Chapter 27 ~ Live Happily

Edric did not answer, he stopped the car and removed the seatbelt and leaned his body towards Alice who was still sculpting.

Edric blew on Alice's hair that was still down trying to remove the seatbelt that was suddenly jammed. Feeling a warm wind gently sweeping through her hair she looked up and was immediately startled, "Gosh."

But he was fixated, seeing the face of Edric who approached he did not know what to do. For some reason when facing this man, all of his head seemed to be empty. Finally he reflexively closed both of his neutrals and fell silent with a tense face.

A very funny reaction for Edric, he immediately grabbed his phone and took a picture of this funny face. Then smile very brightly. Then help remove the girl's seatbelt.

The boy knelt down, trying to give understanding to the little girl.

"Sister promised to come back to get you... Here, keep this good!" said the boy while giving the necklace he was wearing, a necklace with a moon pendant and stars that are specially designed just for him.

"They're there, chase!" a man shouted then a group of people started to point at them.

The two children ran back, long enough that the little girl was no longer strong and fell down, making her hand grip instantly slip.

"Lala, let's get up!" said the boy while helping the little girl to get up.

"Lala's tired, sister."

From a distance, the people were monitoring. One of them pulled out a gun and pointed it at the two children.

DORR

The sound of the gun echoed, making the little girl's body tremble. "Sister," she softly looked at the boy who was holding her tightly.

"Go!"

"No way."

"Go Lala!" said the boy stammered.

"No way," the little girl chuckled with tears that had broken.

"Go or brother won't want to see you again."

"But Brother."

The boy pushed the body of the little girl. Because of the threat of his Big Brother Lio, Finally the little girl got up but was still reluctant to run.

"Lala, live happily!"

"SISTER LIO." Alice woke up from her dream.

Her eyes feel puffy, maybe crying too much in a dream to get carried away to the real world.

"Sister Lio...."
