Nothing hurts more than a loss. Second by second that was passed by Deswita, now forced to pass without Andika. Just the two with Kelan, Wita can find a little entertainment. The babble of his son, as if able to replace the pain that suddenly embraced him.
Slowly but surely, the drizzling rain fell slowly. Until longer, drizzle turned into heavy rain that managed to make Wita's mood improve. With rain and the smell of wet soil, so soothing Wita.
Deswita sat alone on the edge of the bed. His right hand rubbed his wedding portrait with Andika while in the village first. Wita wants to demand all the promises Andika has denied, but unfortunately, it will not be able to restore the situation.
Sometimes Wita wonders, what way should he kill his love for Andika?
A vibration on Wita's phone, managed to keep Wita awake from her daydream. Andika's been calling him for a few nights. And sure enough, Wita was always lazy even just to receive a phone call from Andika.
"What's wrong?" ask Wita in a lazy tone.
"Open the door, I want to talk" Andika ordered, with her distinctive style set.
"It's night. You better go, mas. I don't want Amira to think that I still feel the same way about you. After all, anyone does not deserve to visit other people's homes at night this time," Wita refused firmly.
"Please, Wita. Justjust please. It's important," Andika said.
"What's important? Nothing is more important to me than Kelan's happiness for now. My focus is only on Kelan!" sahut Deswita firmly.
I don't know. Andika groaned softly there, feeling that she was currently completely desperate to face Amira and Wita at one time.
"Well, I'll go, only if you meet me for a moment, Wita. I promise, it won't be long" said Andika.
Inside the house, Wita immediately rushed to Kelan in his room. For a long time he did not know Andika, but also did not turn off the phone.
After seeing Kelan for a moment who fell asleep, Wita then closed the door to Kelan's room, and immediately peeked at the outside of the window. Andika sat in a chair close to the door, as if to be the loyal guard of the house of Wita.
Once again, Wita exhaled her coarse breath. If not, this is how Andika. The man was stubborn like a stone head. In the end, there was no other choice for Deswita to open the door. She was not a heartless woman, and allowed Andika to get cold.
Deswita is defeated by humanity.
"Mas, why are you here? The night is late, but you are still here and stubbornly want to meet," said Deswita, opening the door wide for Andika.
"I told you, you don't have to come here if it's too late. I don't like the way you see you. What do you really want?"
Deswita sat on the living room sofa, followed by Andika who was sitting on the sofa near the door.
"There's something I want to talk about" Andika said, ignoring Wita's flat face.
"What?" ask Wita, waiting for Andika to talk directly without further ado.
"Amira's been away from home for a few days now" Andika said.
"I know," replied Wita briefly. The woman looked unconcerned, however, it made Andika narrow her eyes.
"You knew? Amira hastened to call you again?" ask Andika later.
"I think about it, Wita, trying to accept Amira well. But in fact, your position is irreplaceable in my heart, nor at home. I know my mistakes are unforgivable, Wita. I've hurt your heart. But I cannot if I have to turn my heart away from you. I . . . I love you too much" Andika later said.
"Please answer honestly, Wita. You, have you completely lost love for me?" asked Andika, making Wita speechless.
Deswita doesn't know what to say. But clearly, the woman was confused in her heart, admitting that love is still too great for Andika, is a stupid way to make Andika not feel deterred.
But if Deswita denies it, Andika will still not go.
Amira, pity the young lady. Although Amira did not have a heart at the beginning, but it seems Amira has changed. Wita could see clearly, how the trace of regret shimmered from the look of Amira's eyes.
Wita just wants the best for everyone, no matter how she feels.
"Honestly, I still love you, mas. But ever since you betrayed me, I have felt that all my love was in vain" replied Deswita.
"Nothing is in vain. We are both destined to have the same great love. I just met Amira. He and I decided to end this marriage after his son was born, and I want us to get back together" Andika said.
"Where is your brain? After all the betrayal you committed, also after all the injuries you gave, you want us to be together?" deswita asked inexhaustibly. Lucky Kelan is asleep. Otherwise, where would Wita dare to curse others? Kelan can imitate it at any time.
"Why not?" andika asked, while issuing several pieces of cctv proof documents, a recording, and also proof of transfer of some money from the account on behalf of Amira, to someone to conduct a transaction of aphrodisiac drugs.
"Look at this, this is evidence of the night's entrapment."
Deswita stared at the nanar all lines sentence by sentence, the photo that led to Amira's cheating all along.
"So, you're really a victim, and . . . You're in a trap?" amira asked in a soft voice.
After Wita found out about Andika's affair, her ex-husband, Wita thought that indeed Andika did it deliberately to produce children for the relationship that night.
But in fact, it's all wrong.
"You know, Wita. I have loved you for a long time. No matter how much hurt you feel because of me, because of me that night, I swear to God, it is against my will. Can't you imagine how miserable I was then?" asked Andika with a sick tone.
Papa Kelan then leaned his head and shoulders on the back of the sofa, staring at the ceiling of the room to remember everything.
"Whenever you refuse to return to me, I will insist. I've loved you my whole life. Amira was a mistake. Let's go back and forgive me. After Amira's child is born, the child is my child or not, I will still pay for the child as appropriate as possible, because he was born when Amira status as my child," added Andika.
Deswita did not know why her heart was beginning to wobble. Could it be, that love is still as big as it used to be for Andika?
Andika, men are really good men.
"But sorry, mas. I still can't for now" replied Wita.
