Staring at her reflection in the mirror, Keisha looked unhappy even though she was wearing her bridal outfit.
Today is her wedding. Most days Keisha waits after 3 weeks of planning everything.
But why is his heart harder to live out his dreams? Red eyes and puffy eyes still adorn her beautiful face.
His mind is not focused. He can't think of himself right now.
Huhh ....
Keisha let out a long sigh, staring at her belly that had started to enlarge from a few weeks ago.
Keisha stroked the surface of her stomach gently, reviewed a wry smile and returned to crying in silence.
"Why aren't you happy, son? This is what you want, right?" muttered Keisha, speaking to her future son in a stomach salutation.
Clamps ....
A man walked in, looked at her who hurriedly wiped her tears with a tissue, and allowed her make up independently, quickly.
"Are you okay?" fauzan asked, looking at his bride who had difficulty carving a smile since morning.
Keisha was silent, unable to smile and just busy fixing his heart to be more steadfast.
"You, how do you feel?" keisha asked, staring fixedly at the two beads of Fauzan who were staring at him sourly.
"It's okay, Kei. Don't blame yourself. Aina who asked us to leave, just trust her. Everything will be fine. Trust him, will you?" fauzan said, trying to calm him down.
Keisha nodded, staring at the few people entering there with a happy smile.
"Well, the beauty of Mama's second daughter-in-law" said Mama Fauzan, commenting on a wide smile, as if welcoming Keisha well.
Keisha did the same right, being familiar and reviewing the beautiful smile in front of them, just not wanting to embarrass her Mother-in-law in front of her friends.
"Yes, your daughter-in-law is prettier. I'd rather see this one than the first one" chirped one woman, short-haired.
Keisha instantly lost her smile, as did Fauzan who immediately threw a cold look at her.
Fatimah only smiled wryly, responding to the scorn of one of her friends, to her first daughter-in-law, Aina.
Keisha looked at her deeply, making the few people in front of her feel awkward about the change in her expression.
"What do you like about me? Because beautiful?" asked Keisha, with a flat look. "Originally you know, I can not necessarily educate children as well as Ma'am Aina educate their children. I can't teach, wings can't cook, I can't do homework and I've never studied my religion!"
Keisha made those people swallow his saliva hard. "Then why do you like me more than Mbak Aina who is clearly better than me? Because face?" Keisha smiled knot. "30 years from today, this face will be just like you. Wrinkles and ugly! Don't boast of physical beauty that fades easily if it's not matched with money! The beauty of science is more capable of maturing children, ma'am!"
Finished already, Keisha made everyone awkward due to her frontal attitude.
Who would have thought that the person who should be the enemy of the first wife, would love Aina so much?
They misjudged Keisha simply for the reason of barging into the Fauzan family. As a result, they were the ones hit by the chili bomb from Keisha's mouth.
"I'm just saying, why do you look so arrogant? You don't have manners?" the short-haired woman folded her hands together in front of her chest, showing a hostile face to Keisha. "Did your parents not educate you well?" the chirp, made Keisha look at her even more flatly.
"Should you bring my parents?" Keisha looked at the wrath. "As a child who has no parents, I was annoyed to hear it. Why are you so disrespectful? Didn't I invite you to be a guest? Not someone's argument or comparison?" screeches, swagger.
Fatimah looked at Fauzan who seemed confused by Keisha's attitude who continued to try to corner Fatimah's friend.
"This matter will be solved if you smile. Why complicate everything?" said the husband of the woman, shaking his head in mercy, after criticizing Keisha.
Keisha smiled in disbelief. His face that looked annoying, made Fatimah's friends even more hate him.
"God, why should I get treated unfairly on hari– hemp!"
Fauzan smothered Keisha's mouth, and made the girl glare her eyes at the husband-to-be.
"Here you go, shut up, baby. Mama, please take your friends out and you've seen how beautiful my second wife is. We will immediately prepare to go on the podium to perform the wedding ceremony with the penghulu," said Fauzan, asking Fatimah.
Fatimah nodded and took her friends out of the bride's room, immediately.
Clap ....
Fauzan closed the door, looking at Keisha who was angry at him with a tired look.
"Why are you arguing with them? Already know if they are parents of many opinions like the debater, but still you continue," complained Fauzan, shaking his head mercifully.
Keisha only snorted and folded his hands in front of his chest, turning his face away from Fauzan's face and revealing a look of annoyance.
Fauzan was silent for a moment, smiling knots and approaching her with a annoying smile.
"Then, thank you for standing up for Aina. I can't speak if my enemy is a chatty old woman like Aunt Dina." Fauzan stroked the top of Keisha's head, gently. "Good job, Keisha."
Keisha snorted, and said, "Huhh! Later you have to give me a longer vacation as payment. I want a week longer!"
Fauzan nodded in agreement. "alright. You're so chatty, Kei. Hahaha, interesting new life companion," he chuckled softly.
