The question from Roger made Bryan confused when he would answer. There is a worry he feels. However, seeing the look in Roger's eyes that was so begging made the man suddenly not bear. 

"I'm sorry, son. Because all this time can't be a good father to you. Papa left you when you still needed affection. In fact, papa let you be your mother's samsak because he bore the burden of the mind." Bryan exhaled a rough breath. "Papa has felt like a failure long ago."

"There's still a chance and you can try it again." Roger tried to strengthen. "Just like what Nazura said, everyone has made mistakes and they still have a chance to improve" he added.

"Yes, but does papa still have that chance? Papa doesn't know how to win your mama's heart when she's first betrothed. The more papa tried to approach, the more mama solidified the fortress that stretches between us until finally papa chose to surrender and leave. Papa wishes your mama could live happily with the man she loves, but it turns out to be wrong." 

"Mama didn't marry anyone after Papa's departure. Doesn't that mean you're loyal to Papa." Roger was speaking the truth, not because he wanted to corner Bryan. 

"Yes, it was the father who remarried and betrayed our marriage. Really, papa feels more guilty" Bryan lamented. 

"Already, Pa. Let me pass and be a memory. Our task now is to shape the future and to welcome happiness. I forgave my mother because Nazura asked for it. What's wrong is we make up for each other and open our hearts to understand each other," said Roger gave advice. 

Bryan just said his son. He did not expect if Roger was that old. He was convinced that Roger's change of attitude was due to Nazura's interference. 

Ah, speaking of Nazura, he has not yet gotten to know his son-in-law and it seems Bryan is eager to get to know Nazura more closely as a child who already has mature thoughts. 

The attention of the two men was turned towards the door. They were shocked when they saw Nazura enter along with Rosa. Bryan's calm face was now suddenly nervous. He felt groggy when he had to look at Rosa. 

"You here, Mum?" ask Rosa. 

Bryan nodded quickly. "Yes, I'm seeing my son." 

"Em, mama only drove Nazura because she wanted to come here and was worried about being rejected by your employees" Rosa explained as she was. He did not care even though Nazura had already nudged his arm to give the code so as not to complain about anything. However, it seemed like Rosa was not that easy to believe. The proof, the woman actually smiled happily when she saw the nervousness on Nazura's face. 

"Gosh, Na. Why that? You just come here and tell me you're my wife. If they don't believe me, let me come get you" Roger said firmly. He got up and approached his wife. 

"If they still don't believe me and drive me away how, Mas? Yes, I have to scream and make a scene so I can call you" Nazura snorted. Puckered the lips to make Roger anxious and involuntarily kiss the soft lips of the woman. "Ish, there's your parents, Mom."

"It's okay. Let them want to and who knows to be together again" said Roger casually. It did not matter even though the faces of his two parents were already very nervous and stealing glances at each other. 

The four people chatted together, exchanging stories. In fact, Rosa and Bryan aren't as strong as they used to be. When Bryan was about to say goodbye, along with Rosa who also wanted to go home. Roger gave Nazura the code to stay there and let the two men go home together. At first Rosa wanted to refuse, but in the end she agreed. 

"Mas, you're not going back abroad? Or stay in Jogja?" asked Rosa doubtfully. He was trying to break the silence in the car. 

"No. I'll settle down here. I've bought an apartment and probably will manage my business that has been managed by others" Bryan explained. 

"Oh, I think you're going back abroad" Rosa said. 

"Why? You really want me to live abroad?" Bryan turned to Rosa at a glance then refocused on the steering wheel. 

Rosa did not answer, she kept her head and closed her eyes. However, Rosa flinched when the car came to a sudden stop and Bryan was already clutching tightly to her body. Bryan's car almost collided with a box car from the front. Luckily Bryan was able to brake and dodge quickly. 

"Ma-Mas." Rosa's heart felt paralyzed when he looked at Bryan with such a close distance.
