Those cold dark black eyes stared at Kirana's warm beautiful eyes inside,

I kept staring at Annan! my new boss. He's taller than me, I should probably start wearing high heels from now on if I want to go head-to-head with him.

"Kirana why don't you go and pick up your things and move to Annan's room," said the Director turning my gaze away from her gaze, I blushed. I shouldn't have looked at him.

"Yes, of course, I'll do it now" I said shyly. I turned around and hurriedly left the office to pick up my belongings and tell Citra the news.

Annan sees his new assistant Kirana coming out of the room, making Annan grin.

"Then, I'll leave right now" Annan said as he turned around and walked to the door. Just as he touched the doorknob, Annan remembered something, and,

"Oh and Harima I asked for help" he said, turning his back on him.

"Yes, Annan" Harima said, making Annan turn to look back at the woman's face

"Don't ever call me your son again or I'll kill you" Annan said. Annan's eyes were still staring straight at Harima's unwavering eyes. Harima trembled slightly in fear, Although trying to be calm but Annan knew if the woman was scared. After a while passed, Harima's fear turned into anger

He stood up and slammed his hands on his desk.

"Damn! What's wrong with you!? I'm married to your father, so automatically you're now a-"

"Married to my father?" annan cut Harima's words and started laughing.

"Don't flatter yourself, it's just a piece of paper and you don't even have the Winata Name as your last name Harima" he said coldly.

Harima looks like a child caught doing something he shouldn't have done.

"I That's because..."

"That's because he didn't want the world to know he was married to a prostitute" Annan said sharply as he glared at her.

Harima looks defeated, he looks down at his desk. But Annan's not done yet, though,

"Why do you think he never introduced you to any of his friends or invited you to a dinner party? it's all because he doesn't want people to know he's married to you!"

Wounded was the feeling Harima and Annan could see on his face. Like someone had stabbed him and turned the blade into a full circle. Annan turned around and walked out of Harima's room without feeling any guilt. Annan went into his room and saw that Kirana was already there.

Kirana looked up as she was arranging her desk when she heard someone enter.

"Hello Mr. Annan, welcome back" he said warmly. Annan was surprised but he did not show it, Annan gave him a Flat face

"you're done so fast" Annan said as he moved to his desk and began to sit down.

Kirana was also sitting at her desk,

"Yes, I don't have a lot of stuff so it doesn't take me long to get a few" he said and continued to arrange the paper.

"Well, then let's get to work!"

"Yes, Alright" Kirana said in agreement with Annan's words. Just as Annan was about to start his work, it suddenly sounded

Ding

Annan turned around and saw the voice coming from Kirana's phone. As soon as he checked, Annan saw Kirana's shoulder slumped in disappointment.

"Is something wrong?" Annan said unconsciously.

"this is my husband, he said he'd be late again today and I'm a little sad" he said

"What's your husband's job?" he asks. Sipping coffee, though,

"He's a candidate for President of his father's company" he said. Then he looked at Annan and smiled, and,

"Like you,"

Isn't that interesting? President Director,

"Who's his last name? I might know who he is" he said, wanting to know more.

"His last name is Son" he told me. Annan instantly knew who he was talking about, he was shocked

"Son? What's law firm number 1?" annan asked in shock.

Kirana just smiled, though,

"You can say that!," said Kirana casually.

"Why does the wife of the Director of the law firm number 1 work for the worst law firm?" Annan asked now he was really curious.

“I once offered to be my husband's assistant, but he said he already had,”. Hmmm, why doesn't he want his wife to be his assistant? Even if he already had an assistant, he could still give him another job in that company.

"Let's get off this topic and get to work" Annan said,

it's none of my business, is it!?

"Yes right," Kirana agreed and smiled. Annan stared at his smile, a warm and innocent smile, almost reminding Annan of his mother's smile. Annan stopped him before he realized that he was staring at him.The two of them began to work in a peaceful silence.

Kirana looked at the clock and said 06:30 Is it already night? he better get home. Kirana kept the documents she was working on and saw Annan, he was immersed in his work, his desk was full of papers and books.

Kirana adjusts the grocery bag in her hand.she hopes Adit likes grilled meat for dinner. Kirana kept walking home looking at the shop window. Something caught his attention, he stopped at one of the storefronts. It was a necklace, but what caught his attention was a pretty pink flower pendant.

Suddenly an employee took the necklace. Kirana thinks maybe someone bought it. Oh well, he hopes whoever the owner is now appreciating it's a pretty necklace. As Kirana was about to continue walking, she heard something

"Austenance!" Kirana turned around and saw Annan running towards her

Annan saw Kirana walking so he called out to her and started running towards her. As Annan chased after her, he could see a shocked expression on her face.

"You forgot your phone" Annan told her he was trying to catch his breath. Annan handed it back. Kirana took it.
