Chapter 5 ~ Weird Smile

Days pass.

Alice and Lucy are on the campus. The tall building looked majestic in their eyes.

'Well, this is even more luxurious than my old campus, ' Ayla thought comparing Blue Light University to its real-world campus.

"Miss, come on in!" invite Lucy to invite Alice to walk in front of him.

"Lucy, how many times have I told you? If you're on campus, just call me by my name. Here now there is no difference in position, we are equally equal as students."

'Ck, I'm not sure you're the antagonist. Though your treatment of Olivia was cruel. But why are you so scared?' alice grumbled in her heart, not daring to hold Lucy's hand anymore because both hands were shaking violently.

Since being yelled at by her daddy, Alice's body was often shaking when there was an incident that had to test her guts. And this made things a little harder for Ayla. As of now, he had to run away so as not to show his fear.

In his hurry, he hit a man. "I'm sorry" said Alice then.

The man frowned. "Is this a new trick again?" he muttered with a cynical smile unconcerned, then continued his steps without turning his head.

"Alice," cried Lucy when she could not match her employer's steps.

Aldric stopped, then looked at Lucy sharply. "How dare you call him a name?"

"Lord Aldric. I'm sorry, but the lady herself asked me to call her name while on campus."

"You should be aware of your position! Whether it's in the mansion or on campus, you have to respect your employer!"

"Sorry, Sir."

"Here you go, there you follow him! I don't want him to cause any more trouble."

"Good, Sir."

"Miss." Lucy gasps when she catches the lady's arm.

"Miss, why is the road so fast?"

"Ck, you called me Miss again, Lucy. Looks like I'll have to call the driver to pick you up."

"Aldric?"

"good. Next time don't follow someone else's ridiculous orders!" Lucy was silent, not just losing her memory. Everything about the nona has changed a lot. 'Didn't the lady feel that there were different feelings for Mr. Aldric?'

"Don't tell me you're looking for Miss Alice."

"Where there is, don't worry!" Malvin watched his boss's reddened face as if he was being caught off guard by it.

"The boss doesn't want to know why Miss Alice hasn't been in class yet?"

"No," replied Aldric.

"Really, boss?"

"I said no yes no."

"You ..."

"Again, Boss. I won't laugh anymore." Malvin raised both his hands when he saw Aldric's sharp gaze.

"But what really? Boss don't want to know where Miss Alice is?"

"If you want to say yes, just say it. Your mouth, I can't force you to shut up even if I don't want to hear, either" Aldric replied, looking indifferent, his attention turned to a book.

This time it was Malvin's face flushed. Not because of embarrassment, but because of holding back laughter for too long. Seeing the face of his boss who is jaim but curious, is really an entertainment in itself for him.

"Alright if the boss doesn't want to hear, then I don't have to throw my voice to say it either" Malvin said deliberately, believing that Aldric was waiting for him to speak.

The proof was that Aldric was looking at him sharply, although at a glance but it had proven that the man was curious.

"Boss really won't listen?"

"Ck, if you want to say yes just say it! You want my tongue cut so you can't talk anymore?"

"Miss Alice's already moved majors, boss. So it won't be class with us anymore."
