We're Not Couples

On the way home, Zeline kept thinking about Daniel. He was very sure if Daniel would be waiting for him, he also kept thinking about what about the wound in Daniel's hand? Who will help him treat his hands and others? 

'What if he's waiting for me. What if he thinks no? Oh my God, why should I think about it. Never mind, never mind, do I want to get away from her?' inner Zeline was dialoguing alone in her heart.

Zeline, who had just arrived at her home, became increasingly nervous when she saw a man she knew very well standing leaning against her doorstep.

The man was seen glancing at the clock on his wrist then stared intently at Zeline who was stepping slowly towards him. 

Zeline was really nervous and scared, she felt as if she had been caught off guard by her husband because he was already wandering at night.

"Where are you from?" asked the man in a soft tone but coldly impressed. 

Daniel never snapped let alone angry at Zeline, Daniel's anger at Zeline was with his tone that seemed cold as it is today.

Zeline tries to be indifferent, after realizing that their status is no longer a lover.

"I'm tired, please don't bother me! What I've done in my life is none of your business" said Zeline, pushing Daniel's body slowly from his door and opening the door.

"Go! I don't want to be bothered" Zeline kicked out when Daniel broke into her house first.

"Where did I ask you? Same who?" ask Daniel again.

Zeline knows very well how Daniel behaves. The man will not stop asking questions before getting the right answer he thinks.

"Honey. I deserve to know. You are my only woman and forever will be like that, only you are the woman of my life from the moment I met you. I know if you don't like your privacy being compromised, then I don't. I choose to ask you. Where are you from and who is the same?" repeated the man again asking in a soft tone, dispelling his cold impression.

Zeline's heart trembled every time Daniel called her dear. Especially when the words of Daniel who said if he was the woman in his life.wanted to smile and burst into the arms of Daniel, but when remembering he should not graduate before Daniel proposed to him, but when he remembered, zeline finally tried to act cold again.

"One thing you need to remember, we're no longer a couple, it means I'm not your partner. For your questions, I went straight to my friend Hanum's house, with him. I've answered your question, now get out!" said Zeline again with full decisiveness.

It would be a lie if Zeline said she wanted Daniel to be forever out of his life, because in her heart she wished Daniel could fight for her. However, remember that it should not be weak. Zeline decided to lie.

"Yes, I want you to stay away from my life, forever!" zeline answered loudly trying to look at Daniel who was exhausted by his words. The man's hand that was holding Zeline's shoulder slowly descended. He rewinded his footsteps keeping his distance from Zeline looking at the woman with a teary look.

"alright. I'll leave if that's what you want" he said, turning his body along with Zeline's tears dripping and dripping more and more as the door removed the figure of Daniel who had come out of there.

"I love you, Niel. I just want you to say if you're going to marry me, say everything out loud and prove it. Why is it so hard for you to say all that?" zeline's cries broke again.
