Don'T Be The Antagonist
My Daughter's

At 12:00 pm ....

The sound of the door was heard opening Keisha's room, making the woman who was reading the book because she could not sleep, turn to the source of the sound.

"You're home, Mom?" keisha asked, looking at Fauzan walking into her room with a sad look.

Fauzan smiled wryly, seeing his young wife who still welcomed his arrival even though he had done evil on their first night, leaving him alone.

"Yes, Kei. Aina asked me to come home to accompany you. It's our first night anyway, but I'm leaving. Forgive me," said Fauzan, sitting beside Keisha quietly.

Keisha looked back at the book, not noticing Fauzan's face, who looked gloomy because of his guilt.

"That's not important. We're not gonna do the first night anyway, are we? We are not in a relationship that has to do it" Keisha said, clarifying his intention to come to this house.

Fauzan was silent, staring at Keisha who seemed to really not bother about it.

"Stay, now you're my wife and I should be fair to you. Even if we can't sleep together, at least I can accompany you all night" Fauzan explained, in a soft tone.

"It doesn't need to be like that, Mom. I know you are sad to see Nuri's condition. I understand, and you shouldn't go home if you're just showing off that expression to me" Keisha chirped, sighing deeply and turning her eyes to Fauzan. "You haven't told Nuri how things are and even telling stories isn't as important as that. Hahh .. I got kind of pissed off," he chirped, really looking annoyed.

Fauzan fell silent, looking at Keisha's face that looked real upset because of her.

"The queen is not okay. It's very bad." Fauzan lowered his head, commenting on the wry smile that looked painful. "The doctor said, we must prepare the heart for the worst of tonight."

Keisha was silent with trembling lips. There was no sentence he could utter after hearing the bad news.

"But Aina and I have done it all. We chose sincerely for whatever circumstances, for the future," said Fauzan, gulping his hard saliva as he watched Keisha begin to cry silently beside him.

"Reason?" Keisha looked at Fauzan with a sick look. "Because you sound like you want Nuri dead, so tell me why, Mas. What reason?" he asked, repeatedly.

"Because we are aware, fighting is very painful for Nuri. Surviving in that state, it was very painful." Fauzan lowered his head, recalling his wife's expression as he said the sentence he was currently saying to Keisha.

Keisha could not escape, he knew it was like he had to recover from illness. Although he only broke a bone first, but rehab to be able to walk again was very torturous.

He could not imagine Nuri's condition of having to learn about everything when she woke up from her coma.

Withstood the pain, gave up her legs which were difficult to walk, endured the pain in each of her organs, and slowly became tight from enduring the pain.

Keisha covered her face with the book, lowered her head deeply and cried with a loud voice there.

Fauzan was silent, not daring to touch Keisha carelessly, because the woman had reminded him that their relationship was not a husband-wife relationship in general.

In the hospital hallway, right in front of Nuri's room. Two boys were sitting staring at each other, with a sad look.

"Drink." Alva gave a can of drink to Izra who had been silent and showed no emotion, except for his sad look.

Izra received the thing and instantly finished it in one gulp.

Alva shook her head mercifully, sat down next to her and stared out the window, blankly.

"Do you know what's going to happen to her tonight?" asked Izra, without looking at the interlocutor.

"Yes, I know. And I have prepared my heart for it. Mama and Dad are the same, they have also prepared their hearts for it. I hope you're jug–" Alva's remark came to a halt as Aina exited Nuri's room with unstoppable tears.

Alva and Izra got up from the spot, walked quickly towards the Mother and hugged her without saying much.

There were no words coming out of their mouths only the cries and the ugly sight the two children saw, which accompanied their grievous cries.

The blue lips with pale face were still clearly plastered in both Izra and Alva's eyes.

The figure of Nuri who was lying on his bed without life, imprinted so strongly on their memories, starting that second.

The 10-year-old daughter will now decide on her childhood memories today, along with them.

Leaving his family without greeting or saying goodbye politely. The sobs that sounded from Aina, were poignant in the ears of Alva and Izra.

The doctor removed the infusion and breathing apparatus from Nuri's body, covered the white cloth from the tip of his foot to the tip of his head, making the girl's shape no longer visible from their sight.

Alva stuck her eyes on Aina's shoulder, crying silently and without daring to see how her younger sister's current figure was.

The day after they get a new family member, at the same time, they also have to let go of one member of their family.

Happiness is only left when the sun is still rising and is lost with the dawn.

The cries of the three of them did sound soft, but it instead made the wounds in their hearts hollow without a bottom.
