Living in a hard city

Asuna stepped out of the school gate and took a deep breath, enjoying the cool breeze. Suddenly, he felt that someone was watching him and looked around looking for the source of the sound.

"Tumben went home alone?" said someone in a low voice from behind Asuna.

Asuna turned her head and saw her best friend, Rina, standing behind her with a big smile.

"Asuna, I know you've always loved going to your friends' houses after school, but today I can accompany you home if you want" added Rina.

"Thank you, Rina. But I'm fine, I just want to go home for a while" Asuna replied with a smile.

"Well then, but let's not have any problems. You know that our city is not a safe place" Rina said anxiously.

Asuna nodded in agreement and continued on her way home. He pondered about Rina's words and thought about the insecure city she lived in. He wanted to get out of there, but he didn't know how.

Asuna continued walking alone on the road to her house. On the way, he was suddenly confronted by a group of gangsters.

"Hey, girl, where are you going alone? Looks like you need a friend." said one of the group ganster.

"No, thank you. I can do it myself." replied Asuna who kept her distance.

"Don't be arrogant, deh. We just want to help you. Come with us." said gangster 2 flirtatiously.

"I don't need any help. Please, let me go"An Asuna's answer is starting to panic.

"Ckckck, you see, he's getting scared right now. Come on, come with us. We'll cheer you up."gangster 3

However, Asuna managed to escape from the gangsters and managed to get home safely. He was very scared and traumatized after the incident

"Hey, Farhan. What are you reading here?"Sapa Asuna who is still trained in soy sauce.

"Oh iykak, Brother Asuna. I'm reading this comic again, brother." replied Farhan who is still focused on reading.

"Yes again, Farhan. If so, your schoolwork is done, right?"Answer Asuna

"It's a comic about the city's superheroes, brother. He can protect the city from criminals and provide security for the citizens of the city" Farhan replied

"That must be so much fun. I also want to live in peace and security just like in that comic."Asuna.

"Yes, I also feel worried every time I go out of the house. But we must try to always be vigilant and careful" Asuna said.

"Sister, I'm sure we can live this life well. We can help each other and protect each other, then I'll be a superhero I want to be a strong man and make this city safe" he said.

Asuna nodded softly at her sister's words, then she looked at Farhan affectionately, "Of course you can be anything you want, Farhan. But you know that superheroes in comics are just fiction?" softly said.

Farhan gave a small nod, then he looked at his brother with sparkling eyes, "But, big brother, I want to save others, just like that superhero. I want this city safe and without crime."

Asuna smiled at the spirit of her sister, "Of course, Farhan. You can be a hero in your own way. You can help others with your kindness and improve our city."

Farhan smiled happily at his brother's words, "Thank you, big brother. I will definitely be a hero like in the comics," he said.

Asuna smiled at the spirit of her sister, and in her heart she hoped that her sister's desire to become a hero could come true. He feels responsible for looking after his sister and giving Farhan and his family a better future in the crime-ridden city

The night Asuna heard the sound of the door being pounded hard, she went to the living room and opened the door and saw her father who was at the door half-conscious due to a drunken stupor.

"Based on the son of an idiot !! open the door a long time anyway." said Asuna's father with a snatch.

"You're drinking again ? Why are you always like this ?"asked Asuna who was a little upset.

"Huh? What are you talking about, Asunaaa..? I just want to relax after working hard all day." he replied with condescending Asuna.

"Looking around with a drink to get drunk? You think it's relaxing? You need to stop, dad. You must think of our family" said Asuna who advised her father.

"But you can't hurt your family with this destructive behavior of yours! I'm tired of all this. I want to go and leave you here to rot." Asuna said.

"I won't be like this forever. I will find a way to get out of here and build a better life" replied Asuna who let out tears.

"Hahaha, you're just a dream, son. It is a cruel and unfair world. There's no hope for a family like ours" he said, laughing at his son.

"No, dad. I believe there's hope, maybe this is why Mom left you." she said with a slight lowering of her tone.

Suddenly Asuna's father clenched his hands and directly swung a fist at Asuna's face

Asuna who was still enduring pain due to her father's blow, could only cry and be silent, her father then went to his room to sleep, at 12 pm Her sister who had previously slept, who had been sleeping, waking up to the noise from the quarrel Asuna and her father, Farhan sees Asuna crying in the living room.

Farhan approached Asuna "Sir Asuna, why are you crying?"asked the sad Farhan.

Asuna tried to smile and clean her tears "It's okay, Farhan. It was just a nightmare" Asuna replied.

Farhan shook his head "It wasn't a dream, brother. I also heard the quarrel between you and dad earlier" Farhan said.

Asuna smiled weakly "Not to worry, Farhan. Everything will be fine" replied Asuna.

"But I'm afraid I'm going to hurt my sister again" replied the worried Farhan.

Asuna hugged Farhan "Don't worry, Farhan. I'll find a way out of this situation. And I'll protect you, always, "he said, still in arms.

"I believe brother. Brother certainly can," said Farhan who supported his brother.

"Thank you, Farhan. You always give me strength" she said with a smile.
