"Sister, it's 12 o'clock. Can I go home?" neska asked nervously at Yola.
The woman with the waist-length mane looked at the timid-looking Neska.
"Nes, I don't think I can go home right now. Lots of people, that's."
"But, Brother?"
"You're fucking, are you?"
To be honest, it was not sleepy that Neska wanted to go home, but the circumstances and place she was currently stepping on felt very foreign. As for sleepiness, Neska even felt that it had disappeared instantly the moment she entered this place, just now.
"Sister, I'm not comfortable here. I'm home, yeah."
Yola seemed to understand Neska's state, nor did she intend to trap Neska with this situation. But he really needs a partner who can replace one colleague who entered the hospital suddenly due to an overdose.
"Yes, you can go home. But, anterin this one order first to the table at the end there, yes."
Neska finally agreed. He looked at the tray that contained several plates of snacks, as well as mineral water. Neska took it, intending to deliver it to the table that ordered it.
This time not in the privacy room but ordinary public space, but the table is in the corner of the room with flickering lights.
"Excuse me, here's the order." Neska also arranged the food at the table and it turned out there were several men and women who appeared in pairs.
The youngest man sitting on the sofa was watching Neska closely. He grinned faintly as Neska was still busy with the dishes on her desk.
"Hi, pretty," seduced the man.
Neska did not respond, she tried to behave naturally even though this was very unusual for her. Neska is afraid of his amateurish moves and looks awkward actually used by striped men in this place. Neska tried to be reasonable, as if she was used to the behavior of this man who teased her.
From a different side, Cean was stunned to look at Neska who presented the handlers on the corner table of the room. He noticed the girl's gesture that looked uneasy with her own clothes.
Suddenly a man with a fair look - stood up from his seat - while he was holding a woman by his side, but now it ignores the woman because her attention clearly turns to the beautiful young waitress who is serving orders on her desk.
"You're a new worker, right here?" the young man stood up and invited Neska to meet him. Of course Neska avoided the spotlight of the man. He looked uncomfortable, like in-te-lan-ja-ngi. In Neska's heart growling furiously, it felt like she had no pride in being stared at hungry by the basket-eyed man.
"Em, sorry, I have to work."
The young man chuckled at Neska's rejection as he was about to approach her.
"Wait!"
Neska was aghast when the man blocked her arm quite hard.
"I'll pay you tonight, make me."
Neska closed her eyes tightly, wanting to feel like she was cursing now, but she was afraid that this would affect Yola who invited her to work here. She was afraid that her actions towards this man had an impact on Yola's work. Neska herself was not afraid, because she would only work here for tonight, first and last time.
"Come on! Temenin I drink, ntar if I get more comfortable, we can continue," he said glancing mischievously at Neska and still did not let go of the girl's hand which was blocked quite strongly.
"Please!" hardik Neska, he tried to pull over the man's burly hand, but did not have more energy. "Sick," the ringisnya later.
At the same time, Neska had to glare when suddenly the man who was blocking her hand was hit from the opposite direction. Someone hit him, and the one who did that was none other than ... Ceans.
"Sir Cean?" Neska closed her gaping lips in surprise.
"Your dirty hands shouldn't touch her!" cean growled with hardened jaws at the man who had dared to be insolent to Neska.
The man who had teased Neska, was even very surprised by this situation. He took a deep breath then wanted to avenge Cean's treatment, unfortunately Cean gave him a sharp look as if he wanted to skin the man alive.
The man was still digesting the situation, he seemed to recognize the face of the young man who punched him, so his guts whirled instantly upon realizing who the man was.
"Come, Nes!" Cean immediately draws Neska's hand and takes the girl out of the cursed Bar that Cean determined in his heart - to never again step on the place.
"Sister!" Neska revolted because Cean no longer pulled her, but it was like dragging her alive.
"Sister! Lepasin, sick!"
That's when Cean realized the situation. He looked at her hand that was clutching Neska's arm. Cean hurried to release him.
"So why are you angry?"
Still could this girl ask like that, making Cean even more upset. Didn't you know Neska if she was in the clutches of the breng sek man?
"Sorry," said Cean, his voice began to soften. He stared at Neska's brownish netra which implied a stark sense of fear. "We're home, Nes. We go home," he continued.
Half way home, no words were spilled from the lips of Neska or Cean. Until Xenia's car entered the basement of the old Basement Apartment - her second residence - then Neska opened her voice.
"Why was that non-jok guy's sister?" ask Neska.
Cean stared in disbelief at this girl's question. Why should it be asked again? Her thought.
"Why, Brother?" neska Urge.
"Did you like your hand held with her?" Cean asked back.
"Of course not."
"Certain why? Why are you still nanya, why don't I punch him?" angry Cean. His voice intonation also rose.
"Why should you be angry? That's my question!"
"Because I don't like him holding you, Nes!"
"Why don't you like it?" Neska nagging back.
"Yes, because ..." Cean hung up his sentence, he did not know why he was angry that he saw Neska's hand held by the man.
"Why? Is it because you still think I'm a sister who deserves protection?"
Neska held back her tears. Honestly, he felt a sense of tightness when he remembered that thing again. How does an Ocean think of him as a little brother and tell him to be diligent in school. Didn't you know Cean, if Neska had such great affection for that young man? Why Cean does not read his gelagat. He's not good because he thinks Cean is like a big brother. Of course Neska wasn't that naive.
"Yes, Nes. You were a kid. You shouldn't be there. Work there. That's not worth it. What if a lot of men eye basket that seductive you? What if it's a striped-nose om-om?"
Neska almost escaped her tears. He complained to the ceiling of the car that had stopped it-0 so that the tears did not spill. Cean answered the question. Cean did consider her a sister, nothing more and would never change.
"Thank you for your brother's concern. Thank you, too, brother, for helping me out of that basket tonight. But two things you need to know ..." Neska took her breath in, deliberately pausing the sentence.
While Cean, he waited for what Neska would say next.
"... First, I'm not a child anymore, brother. Do you think a kid can get into that bar? I was 17 years old. And second, maybe you think I'm little sister, but .. but .. we're not that close and familiar as being brothers, sister. We just met and I never thought of my brother as my brother."
"Dis?" Cean couldn't believe that Neska didn't think of him as a sister. Though he had already asked Neska to take it that way, right?
Neska shook her head from her position. "Sorry, Brother. It is better to keep our distance from now on. Don't mind me if you only think of me as a child and a sister. Because Brother cares for me, it makes me more like Brother. Again sorry, yes, brother, because I already like big brother, so I will not be able to consider Brother as my brother until anytime!" Neska got out of Xenia's car driven by Cean after emphasizing her words.
While the young man, sighed in frustration when he heard Neska say everything. It was even more painful to digest the words of Neska who wanted to keep her distance. But, why would he have to be this hurt right now?
