Debt Redeemer Girl

Debt Redeemer Girl
THE GPH 49

Roger stopped all his work when a message came in from Nazura. The woman sent a message if she is almost in Jogja. Without any prior notice to make the man flinch. Without waiting for a long time, Roger immediately contacted Nazura.

"Why did you go so far don't permit me just yet, Na!" Roger's voice sounded high and half snapped.

"I'm sorry, Mom. Because if it's permission, I'm sure you won't allow it" Nazura replied. Roger confirmed his wife's words in heart. He was not far from Nazura.

"But this is not how!" roger's Scratch.

"I'm sorry, Mom. Anyway, I'm only a week away and I'll be home soon. Mas ... I want to give time to you and Miss Rosa to be close to each other. I am sure that your relationship will improve. As long as I'm gone, stay with Miss Rosa. Poor him alone." Nazura's voice was soft, but commanding.

"Ma ...."

"Don't follow me, sir. Because I will take good care of myself. There's Devi who'll take care of me too. So, you just calm down." Nazura seemed to know what her husband would do.

"I'll catch up with you after my work is done."

"Yes, Mas. But don't force to follow. Then I turn it off first. I'll let you know when I get to Jogja."

The call was also interrupted. Roger rubbed a rough face. He was not sure if he could live his life well if he was away from Nazura. He wanted to catch up, but his work was still piling up and he couldn't possibly just leave.

Roger was required to be patient for several days until his wife came home if not until the work was completed and he could catch up with Nazura.

***

Roger no longer returns home to the apartment because he is worried that he will miss Nazura if there. After all, he obeyed Nazura's order to accompany Rosa. If it wasn't for Nazura, Roger would have been lazy to do it.

Roger's return was enthusiastically welcomed by Rosa. The woman was happy especially Roger said he would stay there for a few days. Making Rosa's smile since then expands perfectly.

"Mama's so happy you're finally home" Rosa said. The woman's smile cannot lie that she is happy right now. "Stay here to accompany your mother. Mom's always been lonely."

"Roger, don't you listen to mama, son?" Rosa's question made Roger turn towards the woman.

"Yes. I heard it." Roger answered tightly and then refocused on the phone.

"Then why don't you pay attention when mom talks. You're busy with your phone." Rosa quipped, but Roger smiled in a slant.

"It's okay. I'm just doing what you used to do. Didn't you used to be too busy with cell phones even when I was whining about asking to play together and you just kicked me out like a cat." Each sentence spoken by Roger implies an emotion and anger.

Rosa shut her mouth. Feeling even more regretful and unexpected if Roger still remembered all of those things.

"Better now rest. It's not good to stay up late for someone who's just sick." Roger got up and left Rosa.

He did not care even though Rosa's gaze looked pushy and asked for attention. As it turns out, it is not that easy to repair a relationship that has been broken before. Roger may have forgiven his mother, but all the bitter memories created since childhood made it not easy for Roger to get back close to the woman.

Roger's step to the room was reduced when he felt very thirsty. He turned and headed to the kitchen. However, his steps stopped when he saw Rosa who was still sitting in her place was seen being very serious about contacting someone.

With a slow movement he stood behind the wall and eavesdropped on the woman's conversation.

"Thank God he's gone. Looks like she was self-conscious when I said I didn't want her to stay here."

Roger was curious about who the woman was called by Rosa.

"Hopefully he never came back here and if he could get divorced from Roger soon. I don't want to have a village son-in-law and be poor like him."

Roger's blood seemed to boil when he heard Rosa's words. He walked closer with wide steps, grabbed Rosa's phone and immediately slammed it to bounce far away. Seeing Roger's whereabouts there, Rosa stood up and was very frightened when she saw the glare of Roger's eyes were very sharp and full of flashes of anger.

"Basic fucking woman!" snapped at Roger and nearly strangled Rosa before being finally broken up by the waiter who happened to see their quarrel.
