Chapter 27: The Little Touched

As some experienced reporters explained that the first woman to rush out was not Lin Chuxue, one of the open lifts with the sound of “ding”. Then Ran Jing, whose face was covered in sunglasses and a hat, stuck out her head. This action was indeed quite an impressive one, making it seem like he was being cautious. Moreover, he was almost the same height as Lin Chuxue, around 168 cm (5'6) tall, and he had long legs and a slender figure. When he pulled out his head, he was quickly spotted by several reporters. Ran Jing immediately ran out of the elevator. She did not run too fast like a police officer, but rather like a quiet woman, and that small detail was what caused the reporters to mistake her for Snow White, Lin Chuxue.

The experienced reporters immediately chased after him, and the newbies of course followed everything.

After about 3 minutes, the entire first floor finally calmed down.

Xu Cheng then got off the elevator and brought Lin Chuxue out.

When they got out the elevator door safely, there were no media reporters or fans. Lin Chuxue took out her key and was about to go to the parking lot when Xu Cheng stopped her. "What are you doing?"

“Get the car?”

Xu Cheng rolled his eyes. "What car? The media may know everything about every car you have in your garage. Otherwise, they probably won't know of your whereabouts that soon. Today, your sports car in an underground parking lot may already be a car show for others, the most dangerous place today. I'll be driving it in a moment, but for now, just follow me. I'll take you to the company.”

Lin Chuxue looked at Xu Cheng. “You have a car?”

Xu Cheng replied, “Wear your sunglasses and helmet, and ride my inconspicuous motorcycle with me. Then, even if you were to shout to the pedestrians randomly that you are Lin Chuxue, I think no one would believe you. Just make sense, who believes that a queen in the entertainment industry will ride an ordinary motorcycle.”

“He said that you purposely let me rank first in the grades every semester and you are actually very smart,” said Lin Chuxue.

Xu Cheng smiled bitterly. “Now everything has passed.”

After speaking, he rode his motorcycle and stopped beside Lin Chuxue. "You are."

Lin Chuxue lifted the flower-patterned dress and wore it, not knowing whether to hold Xu Cheng's waist or not. His hand hesitated for a moment after extending out a hand before pulling him back and resting on his feet.

Xu Cheng drove quite fast, and this was the first time Lin Chuxue rode a motorcycle so she could not keep a good balance. “Slow down, you won't have a baby or anything like that.”

Those words left Lin Chuxue blank for a moment, and then a smile emerged from the corner of her mouth. He subconsciously grabbed onto Xu Cheng's clothes, as if they had traveled back to their innocent high school years.

Suddenly, Xu Cheng realized that Lin Chuxue even boldly raised her hand slightly and shouted in excitement.

"What are you doing?" Xu Cheng was surprised for a moment.

Lin Chuxue smiled and said, “You said no one will recognize me. The feeling of riding the wind feels very pleasant.”

Xu Cheng smiled bitterly and shook his head. After twenty minutes of travel, they finally arrived back at his company. While parking, Lin Chuxue looked at him and said, “You won't come for tea or what?”

Xu Cheng shook his head. “It's okay, just give me your car keys. I'll drive your car.

Lin Chuxue nodded, took out her key with Paddington bear keychain, and gave it to Xu Cheng. “Then... I'll ride first?”

Xu Cheng turned on his motorbike again, hovered 180 degrees on the spot, and left without saying a word, leaving Lin Chuxue gritting her teeth. Looking at his back, he almost cursed how disrespectful he was.

What really touched Lin Chuxue's heart was Xu Cheng still remembered that he liked cheese pizza.

In fact, while in the elevator with him earlier, Xu Cheng's sensitive hearing had already caught the sound of rumbling from his stomach, so he bought a pizza on the way, given that it was his favorite meal in England.
