For the Last Time

“Wow!! It's cool like being inside a limber human body” kekeh Haruko feels very comfortable.

Arriving down there, Kenatt and Ferghus asked the others to quietly wait for the next command. While the two of them, Kenatt and Ferghus, examined the room that when they first arrived, was the quarantine room as well as the mortuary room.

The sound of the door slowly opening and inside was empty. They must have hidden or even destroyed the bodies. Ferghus codes for all the mannequins to follow him and Kenatt.

“Eject the weapon now” Armian asked Eve. The girl immediately opened the drawing sheet of Armian's design and coded for Armian to touch the picture.

“He could be a guide jalan” Dimitri whispered to Kenatt. Quietly, together followed the assistant. The assistant suddenly stopped stepping and looked back.

“Why is this place so scary since there are many dead people in this place?” the assistant muttered speeding up his footsteps.

He did not know that above the ceiling of the building, precisely above his head, hung the living candle mannequins. They looked like they thought of themselves as a pedicab. They were forced to stop when the assistant walked into a room. The mannequins jumped down, watching the movements of the people who were cooperating with the Doctor.

“Are we going to infiltrate? Find out if the Android is in it or not?” Riche looked around for the commander's answer.

“There is more exciting than that. After all no one will realize we are mannequins right?” kenatt answered and asked Zack.

“You guys look like normal humans in their eyes. Don't hesitate” Zack's response while raising both eyebrows.

“Let's split up, then gather in front of the room that used to be a quarantine place. Make sure all teams make as much mess as possible until the whole of Android comes out of the rat hole even” Kenatt said showing his sneaky grin.

They split up, looking for a point where Android's most likely to hide. The first group, Haruko, Ferghus and Anastasya run towards the unused laboratory. The second group, Eldert, Adeline, and Charlie run to a lab where Doctor Allan is actually experimenting with artificial intelligence technology.

The third group, Dante, Eve and Dimitri, ran to a nearby warehouse, with a storage room for archival research data. The last group, Kenatt, Riche and Armian they chose to remain in front of the microbiology laboratory. The countdown begins.

Kenatt activated the countdown time on each hour that the team leaders wore.

Big explosions occurred as they acted. Sure enough the Android popped up as a lab security protection protocol. They ran, chasing the candle mannequins. In accordance with the commanding officer's direction, the entire team had to gather at one point. In front of the door of the former quarantine room.

If they were to shoot at an Android or slash it, it would most likely harm the humans around them within a 5 radius because for sure, after the humans working as the assistants of Doctor Allan were injured and infected, he said, it will mingle with patients in nearby hospitals and, if accidentally infected human wounds hit the limbs of other uninfected patients, the spread of deadly bacteria will be uncontrollable.

So they thought using a blunt sword, was the most appropriate thing to buy time.

“Courageous enough. The more you cut your tails, the greater your courage” praised Doctor Allan to the wax mannequins made by Eve.

Doctor Allan and his entire Android robot will not be able to get out of the basement forever. Whisper Eve's heart while smiling cynically.

“Zack...” hiss Eve was warmly welcomed by the Devil, who unhesitatingly continued to surround Android and its Master at one point repeatedly. “Where is Zack?” Eve immediately searches for Zack's whereabouts.

“Since I didn't see him come home here” said Hisashi began to worry.

“Maybe on the way here suddenly appeared a piece of Zack's memory, isn't that good news if he starts to remember a place, which he had visited before his death?” hisashi tries to think positively.

“You can do the usual Zack thing, why are you knocking on the door?” ask Eve astonishment.

“My power as a Devil disappears. Even I couldn't make it in the blink of an eye to go straight home. I had to take public transportation to get here. I'm tired can I sit?” answer Zack lethargic.

“What's this because he's expending too much of Hisashi's energy?” ask Eve very seriously.

“He said tired earlier?” Hisashi replies while trying to see what happened to Zack.

“She fully returns to being a dead spirit instead of a Devil. Did you, have met anyone in your past?” ask Hisashi to investigate.

“Before I go home, I see a hospital. It's the same hospital as the shadow of my past” replied Zack pouting.

“But there are no little girls in my past there” murmured Zack frustrated. Soon after, Haruko, Dante, and Eldert return to their respective countries. Zack stared flatly at the return of the three people.

“You want to go home, but don't know where to go? Come on, let's find out your past” bargained Eve while extending a hand to Zack. Now Zack becomes an untouchable ghost so Eve is a little sad to know the current state of Zack. Hisashi cleared his throat asking for the attention of the two.

“I tried to help. Zack facing towards me” Hisashi command.

“Close your eyes. Try to remember your past well, feel the presence of that person much more clearly, and real.” Hisashi orders.

Why did Zack go back to the hospital? at the hospital, Zack recalls his past.

“Come on a snowy night!! Although I, every day have trouble meeting Brother, if Brother comes in the night of snow falling, all will be sorry!!” shouted a little girl, who was sitting in a wheelchair while waving to a teenage boy.

“Mar...Margaret...” is dying, Zack sees his brother who is seriously ill, being hit by a car. Zack immediately opened his eyes as he broke into tears. Zack enlists Kenatt's help to sketch a face.

The face of the boy who hit his sister Margaret. In his last consciousness before he actually died, Zack saw the attacker get out of his car and scream hysterically. Kenatt drew the perpetrator's face according to Zack's direction after it was finished, Eve widened her eyes.

“Valdo?” all eyes were on Eve.

“Bring me to him” said Zack, full of requests. Eve accompanied by Dimitri finally went home to see her family.

“Eve!!” the mother was happy to see the child who suddenly disappeared without news, returning home.

“Kak Valdo's. What..., have you been involved in an accident? Sister...., have you ever hit someone?” eve's question made Mother and Valdo tense up.

“You remember something Eve?” ask Valdo.

Dimitri, Eve and Zack sat quietly on the lip of the lake. No words, no sound. Until one of them tries to start a conversation.

“Are you happy during your life with Tamara and Valdo?” zack's voice sounded soft. Eve turns to Zack, who turns out to be her older brother. He smiled and then nodded slowly.

“I'm very...very dear to them since childhood. Like you, loving Margaret” that happy smile is now a happy cry.

“Now I can calmly leave you” said Zack as he gently rubbed Eve's hair despite the girl, feeling nothing.

“What will we meet again?” ask Eve resigned.

“Just pray we can regroup” said Zack who is getting longer, fading. Zack disappeared with a peaceful smile that shone bright. Eve could not help but cry Dimi tried to calm her down with a hug.

Two years later, Hisashi comes to meet Eve and Dimi with someone. That person smiled at Eve, soft as if he had not met for a long time.

“Name Sammy. He was in a coma for three years and woke up as your brother Zack. Let's just say this is a second chance for you guys” stressed Hisashi to be happy.
