Elona's First Day as a Guardsman

In the morning, the workspaces of Ricardo, Vander, Lucas and Elona had gathered

" Lucas, is there any new information from your investigation?" ask Ricardo

" I've been to a place like a bar, too, the office of the investigation bureau either legally or legally and tried to ask the people around who knew the place where the teenage children were sold as slaves recently but they were all nothing knowing that" Lucas replied

" Are you afraid that this will lead to a war between kingdoms?" ask Vander

" Right, especially the kingdom of Merioa which has been our enemy for a long time and always trying to find an opportunity to start a war"

" When are you planning to go to that place?" ask Elona

" After the hunting ceremony held by the palace is over 3 days later we will prepare to go to the place I mean. We've had our discussion today, Lucas you can take Elona around the palace and introduce her to other fellow bodyguards" Ricardo said

" Okay, Crown Prince" The three of them simultaneously.

After that, Lucas took Elona around the palace according to the orders of Ricardo and showed the places frequented by Ricardo including his bedroom, because he'll also be tasked with keeping Ricardo at night. They continued to walk up to the training ground of the soldiers, there they honed each other's sword skills.

The training grounds of the palace soldiers, there were about 15 people who were training. Lucas halted their activities for a moment and introduced Elona as his new co-worker.

" All the attention, today we have a new partner who will join us in looking after the Crown Prince" Lucas said, all of whom immediately gathered to see Elona

Lucas signs Elona to introduce himself.

" My name is Elona Delaona. You can call me with Elona only, today is the first day I will join the seniors, I beg for guidance"

When Elona introduced himself Ricardo and Vander had just arrived at the training ground. Then they all greeted Ricardo upon learning of his arrival. Then Ricardo sat on the bench at the training ground with Vander.

" Las try you sword practice with Elona, I want to see her abilities!" ricardo's Order

" Crown Prince, will that be okay for Elona?" vander asked, whispering into Ricardo's ear

" How Elona are you afraid of my challenge?"

" No, I will try my best" replied Elona

" Commander Lucas you also try your best not to give up just because I'm a woman or your junior" he told Lucas.

" Alright, I'm not the type to give up just because of such trivialities" either"

Then the soldiers who had been training sat down with Ricardo and Vander to watch the fight between them.

Both of them took their respective preparing positions by taking out their swords.

Klang.klang..klang..klang..they both fight each other and fend off each other's attacks well and the fight continues until 30 minutes later with the state of the series, then in the last minute klang...their swords pointed each other's swords at each other's necks while sighing.

" I didn't expect it to turn out that your skills are great as well huh Dame Elona" Lucas praised with a smile

" Our junior turned out great to be able to draw in a sword with Commander Lucas" said the soldier who was in the chair

" Did you know from the beginning that they're going to draw in this fight?" ask Vander to Ricardo in a soft voice

" Of course, the person I chose couldn't possibly be so bad" by showing his pedal face

" Good work Elona and Lucas" Ricardo praised

After that they all returned to their respective guard posts, the four of them staying at the training ground.

" You will help me in preparing for the hunting event that will be held in a week. Lucas and Elona you check the safety of the forest that will be used as a hunting ground lest there are wild animals that enter our territory. Vander and I will give word to the nobles" Ricardo said

" Well, the Crown Prince will be at your command soon" they replied

" Oh.... Elona tonight you'll have a welcoming party hosted by our team of bodyguards as usual. We'll wait for you in the soldiers' dining room make sure not to be late" Lucas said

" Good commander" replied Elona

" Be careful at the party" Vander said

" Is there anything I should be afraid of?" the question to Vander, but Vander did not answer it which increasingly makes Elona feel curious and restless.

As night fell in the dining room the guards had prepared their dinner dishes and large beers, Elona entered the room and sat in the midst of the other companions. They asked Elona to drink all the beers that were in front of her, looking at the 2 big beers that were in front of her.

" Do I have to drink it?" ask Elona

" Yep, this is the rule here every new kid should drink 2 big beers"

" Alright I'll drink it" glup... Elona managed to drink 1 glass smoothly

" Are you still strong enough to drink 1 more glass?" ask Lucas worriedly

" Is there a rule that if not strong can find a replacement for volunteers?"

" Drink..drink.... Come on! Elona finished everything "the cheers of her co-workers

" Nothing but maybe this time it can be an exception as they are all strong men drinking" Lucas said

Then Elona took the next glass and drank it a little, then put it and waved her hand she gave up because it was no longer strong to drink the rest.

" The rest of the time let me drink it" Lucas said as he picked up Elona's glass

" Wahhh commander wants to be Black Knight" they said.

Glup.glup..... " Thank you commander" said Elona.

" It doesn't matter you're my junior" Lucas said

" Today you go home first, tomorrow you'll get night duty. Are you able to go home on your own with this condition of yours" said Lucas, who saw Elona staggering.

" Of course the commander"

" It's not better if I accompany you to the front of the house"

Lucas carried Elona on their way home. After arriving at his house Elona thanked Lucas for taking him with great difficulty and Lucas returned to the palace. Ricardo and Vander have been waiting for their return due to anxiety over the state of Elona after the welcoming event

" How's Elona doing?" ask Ricardo

" He's fine just not a strong man drinking" Lucas replied with a chuckle

" Is there anything that makes you happy?" ask Vander

" It's not important, it's just a joke of the guards who want to prank the new kid by drinking 2 big beers as usual but instead I drank the rest because Elona is not strong anymore" answer Lucas

"  It seems I just remembered that Lucas was very close to Elona in their past" Ricardo said

A week later the hunting event began to be well prepared both from the invitation to security. The nobles and daughters who participated in the hunting event sat in their respective places.
