...----------------...

In three minutes. Rachel stares at the child in her lap and has no memory of how she and Elyana ended up in Christopher's car.

Owen, on the contrary, seemed attached to her and never left her side.

Rachel James noticed Dr.'s confused expression. Elyana and decided she didn't want to discuss gossip with him back then.

They soon arrive at Elyana's house, and Rachel sets aside the little creature in her lap and prepares to leave with Elyana.

Elyana took the initiative and closed the door. "There are no empty rooms in my house. What's the point of following me?"

Rachel James wanted to strangle that stupid woman right then and there.

Is his IQ eaten by dogs?!

He subconsciously looked towards Christopher and saw that he was also looking at him.

There was a slight temptation in his eyes.

"Are you afraid of me?" Chris whispered softly.

"You've been thinking too much about things."

"Where's your home address?" Ask Chris.

Rachel could not argue because she was too lazy. He tilted his head and glanced at the window after giving a series of addresses.

Owen's little head was lying on Rachel's chest.

When Rachel returned home, she couldn't stop thinking about Christopher's seductive gaze. His heart rate accelerated strangely.

Was it just a coincidence that he met Christopher and Owen Morgan tonight?

Turns out it wasn't a coincidence.

...----------------...

At weekends, Rachel James rarely sleeps because of frequent overtime, but that day she was woken up by the constant knocking of the door.

Rachel ruffled her hair and got up in annoyance. He opened the door, only to see Aunt Salma standing in front of the door.

"How can you be a mother? Even if a child makes a mistake, you can't force them out in the cold. If something bad happens, it's too late to regret it!" Upon seeing Rachel, Aunt Salma inevitably reprimanded her.

For a short time, Rachel was disoriented.

"Aunt Salma, can you speak slowly? What kid are you talking about?" Aunt Salma scowled at Rachel and stepped aside to reveal the child behind her.

The boy was Owen Morgan.

He was wearing a thin home suit and sandals.

Her cheeks and nose were cold and reddish, and she looked charming and sad.

When Rachel realizes Aunt Salma is ready to reprimand her again, she drags the boy into the house. "Thank you very much, Aunt Salma, for your kindness."

Rachel slammed the door shut.

He took a few deep breaths as he stared at the closed door.

He turned around only after a warm grin emerged from his face, he lowered his voice, and asked, "Honey, have you come here alone?"

Owen rubbed his hands together stiffly, lowered his head, and remained silent.

When Rachel saw her small stature, she remembered herself as a child.

She leaned over to pick up her delicate little body, laid it on the sofa, and wrapped it in a small blanket.

Owen looked at Rachel with crystal clear eyes, like wine and let her play with him like a toy.

That adorable little look had the ability to melt people's hearts.

Rachel wanted to ask how she knew her home address and how Owen got here.

He pinched his cold little face and suddenly did not want to ask anything.

After Rachel made sure Owen came by himself, she smiled and said, "Are you hungry? Aunty's gonna make you breakfast, okay?"

The boy nodded his head.

"What do you want to eat?"

Owen's small hand fumbled over the small blanket.

Rachel knows what she's looking for. He took a notebook and pen from a small drawer and placed it in Owen's small hand.

Owen wrote and drew it carefully and handed it to Rachel.

Rachel looked at the note in front of her.

Even though the small writing was immature, it still looked neat.

Based on those words, it was certain that there was nothing wrong with Owen Morgan's intelligence, and his IQ was also far above his peers.

Five-year-olds don't even know those words, let alone write them by hand.

So why isn't he talking?

Did he not want to say it, or could he not say it?

"Aunty wasn't sure if the ingredients were in the fridge. Wait here." Rachel said as she retracted her thoughts.

Owen nodded once more.

Rachel went upstairs to wash, face changed her clothes, and then cooked their breakfast.

He quickly put two dishes and a bowl of soup on the table, and he prepared an additional cup of pure milk for Owen.

Owen's eyes sparkled as he glanced at the food, so he didn't need to call Rachel.

He sat down with the notebook in his hand, patiently watching Rachel.

Rachel gave him a sandwich and a bowl of soup.

Owen ate quietly.

Rachel's feelings were mixed as she looked at Owen who was focusing on food.

Rachel softly said, "Honey, can you give me your father's phone number or your baby sister's?"

After Owen finished eating. His cheerful attitude suddenly turned grim.

Tears welled up in her dark and brilliant eyes.

He stood on the balcony, watching the Maserati car come with a tense heart.

Thinking back on Owen's expression, Rachel realized she had just done something terrible, and her inner shame was burning.

But he saw nothing wrong with his actions.

They only interact with the doctor and the patient.

When a patient enters the hospital, he is a professional and qualified doctor. When they left, his contact with them ended.

He did not want to be friends with any of the patients. He did not believe that it was important for him to be friends with them. He felt so guilty that Owen was crying.

When Owen learns that Rachel needs her father's phone number, he throws a piece of paper at her and rushes out.

Rachel doesn't go back down until Christopher calls her. He crept into a corner and turned to face Owen.

Rachel tried several times to go and hug her tiny body, but in the end, she did nothing.

He did not want Owen to appear out of nowhere in his life. He was not filled with emotion or patience. He can be nice to a young boy he doesn't know after a long day at work.

Especially with Owen Morgan, a child who obviously needs a lot of energy to be treated.

Rachel shook her head, returned to the living room, picked up the pathology, and began to study it.

The phone next to him rang after a long time.

Rachel pulls out her phone, sees it, and realizes that there is an incoming message on her WhatsApp.

Rachel's hand trembled as she stroked the words "Raphael."

He sat back on the sofa and returned his attention to the book, but he could not read it any longer.

What will Raphael Romanov do?

Does he want to return home to visit his old classmates, or does he want to see how pitiful he is?

...----------------...

Inside the Red Maserati.

Two men, one tall and one small, sat next to each other.

The air was so dense that it seemed like it would explode in the next second.
