Falling in Love In An Overnight

Falling in Love In An Overnight
Chapter 37

Fred raised his eyebrows, and immediately picked up his mobile phone. He glanced at the screen, his face becoming serious.

"We're out, no problem".

"It was just a man who dared to be rash. You're gonna end it".

After he said a few words, he immediately hung up the phone. Diana who was beside him listened to these words and probably guessed something.

Fred was not ready. He had already thought of a bad plan before going into the room. People are also arranged.

Sure enough, he thought everything was too simple.

Fred kept the phone, and unintentionally looked at Diana who was beside him, with a serious expression then said casually, "This land, we can almost win".

Diana raised her head doubtfully and looked at her, "How?"

Even though Ryan lost the previous game, he was clearly a bastard, he definitely would not do what he said, and now if he saw from his nature would definitely not easily let go of them.

Fred leaned back in his chair and replied as he pleased, "the reason why this land continues to be pressured is because his uncle Ryan is the deputy mayor and now he's making a mess with me personally, not admitting wrong, not admitting wrong, not that his uncle didn't admit defeat".

Diana did not understand, when she turned around, she found that the car had arrived at the hotel door, but the question on her lips was not asked.

After the car stopped, Diana immediately got out of the car, she almost fell to the ground, luckily she was holding the car, so she did not fall.

As soon as he stood up straight, he turned around and saw Fred was staring at him. Diana took a deep breath, closed the expression on her face, and acted as if nothing had happened.

Fred did not stop paying attention, Fred walked towards the stairs, then Diana followed him while enduring the pain.

Fred had long legs and large strides, one step was the same as Diana's two steps, even if she accelerated her pace she still could not follow the man's footsteps.

Gritting his teeth, he hesitated as he continued to chase, and suddenly Fred stopped in front of the glass door at the entrance of the lobby.

Diana's feelings were racing and a little pleased.

Is he waiting for me?

Diana stepped forward, and upon approaching, she saw the man staring at his phone, and then it suddenly dawned on her that the man was not waiting for her.

The trace to the hypocrisy that was originally in his heart suddenly disappeared. Her feelings are empty, and she follows Fred who is through the lobby and riding the elevator.

They lived on the highest floor, there were only the two of them in the elevator, there was no sound at all, Diana looked at the elevator figures, her feelings became sad.

When he was in Ryan's room earlier, he still vividly remembered the scene where Fred was protecting him but after coming out, Fred instantly turned indifferent, this made it difficult to accept.

As she exits the elevator and passes through the door of her room, Diana takes off her jacket and returns it to Fred.

He lowered his gaze, withdrew his emotions, speaking in a respectful tone that made a distance between them.

Fred's eyebrows tightened, he looked at Diana who was slightly lowered and the clothes handed to him, he did not welcome the clothes.

Fred stepped forward, looked at his smooth forehead, thought for a moment then said coldly, "What's the matter?"

Diana lifted her head then looked at Fred, and pretended to be calm, "It's okay, Fred sir, I'll be back for a rest first".

Diana said, pushing her suit to Fred and turning to leave, but she was pulled away just as she was about to step up.

"Go to my room, accompany me to a glass, there's something I need to talk about".

Diana frowned, but eventually refused to speak. He hesitated for a moment and finally agreed.

As Fred enters his room, Diana sits on the sofa, watching Fred hang his suit.

Fred watched Diana's evasive eyes, quietly raised his lips then walked to the side of the cupboard, put on his short sleeves and went to the wine cabinet to pick up a bottle of wine.

He came in with a bottle and a glass then poured Diana half a glass, "low-fed wine, won't get drunk".

Diana grabbed to take it. She heard him say that and thinking about the drunkenness of the time, her cheeks were rather hot.

Fred sat down on the sofa opposite him, drank some wine and spoke casually, "If nothing unexpected happens, the deputy mayor of City B, namely Handoko, will meet us tomorrow, I'll tell you this time so you can get ready".

Diana, who heard Fred's words, couldn't help but ask, "Why?'

We just fought with Ryan today, Handoko is his uncle. Why can we ask to meet?

Fred gently shook the wine glass in his hand, "the events that happened today are simply too big. Handoko will know, who risked Ryan, and then he lost but did not want to admit it, if Handoko defended the land, the people who would clearly say that he was putting his nephew first. Although he loved his nephew, he would not risk his career, as long as there was an official letter and a report to the police was more than enough, he would definitely settle the matter".

Diana suddenly realizes it, no wonder Fred just said that Ryan is just a gutsless loser.

If so, if he had his uncle continue to press the ground secretly like before, it would have rendered the Pratama group helpless, but he was unable to take a step first, eventually he dropped the handle, and completely lost it to his flagship.

Ryan was akin to throwing his own uncle into a dilemma. That land, no matter if he wants to let go or not, today must remain in release.

Fred took a step back, and he was really tall. If she didn't explain, Diana probably wouldn't have understood the matter at all for two days and two nights.

Diana looked at Fred happily and said softly, "So we've won the land?"

Fred's eyes showed a smile, "Truly, everything's done".

"Great" said Diana, she looked at the man with bright eyes. The little face that had just been tangled with exhaustion suddenly turned cheerful after hearing Fred's words earlier.

Looking at the excited expression from Diana, Fred felt a little itchy.

Fred suddenly put his wine glass on the table and let out a "Dar!". Diana looked frightened with a stern expression as she looked at Fred.

Fred got up without looking at Diana, across the coffee table, he leaned over, stretched out his hands, grabbed Diana's head and kissed Diana's forehead.

Diana's mind was now empty, her entire body was frozen, she just sat up straight and did not dare to move at all.
