Then everyone except Eve came out of the room and closed the door. Zack sat in a bucket of holy water. Eve could see how, the Devil's body reacted when dipping the tip of his toe into the water. It was as if there were needles stuck in every pore of his skin. But Zack didn't fight!! He dared to put both feet even sitting cross-legged in a bucket of holy water.

There was a scream of unbearable pain from Zack's lips. He felt his entire body boiling from the tip of his foot to the tip of his head. As powerful...Zack endured all the pain. If only Satan could cry, tears would now be dripping from both of his eyelids. Amarru carried a bowl of wood containing holy water that was smeared towards Zack.

“For mankind” Eve replied while nodding though she did not know what to do if it really happened. Eve stared fixedly at Zack who was still calmly closing her eyes even though each stroke of the Devil Man's face told her how painful she was right now.
Yes, if a Devil like Zack is willing to sacrifice why as a human Eve is not able to make the same sacrifice?
“drink Zack..Hopefully you can pass it” Amarru said as he thrust the bowl towards Zack. The Devil Man took the bowl and brought it closer to his lips but was restrained.
He turned to Eve, the first human he had believed in while he was a Devil. The girl smiled wryly realizing the Devil's gaze. Eve nodded her head asking the Devil to drink the holy liquid immediately.

Each gulp, making the sensation of the Devil difficult to swallow holy water. Like drinking hot water, in which there are many thorns. The thorns go into the esophagus, creating an unbearable pain.
Zack stopped gulping, he seemed to be suffocating!! How not? It felt..., the thorns stuck into the esophagus even as he tried to swallow the holy water again, instead of disappearing but just increasing in number!!

The cry of a Devil named Zack reverberated fortunately, inside the soundproof room. Armian clutches Zack's left arm while Eve attempts to reclaim the holy water but Zack rebelled. Zack's bead turned as red as blood he struggled to break free from the clutches of the two humans beside him.
“How can I return my good favor to you? I got rid of the humans who always hurt you but now you're turning around to torture me?!” yelled Zack blindly.
“Don't be affected!! Just do what you do!! We don't have much time!!” Amarru warns Eve that Zack is starting to get a little affected. Eve's grip loosened until Zack was able to pull Eve, catapulting Amarru away from Eve.
