Double Cultivation

Double Cultivation
a better gift

Normally, when a cauldron exploded, it would send out shock waves of Profound Qi which left anyone within a certain distance, leaving them unable to react and vulnerable for a split second, leaving them unable to react, and in rare circumstances, it even makes people faint.

If inexperienced, the Alchemy Master behind the cauldron was unable to react milliseconds and received serious injuries – sometimes even the shards stamped on them.

Su Yang looked at the scattered pieces from the cauldron on the floor with a smile on his face. After spending quite a lot of time with his friend, who would occasionally break the kettle despite his deep mastery in Alchemy, he was, he eventually becomes immune to the shock waves he causes and learns how to react to them purely from his instincts.

Su Yang waved his sleeve, and the pieces scattered on the floor suddenly swept over himself, leaving it for Zhu Mengyi to clean up tomorrow.

Zhu Mengyi directly met Matriak Zhu after leaving Su Yang's place to share her experience today – and to complain.

"You didn't tell me that he never agreed to teach me! I almost made myself a fool today!" he said with annoyance.

"But you still managed to get him to teach you in the end, right?" Matriak Zhu almost burst into laughter.

"That's not the problem here!"

"Don't think about small problems. At least he'll teach you."

"Hmmm!" Zhu Mengyi let out a cold snort.

"By the way, how's that? Did you learn anything?"

"…"

"All I did today was try to concoct the Earth's progress pill."

"Earth's Progress Pill? Did you choose this pill or …"

"He took it for me, and it was his first choice, not to mention he didn't even hesitate, almost like he knew that I needed help with the pills the most" he said.

"Interesting ..." Matriarch Zhu pondered to herself calmly.

"What's the outcome? At least it came out right?"

"It exploded."

"Huh?" Matriak Zhu's eyes widened at his words, his heart feeling uneasy.

"I made a mistake and the cauldron exploded!" said mengyi casually

"You!!!" Matriak Zhu stood up in shock after learning about the accident. "I swear to Heaven if he—"

"He's fine! Forget about getting hurt, not even a scratch on his robe!"

"It is so .." Matriak Zhu heaved a sigh of relief after hearing that Su Yang was unharmed and sat back down. It would be very dangerous not only him but the entire Sect if he was harmed because one of their disciples – let alone their Main Disciple.

"By the way, he told me to come back tomorrow, and I'm here because I need a new cauldron because the old one went to pieces" he said

"You – this is the eighth cauldron you have destroyed this year! Do you think I have a supply of cauldrons that are not limited to that quality ?! You are not only talented in Alchemy but also in destroying cauldrons!"

"The mistakes happened" he said casually.

However, despite his frustration, Matriak Zhu still took out a new cauldron for him.

"Don't misunderstand me! If it wasn't for our guests, I wouldn't have done this!"

Zhu Mengyi happily accepted her new cauldron.

"I'll tell you again tomorrow!" he told her before he left.

"Don't bother coming back if you're looking for a new cauldron because this will be the last one!"

Matriak Zhu's voice loudly echoed from his back as he left the place.

When Su Yang returned to his own room after leaving the Cauldron Room, he was very surprised by the scenery inside his room.

"Master! I'm done with all those scrolls! Reward me now!" Xiao Rong jumped in delight after returning.

Su Yang was sure that he had at least a hundred scrolls prepared before leaving him alone, enough materials to last an entire day, yet in the short eight hours, he managed to complete them all?

After confirming that he had indeed completed all one hundred scrolls, Su Yang said, "Alright, I will give you your present now."

However, when Xiao Rong saw that he was just letting her suck his finger, he shook his head and raised his own hand, and said, "I want this gift."

"…"

With a defeated smile, Su Yang sighed, "Right, I did say that I would consider that as your gift …"

Su Yang then approached her and grabbed her small hand.

"Because you are transcending and studying, I will give you a better gift than just licking your finger—"

Right after he finished saying those words, he opened his mouth and touched Xiao Rong's palm with the tip of his tongue, where he focused his Profound Qi.

Then, using that power, he gently moved his tongue around his arm, stroking his tongue against his delicate skin until he reached his neck.

Xiao Rong's body trembled from the new experience, and he could feel a tingling sensation all over his body, especially the area around his feet. Although she did not understand the feeling of passion, she understood that it was a pleasant feeling and she wanted to experience more of this feeling.

"Meooow ..." Xiao Rong let out a joyful cry amidst all this.

If he was in the shape of a cat then all his fur would stand upright now, like a thorn in a porcupine.

However, Su Yang did not stop as his tongue reached his neck and continued to approach his ears.

Instantly Xiao Rong sensed Su Yang bite his ear, a pair of silver cat ears appeared on his head, and even his cat tail appeared at the location just above the gap of his butt.

His immature mind went through too many things at once for him it was difficult to properly maintain his human form, and after a while, Xiao Rong turned back into a cat.

Su Yang looked at the silver cat on his lap with a smile and wondered if he was teasing her too far.

"Meooow ..." Xiao Rong released a voice of excitement before falling asleep on Su Yang's lap from feeling too relaxed, and on his face was a peaceful smile.
