8. I'M SCARED

Until now, alika is still afraid if tajudin asks for his right to alika. Tajudin was very patient with the child-like attitude of alika. At night at eleven o'clock the atmosphere at the tajudin house was like a tomb without sound. In the village, all the average residents have slept at eight o'clock at night. "How do I peel it well?" Alika thought while looking for a tool to cut her cassava.

Alika sat on a short chair that seemed as if she was squatting. He kept looking for tools to make the cassava mature. But the tajudin who turned his body to face the place where alika used to sleep did not see his wife beside him. Panicked Tajudin immediately went to find his wife behind his house. Tajudin knew very well that Alika had not dared to go to the bathroom alone in the middle of the night. Tajudin came out with wide strides looking for alika. But he was relieved when he saw Alika was choosing cassava in front of him.

"alika. What are you doing there?" Tanya Tajudin who saw alika just flip the cassava back in her hand.

"I'm so hungry. I want to cook it to maturity. But I don't know how to peel it!" Reply alika with a sad tone to hold the hunger.

"Hmm why didn't you wake me up?" Tajudin asked who was already crouching beside alika.

"I don't want to upset you in the middle of the night!" Sahut alika is honest because tajudin is always angry if he asks for help.

"Let me peel it!" Said Tajudin who did not have the heart to see alika resist hunger.

Tajudin finally took a knife to peel the cassava in front of Alika. Alika saw the way tajudin peeling cassava easily only once peeled cassava already free from the skin. Alika continues to pay attention to the way tajudin peels cassava so that if she is hungry she can do it herself.

"Want to cook like what you want?" Ask tajudin who doesn't know alika's taste.

"You want me to boil it with salt and then I fry it to maturity!" Answer the alika which he thinks cassava will be good if cooked like that.

"Hmm yeah wait. Just stay there, don't go anywhere!" Tell tajudin so that alika does not bother him.

Tajudin went to wash the cassava and cut the dice and returned to the kitchen. Tajudin looking for fuel to ignite. Alika who saw tajudin pacing back and forth to be able to turn on her legs as if impatient.

"Why not just use the stove? Just checklek and light the fire!" Said alika who could not wait to see tajudin cooking her cassava.

"You're silent! Don't talk too much!" Tajudin replied annoyed at hearing alika who spoke a lot.

"Hmm can't really. If spoken to, don't use emotion?" peekik alika who was upset at her husband who was always angry.

Tajudin did not answer alika's remarks. He was just quietly busy lighting the fire and filling the water to boil his cassava. After struggling with what was done by the two of them finally cassava was ripe. Because it was too hungry, Alika just grabbed the cassava while it was still hot.

"Aauuww hot!" Say alika while releasing cassava in her hand that feels very hot.

"Hmm patient. The cassava just ripened!" Said Tajudin who wanted to laugh but was held back fearing someone would wake up.

Alika did not listen to the words of tajudin because it was already very night. Alika finally took a fork so that she could stab her cassava easily so that she could quickly eat. Tajudin took her to the living room and turned on the television to let her eat cassava casually. Alika ate cassava voraciously even though it was still hot. Tajudin was surprised when he saw the cassava was not left when he would eat it again.

"alika. Where's the cassava?" Tajudin asked as he lifted his plate and clingukan looked for cassava.

Tajudin shook his head. Can't believe his wife can be that greedy if she's hungry. Alika only eats once a day if everything has gone to the rice field and only herself alone. Alika who never saw a side dish at the table ate herself always stole chicken eggs that were cornered behind the side door of the house tajudin. Many chickens lay their eggs at the tajudin house. Sometimes alika took the egg to cook so that she could eat rice every morning. Alika never told her household problems to ema. Alika does not want to see her mother sad if she hears that she is not being treated well by her husband's family. Alika who was full finally yawned without shame in front of tajudin.

"I want to sleep again!" Said alika who did not care about the tajudin who had accompanied her to eat.

"You don't care about me making food for you?" Upset tajudin who saw alika immediately stood up and would step into his room.

"Hmm then what should I do? Carrying you till the room is what you mean?" Alika who does not know what to do.

Tajudin who was anxious finally carried alika to the room and made alika scream in the middle of the night. Dariyah whose room beside the tajudin was shocked when she heard the sound of screaming in her home.

"Down me! Don't be like this!" Alika who is uncomfortable when tajudin do that.

Tajudin directly slammed alika on the mattress until alika lay on his back. Tajudin has been too patient to resist his desires for two weeks. Tajudin directly overlapped alika's body on it. Alika who got such treatment covered her chest with both of her hands. For fear that the tajudin will pull his clothes like that night.

"What do you want?" Alika asked with a trembling tone holding back fear.

"I can't stand Alika. I beg you not to refuse if you don't want me to slap you!" Tajudin said with a heavy and hoarse voice that could not stand what he felt.

"Act..Emp.." Alika could not speak because her lips were first silenced by the tajudin who kissed her greedily.

Alika could not do anything when tajudin locked his hands under the body of alika. Alika couldn't resist what her husband did. Tajudin took off his lips with alika because he saw alika had difficulty breathing.

"Don't be like this. I beg!" Alika said with teary eyes.

"Why do you always reject alika?" Tajudin asked with my eyes and a heavy voice.

"I'm scared!" Sahut alika who is still afraid to do it.

"What are you afraid of?" Say tajudin who is still with the position of overlapping alika.

"I don't know. I just feel so scared!" Reveal alika with a clear tone.

Tajudin finally turned to lay himself down beside Alika. Tajudin did not want to force the condition of alika which is still not ready. Alika could not bear to see the tajudin who had been too patient to hold her. Alika could not help her greater fear.
