining room.
"Why?" my voice was quieter than I thought.
"Because she was in the tabloid and said that she was pregnant when I decided to cancel our engagement."
"What's going on?" my head swung forward and I locked my eyes. "You're a father?"
"No!" he closed his eyes tightly and shook his head in frustration.
"He sold lies to those tabloids to get back to me."
"You're going to marry her?" I feel like my stomach has been kicked.
"Yes." Yeah." He looked at me carefully, no doubt he was assessing the reaction to all this.
"And you never introduced her to your family?"
"He was never interested in meeting them. Whenever I planned that meeting, something must have come up."
He shrugged his shoulders.
"And you didn't realize the strangeness?"
"I know now."
"Why did you cancel it?"
"Because he's not the best for me."
"That's a cliche answer."
"That's the truth." He shrugged, and then sighed.
"I guess I finally realized if I wasn't famous or rich he wouldn't give me time. He didn't like me to stop acting, and hoping to be a producer was just a phase and I would miss being the center of attention. She wants to be the wife of a celebrity, and that's not something I'm interested in."
"You're still in touch with him?"
"No."
I leaned back my head again and looked at my fingers that had been tangled. The water is starting to get cold. Time flies by as you try to maintain a quiet conversation about your ex-fiancee.
"I guess that explains a lot."
"Mad..."
"Wait." I raised my hand up to stop him.
"Give me time."
"Okay," she frowned and rubbed my legs again.
Why do I feel betrayed? And then it all seemed to hit me.
"I must have looked so stupid in front of your family when I didn't know about your ex-fiancee."
He suddenly moved forward and pulled me into his lap, ignoring the water splashing onto the floor and wrapping my body with his arms.
"You're amazing tonight. I don't know if I should be proud or feel weak in the way you keep me that way."
"You should have warned me."
"I know."
I ran my fingers through her hair and sighed. "We still have a lot to learn from each other."
"We're gonna do it, baby."
"When your sister talks about you like that, it drives me crazy."
He shook his head and laughed sadly.
"Ironically, what he's talking about is you, baby."
"I know, but he did it by talking about you, and I can't let him."
"Nobody's defending myself like that. You are calm and sure of yourself, and very angry. Your green eyes are fiery, and you look so pretty. I wanted to enter you right then and there on the table."
"Jis Khalifa!" I backed off and turned, surprised.
"That's right. You make me passionate, very passionate."
"I don't think that I can fit in with your parents, sitting at the same table."
"I don't think I care if Pope and Elvis are sitting at the same table."
I laughed and huddled on his body.
"Oh, honey, what am I supposed to do with you?"
"Whatever you want."
"Stand." He lifted me up out of the water, and then stood behind me. I couldn't find out how strong he was. He moved me like I was nothing. He draped a towel around his hip, and took another soft, white, light towel from the towel warmer and wrapped it in my body. He pulled me up and kissed me in, excited, before releasing me to dry my body.
Oh my.
He dried me up and down, absorbing the moisture
overuse. I couldn't refuse to move my body forward and kiss her breastbone and I heard her breath.
When my body was dry, I took a towel from around his hips and returned his treatment, enjoying the heady sight of his muscular body.
"All right, everything's dry" I whispered.
"thank God." He pulled me, his hand on my hair, and kissed me inside. I hugged him and shifted my fingernails down his back.
"Oh my God, baby, you're gonna weaken me in this bathroom."
"Good." I swiped his back again and he growled at my neck. She impatiently turned me around and placed my hand on the dressing table facing the large mirror above the sink. I looked up and was shocked by the sexy sight of Jis standing behind me, about 6 inches taller than me, Black hair and a bronze body, looking down to kiss my bare shoulders.
He cupped my back neck with his hands and down my spine, floated for a moment on top of my tattoo, saw the movement of his own hands and his breathing became even faster. She pulled my waist back so I bent down and I couldn't stop seeing her good looks, an expressive face when it touched me.
Finally he launched one finger down to my lower body and
put it inside me.
"Oh, Jis."
"Darling, you're so ready." I felt him put his head
his manhood was on my lower lip and slowly, oh very slowly, pushed into my body. Our eyes met in the mirror as he pushed further and further until it was completely buried in my crease.
"Slap me." Damnit damnit! Did I just say it?
"What?" he stopped, his hands on my hips and his face looked incredulous in the mirror.
"Slap me."
"You like to do this rudely, honey?" he grinned with a strange look at me.
"Not until I meet you." His face changed from inquisitive to a sense of belonging in a few seconds and I stiffened around him.
"Damn, Put." He raised his right hand and took it down my ass.
"Yes!" I twisted my hips and he started moving in and out of my body, clutching my hips. I retreated towards him and we found our rhythm. Finally, he raised his hand again and slapped my ass and it was so hot!
"Again?" tanyanya gasping.
"Yes." Yeah."
He complied, and I felt a tension in my stomach. My feet were clenched, and I tightened around him, the feeling on the peak had ripped me off.
"Oh baby, yeah." I was stunned when Jis closed her eyes tightly and gripped my hips even harder, her own achievements had pushed her and she took it all out inside my body.
She swept that beautiful hand down my back again, her breath still panting, and smiled at me through the mirror.
"I didn't expect you to like him so rudely."
"That's a new taste."
She pulled out of my body, and lowered her head to kiss the tattoo on my upper thigh, under my butt and I gasped.
"I think this is the sexiest tattoo you have."
"You think so?"
"Mmm hmm." He traced it with his finger and my back was shivering.
"Why?"
"Well, this looks so sexy."
"I'm glad you like it." I grinned at him, still through the mirror.
"I love everything" she said earnestly, and fell in love with her honest face.
"I want you to be happy, Put."
"Oh." I turned around and he stood up, wrapped my shoulders with his arms and pulled me into a big hug.
"I don't know what to do with how I feel about you" I whispered to her chest.
"We just need to get through this, baby." He pulled me back and gave me a soft kiss.
"Okay, I can do it."
"Good, let's go to bed." He lifted me up with his arms and walked to the bed.
"You know, I can walk." I laughed and pressed my face against his neck.
"No need, I can carry you."
"I love how strong you are."
"Do you like it now?"
"Yes. By the way, I have to get up early tomorrow to do yoga, and then I have one session at eleven."
"Okay. Want to pick me up for lunch?" he pulled the blanket and put me to bed, crawled up behind me and pulled me into his arms.
"Aren't you bored with me?"
"You're bored of me?" he turned my body so he could see my face.
"Well, no."
"I want to see you tomorrow, lunch. Please."
"Okay" I muttered and curled up into his arm to sleep.
