CH_21 Trap

Xiao Bao tried to leave, but his legs were instead pulled by a rope that was deliberately hidden in the ground. Xiao Bao's body instantly lifted upwards. "What's this?" asked Xiao Bao who was hanging among the trees nearby.

A sharp bamboo weapon pointed towards him, ready to stab Xiao Bao. Xiao Bao panicked, unable to do anything. Moreover, the bamboo weapon began to take off and got closer to Xiao Bao.

"Arghhh, no." said Xiao Bao who closed his eyes. Obviously, he will be stabbed.

After detaching, Lin and Wan forcibly pulled Xiao Bao. He brought Xiao Bao out of the forest. While the Alpha dragon and the Light elf, continued to follow behind them. "What do you want to do?" asked Xiao Bao who was walking in agitation.

"You'll find out later" said Lin with a serious face. They went back up the mountain and to the top. There were many bamboo weapons in front of Xiao Bao. Xiao Bao's thoughts started to go everywhere.

"Did you two set a trap for me?" xiao Bao asked with round eyes, waiting for a response from Lin and Wan.

With a sigh, Wan replied and said, "To be honest, we set the trap. But, not for you but the rebels who are training in the forest. The trap was long established and no rebels were trapped. I was also astonished, how could they escape my trap even if you couldn't avoid it?" obviously Wan with a confused face.

"Does anyone else know the trap?" ask the Light Fairy who flew over.

"Only the two of us know, no one else anymore" replied Lin who was greeted with a nod by Wan.

"They are magical enough to avoid your traps. I was just overwhelmed to think I would die pierced by your bamboo weapons." Xiao Bao said as he shook his head. Panic and worry really took hold of him.

Elsewhere, five men came out of hiding. After hearing the sounds and shouts that were close by from the forest where they were practicing, they immediately hid and left from there. "I don't think it's safe for us to practice here. Maybe this is the last day we practice. Remember, you have to split up and keep in touch with each other. If anything is discovered, never open your mouth about who you really are even if they threaten to kill. How, gotcha?" ask one who wears a black robe and has only one eye.

"Yes, Sir. We understand." answered the four people compactly. One of them is a woman.

"Hey, You!" he shouted while pointing at Xiao Bao.

Their eyes suddenly met, slowly Xiao Bao saw a shadow from behind the female eyeball in front of him. A black shadow enveloped the woman's body. As a magician, naturally Xiao Bao knew what he meant. "Rudge," Xiao Bao said suddenly.

"Rudge?" she asked the woman with a confused face. He did not understand, Xiao Bao directly said things they did not discuss.

"I have to go," said Xiao Bao who ran away. He stayed away from the woman.
