Rihanna who heard Daniel's words was very upset, but still tried to hold back her anger and attitude in front of Daniel's parents. Rihanna likes Daniel, of course she won't make a bad impression on Daniel's parents when she realizes that only Daniel's parents can make him the daughter-in-law of the Sanders family even if Daniel doesn't want to.

"Are you so self-respectful that you're still here?" Daniel again stared hatefully at Rihanna who he considered as the cause of the increasingly difficult for him to unite with Zeline.

"Daniel!" snapped Eric.

"Auntie, Uncle. I'm home!" sahut Rihana with a sad face and teary eyes, made Daniel's parents feel very guilty for Daniel's attitude

"Darling, Daniel didn't mean it that way. Please don't listen to him." Ami tried to give understanding to Rihanna who had shed tears.

"I understand Auntie, maybe Daniel's in a lot of trouble right now, I'm home!" said Rihana running out of there.

"Go. Don't ever come back if you don't want me to hate you more" Daniel shouted so that Rihana could hear him.

"Based on a brat!" A very angry Eric wanted to slap Daniel, but not to the point of touching his son's face. Eric put his hand down.

“You made me like this because you couldn't give me good teachings. All you know is money, wealth, and dignity. You never taught me what family means. Because you don't know what family means," Daniel replied to Eric and Ami with a stab, leaving them both speechless.

"I want to marry Zeline—my lover!" daniel said again very loudly expressed his desire and it made Eric smile cynically to hear it.

"Married him. But remember. The day you marry that woman*****, that will be the day you want our lives" Eric said, leaving Daniel speechless at the threat of his parents. 

Daniel admits to hating his parents' attitude, but still as a child he loved both of them very much and it was also always a burden on Daniel's heart when destiny always forced him to choose between love and family.

"I don't like it one bit, I just love Zeline. I just want him in my life. As parents, why can't you understand what your child wants?" daniel asks who keeps saying things that are very piercing for his parents, but his parents' ego is bigger than their guilt.

"I beg you. Give me a chance to be with him. I'm ready to give up everything, as long as I can get your blessing. I beg…." Daniel kneels before his parents, staring expectantly at Ami and Eric, hoping for mercy from both parents.

As parents, of course, their hearts were touched to see Daniel kneeling just because of a woman, but their ego greater than their sympathy made them turn a blind eye to Daniel's perceived suffering.

"Papa has an offer for you if you want to marry that woman" said Eric, giving Daniel hope, which immediately sparkled brightly to hear him.

"Say! Tell me what is it, Pah? I will do whatever you ask as long as I can get your blessing to marry her" Daniel asked enthusiastically as he stood and looked at his parents.

"Make Rihanna your rightful wife, and marry her betrothed. You can have both. That woman can always be around you, but only as a mistress, you can't bring her to the public, because only Rihanna will be known by people as your partner. It's just Rihanna," said Eric, making Daniel want to hit Eric if Eric wasn't his parents.

Daniel laughed loudly at Eric's words, laughing with tears streaming down his face. His heart was so sore, he was so disappointed with his parents who prioritized dignity over the happiness of their child.

"I swear it in front of you. I'll be single for the rest of my life. I would never have married if Zeline hadn't been my wife. You can threaten me with your lives and I respect all of that because I love you. However, as parents, you will lose your child if you continue to behave like this" Daniel said, vowing in front of his parents who were increasingly angry to hear Daniel's defense was so great for Zeline.

"Daniel!!" Eric yelled, yelling at his son.

"You are ready to die to separate us. Then you'll kill me too if I lose him. When will you realize? Making Zeline my wife will in no way lower your self-esteem and dignity. You guys are so mean and I regret being born to parents like you!" daniel said loudly, looked at his parents in disappointment, then walked away from there leaving his frozen parents to hear his words.
