Recently the governing body of football in Indonesia decided to conduct a new policy against league 3. One of them is the age limit of the players who can participate in the league 3 competition. The underlying reason is as an effort to develop and empower young Indonesian talents in order to feel the competitive atmosphere. Therefore, the decision to limit the age of the players to a maximum of 21 years began to be made.

This has certainly caused some chaos within the club. One of the affected is Maung Raja. Previously many Maung Raja players were over 21 years old so they had to get them out of the squad. Even the first two players last season were forced to be sent off which made their situation very dire.

The trial sessions organized by Maung Raja were in order to search for new blood to replenish the number of players. Fortunately in that trial session Handoko found some great players. At first he will only recruit three players namely Beto, Ahmad, and Andre. But in the last moments of the trial session, the goal created by Anton changed his mind and decided to recruit Anton and Raka.

What Handoko sees in Anton is his fast pace. He ran fast from the penalty box and managed to catch up with Raka who was in front. Handoko has a premonition that his speed will increase the ammunition of Maung Raja in attacking.

Different from Anton, to be honest he did not have a good impression of Raka, quite mediocre. If he is told to give a description of the game Raka he can say one thing.

Despite having the basic technique and stamina to run tirelessly he had very well, what made him look terrible was his movement, he said, his tireless run backfired because it gave a bad effect to his teammates for getting in the way.

During the match practice Handoko wants to improve the movement of Raka. The solution found by Handoko is to observe directly. It will be very difficult to observe if he is placed as a striker so he puts Raka into a different position every time he does match practice.

Raka needs to understand how his colleagues are moving, putting Raka in different positions as well so that he can observe up close and provide a better understanding. Different positions will get different views.

At first it was still terrible and Raka showed no signs of improving, Handoko also had time to doubt his thoughts. But today was different, he saw the changes made by Raka, slowly but surely he started moving to where he should be.

After solving one problem Handoko is faced with another problem. Yes, this is Raka's position. Raka's position is striker, but he has found the perfect combination of Beto and Alan. Even Handoko prefers Budi as a substitute, his ability in aerial duels is very good.

It was also a bit pointless not to use Raka's talent well. His accurate assessment will definitely help the team to be better, so he decided to move Raka's position. He hopes Raka will accept his decision, he can only sigh and be disappointed if Raka remains stubborn as a striker.

Raka's confused-looking face was now in front of her.

Raka expressed her doubts towards what Handoko had just said. He still understands that his competition to occupy the position as a main striker is very heavy road but he was also shocked when coach Handoko said it directly. When Handoko's voice came back he decided to swallow back what he wanted to say.

Handoko walked up to the whiteboard beside him and began drawing a soccer formation. He looked back at Raka and spoke

"I'll put you as an attacking midfielder in our team. You need to know if this goes successfully it will be amazing, I will transform you from a mediocre player to a great player."

Raka listened to Handoko's explanation that he wanted him to pair with Ahmad to set up the middle of the field. Handoko mentioned that if he and Ahmad will be the driving wheel in the team, Ahmad will regulate the rhythm and tempo of the team while he will be the regulator of the team's attack.

"Now everything I've told you, what do you think?"

It would be a lie if Raka was not interested in the big cake that Handoko described to her. He is very interested but also worried, this role is very big impact and he has never tried it. Now the decision is in his hands whether to accept the challenge given by Handoko.

Raka clenched her hands as a form of effort to make up her mind, she looked at Handoko with determined eyes and answered without hesitation

"I'm ready"

Hearing Raka's reply, Handoko nodded with satisfaction.

The following days in training Raka will be given a fixed position as an attacking midfielder. Although his colleagues often change, he is always paired with Ahmad. Handoko aims to make himself and Ahmad immediately build chemistry.

Unknowingly pre-season training is almost over. A week later they will actually start the league 3 competition. Conditions within the team are also increasingly eager to welcome him.

Handoko gathers his players who have finished cooling down. With a stern look he looked at the players in front of him while speaking

"The competition will start a week later, and the manager has given me information that a friendly will be played three days later to see the results of our training. Don't disappoint me and do your best."

The commotion of the discussion voice immediately sounded when Handoko's voice stopped. They talked about the match practice that would be held three days later. Beto raised his hand and asked Handoko.

"Coach, who are we going to compete with?"
