Episode 25 - The Lost Forest

Review:

"So Hyun-ah, where are you?" call Ji Hyun once again. So Hyun completely disappeared without a trace of himself.

Ji Hyun sat down with both eyes staring straight out the window. He could see the end of a total lunar eclipse.

"So Hyun-ah." said Ji Hyun once again softly and palely.

So Hyun who had just finished wearing clothes, stared out the window. He stared at the moon as the light grew dimmer. Looks like a total lunar eclipse is going to happen tonight. The girl could only stare at the sky flat.

Then, he turned his body and walked towards his wardrobe. He opened the door to get something in it. When he opened the door, some rose petals fell from above and reached the crown of his head. The girl was confused. He did not remember that he had roses in his closet. Moreover, the color of the rose is not bright red, but a blackish withered red.

Because he forgot about what he was doing when he opened the closet, the girl finally closed it again. The front door of the closet has a mirror. Indirectly, So Hyun was able to see her reflection after closing the closet door. Both of his eyes widened as he stared at the reflection of himself in the mirror of the closet. The reflected one is not herself, but a girl whose eyes are missing.

So Hyun retreated his steps in shock. He was really surprised by the creepy reflection of the girl. The girl sat down at the end of her bed and prayed loudly, hoping that the figure of the girl reflected in the mirror disappeared. After a long time of prayer, the horrible girl completely disappeared from the reflection of her mirror.

"Fuh.." So Hyun's breath was heard when he found the figure missing.

But it didn't get there. Another person suddenly appeared from behind, and hugged her suddenly. Whether it was more fitting to hug or bump, because So Hyun's body almost slammed forward. When the figure hugged So Hyun from behind and let out his breath, So Hyun could not help but scream.

"YYYYYYY!!" screams loudly.

The person hugging him from behind chuckled and let go of his embrace. So Hyun immediately stood up and turned his body. Yoon-gi sat down casually on So-hyun's bed board. He looked at the frightened So Hyun with a slanted smile. As for So Hyun, he could only step his legs back.

Yoon-gi flicked her finger. The figure of the girl whose eyes were missing next to it reappeared and flew away. In the moment So Hyun was pressed like that, a voice only sounded smooth like a savior was heard. Ji Hyun's voice from outside her room.

"So Hyun-ah!! So Hyun-ah!!" call Ji Hyun in panic.

When So Hyun was about to reply, the horrifying girl suddenly hugged him from the front. Chilly. It seemed not to hug, but to squeeze the body of So Hyun who was in the arms of the figure. So Hyun's tongue felt faint to reply. Never mind saying, just breathe it's hard. Tight as his chest was tightly pressed.

Yoongi just watched leisurely without doing anything. Every now and then, the man chuckles at watching it.

'Damn it.' So Hyun said. His body feels very tight. He could not move his body because it was held too tightly. Yet...

With the energy still present, So Hyun slanted his own body onto the floor. However, slammed with the figure below. So Hyun's hands fumbled upwards and finally tried to strangle the figure. It worked! The figure disappeared suddenly. As the figure disappeared, Yoon-gi's smile disappeared.

When So Hyun was about to walk quickly towards the door of his room, Yoon-gi moved even faster. The man blocked So Hyun's room door with his body. So Hyun clenched his hands, preparing to hit Yoongi. Yoon-gi manages to avoid the girl's blow, and catches So-hyun's wrist. Then, Yoon-gi's sharp fingernails rubbed So Hyun's skin until it bled. However, the man did not let go of his hand at all.

"YES! SICK FOOL! LET GO!" so Hyun screams in pain. The blood started flowing towards his elbow. Bemoan.

Yoon-gi pulls So-hyun forcibly when the knock on So-hyun's room door gets rougher. Then, the man pushed her until the girl formed the wooden end of her bed. Somehow, So Hyun's mouth spouted a little blood. The girl was also confused as to how it could be. What is clear, his stomach that was bumped at the end of the place felt very nauseous and sick.

So Hyun coughed after accidentally spitting out his own blood. Yoongi stared at the girl flat as he continued walking closer. So Hyun still coughed and felt his own neck. It's like choking. Something like strangling him.

The girl took a deep breath and prepared to shout back. The door of his room was also heard. The door was already tilted further along with Ji Hyun's hard break.

"YES! Hmph! Eon.. hmph!"

Just as he wanted to scream, Yoonghi's hands smothered him tightly. He tried to dodge, but the sense of suffocation was getting terrace. The girl kept trying to scream for help to Ji Hyun. However, Yoongi's hands seemed to make the air around him thin. The girl's eyeballs were spinning irregularly.

In the end, So Hyun closed his eyes tightly just like that. Yoongi took off his silence, then sizzled cunningly. The blood that came out from So Hyun's cough was splashed on the bed, and there were some that fell to the floor. Yoon-gi smiles triumphantly and is satisfied. Quickly, Yoon-gi lifts up So Hyun's already motionless body. Then, he jumped out the window and disappeared.

'I'm lucky. Everything finished right the lunar eclipse was finished.' sat in while jumping out. Just as he disappeared like dust, Ji Hyun was only able to open the door.

'You are indeed being unlucky, Shin Ah Jung.' said the man again inwardly.

Namjoon galloped towards So Hyun's house. Since he also has a bit of the same 'strength' as Se Jung and Yoon-gi, he can figure out So Hyun's house. Although, he had never come to that house before. He ran as fast as he could, hoping it wasn't too late. Every now and then, both of his eyes looked towards the sky. I hope the lunar eclipse is not over.

A place in a simple house that was not too big he stopped his steps. His breath roared, to let out breath steam in the middle of the cold, moist air. Namjoon stared straight at a window of the room which he believed was So Hyun's room. Unfortunately, the window of the room was wide open.

When Namjoon turned to a tall tree branch, someone was standing while looking at someone. The man smiled cunningly and happily. Namjoon clenched his hands and stared at the person sharply.

"You're late!" yongi said, then disappeared from the branch together with So Hyun who was carried by him.

Namjoon sat in a tight position. It***its own hair. He looked at the sky that night, the moon was back as bright as ever. He's late. Really late. Worse yet, Yoon-gi manages to kidnap So-hyun as planned.

A beautiful morning to start today. Taehyung walks casually towards his school with a pair of earphones attached to both ears. Not usually he was like that, but the song played in the media player seemed useful to comfort his agitated heart. Fidgeting will be a dream that was –-horrible last night. He hopes he will still see So Hyun's face in his school environment later.

From a distance, the man saw a young woman staring around him uneasily. The young woman also looks to be waiting for someone who –may-be-schooled at the school. Taehyung slightly squinted his eyes to see who the young lady was. The appearance, facial features, and physique of the young lady looked very familiar in Taehyung's eyes.

Without hesitation, he stepped his foot towards the young lady by pretending not to know. As the distance between himself and the woman drew closer, Taehyung realized who the young woman was. It was Ji Hyun, So Hyun's older sister. Seeing Ji Hyun in front of her school gate, she thought that Ji Hyun had just delivered So Hyun to school.

He turned off the music, then took off his earphones just like that, "Annyeongghaseyo, Noona." Taehyung said kindly, but his face did not look so friendly. The man also bowed his body slightly as he greeted Ji Hyun.

"Aah!" The young lady looked suffocated for a moment. "ah! You're... Are you really Kim Taehyung?" ji Hyun asked without further ado. It looked like he was seeing a helper god now.

"Hm... Yep. I am Taehyung. Noona's looking for me?" taehyung asked with a slight nod of his head.

"Yes, can we talk to you for a second?" invite Ji Hyun with a voice that sounds very raucous.

"We can talk about this in your school cafeteria, I won't take you away. About the bell coming in, let me be the one responsible for your delay. Because I have to talk to you about this." Ji Hyun explained quickly.

Taehyung sniffed his breath and nodded. Ji Hyun could immediately comment on a faint smile in relief. After agreeing to the matter just now, the two of them walked towards the school cafeteria table. They're sitting face to face now. Despite sitting down, Ji Hyun never opened her mouth. The woman struggled a little with her anxious thoughts.

Not wanting to waste any longer, Taehyung cleared his throat slowly. Then, try to talk to Ji Hyun in a tone that she tries to be polite. As polite as he can.

"Ehm... Noona said she wanted to talk about something? Speak now" Taehyung said with a little caution, but did not remove his heavy voice. The heavy sound that seemed cold.

Ji Hyun looked at Taehyung nanar, "Look... Since I feel that you are very close to So Hyun, will you help me to search... So Hyun?"

Taehyung's flat gaze changed instantly. Ji Hyun's request to carry So Hyun's name made her heart break. His body felt tense and his palms were sweating. He rolled his hand into a fist. He looked at Ji Hyun who was also staring at him.

"Me... What happened to So Hyun?" tanya Taehyung was careful. Her lips felt stiff when she asked that.

"I don't know either. Last night, he screamed for help in his room. I was about to save her, but the door to her room was locked from the inside. I've repeatedly yelled at him to make sure he's okay. He also had a chance to scream in pain and in the end his voice sounded like it was silenced" explained Ji Hyun who stopped for a moment to take a breath.

Not only that, he left behind wet blood that became stains on his blanket and bed..." Ji Hyun stopped explaining everything. He looked down and started crying.

The young lady's cries were heard by Taehyung. The man licked his lips slightly and sniffed his breath. He thought back to the dream that happened last night. 

'What was that a sign that So Hyun was in danger, then actually left?' Inner Taehyung felt extremely miserable if that was really the case.

"Noona.." call Taehyung slowly.

"I don't know what else to do. I kept calling her name nonstop. There is no word from him. I don't know where he went. I'm afraid he was frowned upon and killed by a kidnapper or a vile yakuza." Ji Hyun rasped. Her tears continued to flow until they wet her cheeks.

"Noona, I don't know what to say... But, I will try to find her." said Taehyung who tried to calm Ji Hyun.

"..." - ".Ji Hyun was still drowning in her sobs.

"Noona, stop crying. Noona just needs to pray that So Hyun is okay. I'll look for him until I see him and bring him home" Taehyung said once again. Now, cold sweat had flooded his temples.

Ji Hyun nodded with a flushed nose. She wiped her tears with her handkerchief. He looked at Taehyung with a sad, shady look. His nose looks so red from crying all night.

"Before, I apologize for my request. This is the first time I've asked a man younger than me. I don't know why I feel like you're the only one who can find So Hyun. I've also asked some detectives to look for her all over the city" said Ji Hyun, who tried to stop her sobs.

"That's no problem. Fellow humans, without knowing the age limit, we must indeed help each other, right? Noona take it easy, Jimin and I will look for her." Taehyung said.

"I am very grateful to you." Ji Hyun said with a faint smile. Hearing that Taehyung was willing to help to find his sister, he felt a small burden lifted slightly.

"Yes, that's my duty too, right? It is my duty to protect the people I like." Taehyung said in a muttering voice.

"What's? What did you say?" ask Ji Hyun. It seemed that the young lady could hear Taehyung's muttering voice, though it was not very clear, "What was the obligation for?"

Taehyung straightened his body. She did not expect that Ji Hyun would hear her mutter. He quickly replied, "Ah! No. gabe. I just muttered."

"Alright then," Ji Hyun rubbed her face and popped her eyes slowly, then got up from her seat, "Thank you for helping me. If there's any word on my sister's whereabouts, you can call this number." Ji Hyun placed a stiff piece of paper in front of Taehyung.

Taehyung took the business card slowly. She stared at the business card for a while, then looked back at Ji Hyun, "Yes, I will definitely tell her" she said thinly with a forced smile.

"Yes. Again, thank you." Ji Hyun said with a slightly wider smile than before. "Then I'm gone. Again, thank you!"

Taehyung only answered him with an awkward nod of his head. Ji Hyun turned around and walked away from Taehyung. The sound of a knock on his heels was still heard in his ears. Taehyung couldn't take his eyes off until the sound of Ji Hyun's shoe knocking completely disappeared from his hearing.

When the sound of the knocking was no longer heard, Taehyung exhaled slowly. He stared at the business card Ji Hyun gave him. He sniffed again, then supported his forehead.

'I didn't expect that the dream would happen so soon...'

The break bell rang until it shrieked the ears. Taehyung clenched his hands tightly and got up from his seat originally. He doesn't care if his hips hit his desk or someone else's desk. His only friend could only stare at him in confusion. No one knew the cause of Taehyung's extremely cold gaze and attitude. The man walked over with a cold gaze that was so piercing. No one dared to greet him as usual.

He clenched his hands tightly when he saw Namjoon walking with his friends in a voice of laughter. Highlight Taehyung's eyes getting cold and sharp. Without further ado, he walked towards Namjoon's herd. Right in front of the herd, Taehyung directly pulled Namjoon's collar and pushed him against the wall hard, very hard.

Taehyung grunted trivially. He starts to slowly take his hands off Namjoon's collar. Due to the many inquisitive gazes from the students, Taehyung looked at the surrounding coldly, then said, "You guys are looking at what?"

After the man who said it left, the students who witnessed it disbanded. As usual, her name was definitely going to talk about something about what she saw with her friends endlessly.

Namjoon tidied up the collar and the triangular knot of his tie that had been squeezed by Taehyung's grip. He cleared his throat slowly and exhaled his breath. He hinted Taehyung to immediately follow him with a movement of his head. With the man's cold gaze, Taehyung followed Namjoon's footsteps with his hands still tightly clenched.

It was in this back garden of the school that the two of them stopped stepping. Taehyung looked around confusedly. Namjoon returned the puzzled look with a weary sigh. The man began to walk closer to the old pillar which was still sturdy but was already mossy. Namjoon stared at the old pillar with his shoulders beginning to straighten.

"Where is So Hyun?" taehyung asked, though he was puzzled as to why Namjoon looked at the old pillar so seriously.

"He's across the barrier from this old pillar." Namjoon replied quickly. He pointed at the old pillar with both eyes staring at Taehyung.

"Huh?! You mean.." Taehyung said in disbelief. He stared at the old pillar and the shady forest that became the backdrop.

The forest was indeed isolated by the school since the tragedy of the loss of 5 students who should be the sunbae today. The forest was isolated when Taehyung served as a freshman at the school. Taehyung bit his tongue slowly and stared at the lost forest he hated. He clenched his hand. It felt like he could jump right past those pillars, and find all his friends, as well as So Hyun.

Taehyung began to slowly relax his fist. He listened carefully to Namjoon's explanation, even though he looked indifferent.

"It doesn't hurt to try, does it?" taehyung fast. The man stepped his foot toward the mossy old pillar, then touched it with his hand still wrapped in white bandages, "I will try. Because I'm the only one left, right?"

Namjoon looked at Taehyung's hand wrapped in white bandages and a slight red spot. Namjoon nodded his head and confirmed taehyung's words.

"Alright.." said Namjoon.

So Hyun woke up from his silence. The pain was in his hands and throat. He opened his eyes slowly with his ringing voice. He fell asleep in a sitting position leaning against a dark, damp stone wall. The girl opened her eyes many times, then looked at the puzzled surroundings. Outlandish. What he sees now is very strange in his eyes. Like, there's no sign of life here.

He looked at his body in confusion. Her body was not wrapped in the pajamas she used, but rather a knee-length plain white dress. And bare feet. He looked straight ahead and there was a shadow of iron that stuck. He realized that he was in terrible iron bars. He tried to get up from his sitting position, but could not. His left leg could not bear his own burden.

So Hyun stood up with an unbalanced body. He lifted his bangs up and spread his gaze in the direction. Both of his eyes stopped as a group of humans stared at him. Surprised, So Hyun sat back down and closed his eyes. The group of humans started to approach So Hyun.

"No! Stay away from me!" said So Hyun who shouted at the fear.

The group of people continued to draw closer to So Hyun. When they were near So Hyun, one of them reached out to touch So Hyun. However, So Hyun brushed her off very hard and continued to scream in fear.

"Don't touch me!" so Hyun said scared.

"Kim... So Hyun-ah it's me." said the person who was about to touch So Hyun.

A familiar voice in So Hyun's ears. The voice of a girl who once buzzed every day. So Hyun stopped the roar and the beatings, then tried to open his eyes slowly. An overwhelming sense of surprise and haru instantly perched inside him. In Hyong, Eun Soo, Doctor Jung, Jimin, Gong Pyo, Mi So, and the others were looking at her confusedly.

"A... Are you guys still alive?" said So Hyun who spoke with his mouth closed.

In Hyong smiled sweetly and nodded, "Yes, we are not dead. We're just locked up here."

So Hyun could not help but hold back his tears. The girl immediately poured into the arms of her best friend who disappeared the most important. The girl hugged In Hyong tightly. The real Doctor Jung stroked the girl's head gently with a moved smile. Not to be left behind, Eun Soo also hugged her two best friends. But, Jimin... "I thought you were dead!" said So Hyun who started sobbing.

"No. Never mind, we just have to get out of here." said Eun Soo who turned out to start shedding her tears.

A moment in the foreign iron bars was only heard as a sobbing. Doctor Jung threw his gaze at Jimin then gave a gesture. However, Jimin shook his head indicating that he was awkward to let go of his taste as well. Moreover, he was a man alone among the 3 people who were hugging it. However, Doctor Jung forced it. In the end, Jimin exhaled and began to approach his 3 close friends.

"So Hyun-ah." call Jimin slowly.

So Hyun stopped his sobs and let go of his embrace. He wiped away the tears that had soaked his cheeks. The girl looked at Jimin who was slightly shaded because her eyes were still covered with tears.

"Jy... Jimin.... Why are you here too? B-how can?" so Hyun asked confusedly.

Jimin looked into So Hyun's deep watering eyeballs, then a smile rippled in, "How long before you get into these bars, I was also sent here. I'm stuck on the roof and that man named Yoongi framed me with In Hyong's spirit..."

In Hyong, Eun Soo, and Jimin rewind themselves simultaneously. Se Jung looks satisfied to see So Hyun who is already in his 'trap. The sweet girl stepped her feet closer to So Hyun. Then, he bent his body. He looked at everyone who was there cunningly.

Then he held his body up again and said, "You'll be coming with me soon."

Namjoon and Taehyung walked into the forest. There was no light there, except sunlight that was still able to penetrate into the forest. Because the forest was Namjoon's old 'house', Namjoon's eyeballs suddenly turned shiny. But Taehyung did not notice.

The two of them walked in silence, all that was heard was the sound of the friction of the shoes with the dry leaves they were stepping on. The forest felt strange and foreign, and the temperature of the cold air. This forest is very deserving of isolation.

"I think this forest will be filled with bats that fall there and there noisily like in most manhwa," Taehyung said while staring at the surrounding relaxed.

"That's right there!" said Namjoon who stopped his footsteps suddenly.

Taehyung turned to the direction Namjoon was looking at. An old building that was already standing on its side even approached the word destroyed. Taehyung threw a questionable look towards Namjoon. He felt unsure that So Hyun and his other friends were in the building.

"Let's go fast!" namjoon said in a hissing voice, but sounded resolute.

Namjoon continued his pace faster. Taehyung immediately followed Namjoon with a step that was no less fast. It seemed like their current steps were not worth to be called walking, it should be called running alone.
