Morning at Kristoff's mansion after breakfast and deliver Angel's departure.
The entire family sat in the living room, not least Kristal also sat with them.
"What's Dad collecting us all?" Tanya Vani opened the conversation.
"You know, I'm getting old and not fast enough to run the company. I'm rounding you up because I'm stepping down from the CEO position." Obviously Grandpa Kristoff is slow.
"Pension? Who owns the family company. There's no way Vani, because Vani has to accompany her husband." Stevani said with a worried face.
"Daniel's. Daniel's going to continue Dad's company, so I'm calling you Stevani. Accompany your bangs so he can run this company." Grandpa Krostoff replied seriously.
There was an understatement of laughter from Eve's lips, "Dad, aren't you wrong? Daniel was sick and Eve was sure he would not be long. How can I ask Daniel to assume the highest position in the company, Stevan should replace Dad not Daniel or Stevani." Cut Eve into those talks.
Crystal was eager to tear the mouth that prayed for her son to die, but Gabriel was resistant.
Not only Crystal, all the people in the room were furious with Eve's words to Daniel.
"Do you want your husband to be CEO?" Grandpa Kristoff asked Eve with a face that was hard to decipher.
"Of course Dad, Eve's husband is the only child who deserves to replace Dad." Eve answered with high confidence.
"How's Stevan? Are you replacing Dad?" Grandpa Kristoff asked the son.
Stevan has not said a word since.
"Darling, would you like to?" Ask Eve spoiled.
Stevan jerks roughly at Eve's hand holding her arm, Eve grunts resentfully since Stevan yelled at her they slept in a different room.
Vani who saw his sister laughed loudly, "I think my sister started to realize, how this is." Stevani said in a mocking tone.
Eve is upset with a woman who is the same age as her husband but still beautiful.
"Stevan doesn't want that job, Dad, it's up to you to give it to who." Stevan replied, staring at Gabriep sitting in front of him.
"Darling! don't tell me you're thinking, all this time I've been silent always following your will but not for now." Eve yelled at Stevan the husband.
"What if Eve leads the company?" Vani's proposal to everyone.
"Me?" Show Eve to herself.
Vani just raised both eyebrows in response.
"Can I?" Ask Eve who is happy.
"Of course, how's Dad?" Stevani asked his father.
"How's Daniel?" Ask Grandpa Kristoff.
Gabriel simply raised his shoulders without saying anything, but in his heart Gabriel laughed loudly.
"Gumcha!" Gabriel cried in his heart.
"Well, since there's nothing more, then the CEO's position will be given to Eve as Stevan's wife." Grandpa Krostoff.
"When are you going to announce it?" Ask Eve enthusiastically.
"After Daniel and Minzy's engagement." Answer Grandpa Kristoff.
"Hows it? before the engagement, the next morning we'll have a meeting of all the shareholders of Kristoff's company." Grandpa Krostoff said again.
"All right, Dad." Answer Eve.
"I'll be CEO and Dad won't be able to manage me anymore. It's up to him if his son marries Daniel, Daniel won't get anything in the company." Eve said in her heart.
At the Kim family's residence, there was a dispute between Chairman Kim and Mrs Kim.
"Father will still cancel Minzy's engagement to Daniel." Speaker Kim.
"Can't! They have to carry out the engagement." Reject Mrs Kim firmly.
"It's up to Mama, who obviously didn't agree with their engagement!" Resolute Chairman Kim.
"Why did you refuse him? Are they less rich? Let Minzy be happy with her choice." Mrs Kim.
"Well, Daniel won't be able to take the CEO's seat at Kristoff's company. Minzy's going to mate with a co-worker's son Daddy's no objection." Replied Chairman Kim who walked away from Mrs Kim.
Lady Kim smiled cynically but her tears could not lie to her feelings.
"Did you forget where you came from? You are just a poor man without any possessions when you enter my family. Then now, you seem to be the most powerful here?" Mrs Kim said sarcastically.
Chairman Kim's steps came to a halt, his face flushed red upon hearing the humiliation of his wife.
"You're talking about the past?" Chairman Kim asked coldly.
Chairman Kim again walked closer to his wife and slender grabbed Madam Kim's hair rough and tight so as to make Mrs Kim raise her head back.
"Listen, even now I can kick you and Minzy out of this mansion. If it wasn't for my hard work you'd only be living on the bridge. So never bring up the past, because now it's different you don't have anything." Chairman Kim said by pushing Madam Kim's head so that he walked forward a few steps so as not to fall.
Chairman Kim immediately breezed away leaving Mrs Kim alone in her study, while Minzy who heard the quarrel immediately ran to the room with her mouth shut.
Minzy looks slumped behind the door of her room that has been locked, her tears shed wet her cheeks. His heart felt tight and sick to see the behavior of the father who was still rude to his mother.
This was not the first time Minzy had seen her father being rude, but it had been many times. Whether made of what the heart of the Mother who was patient received blows and harsh words from her father.
Minzy was intrigued by hiding her wakah on both of her bent legs.
While Mrs Kim was still quietly standing in her place, her tears poured down her face that was no longer young.
If only her body and heart had been hurt for years by her husband, it was fine.
But, everything changed. When I received a phone call from Eve that night calling her husband Dad.
At first Mrs Kim thought that Eve was a sugar baby from her husband, but the more painful reality must be accepted by Mrs Kim.
Eve is the biological child of her husband from another woman, the woman has long since died and Eve comes to Chairman Kim carrying DNA evidence.
Mrs Kim's heart is broken, broken not left. Even the fairytale world he had built instantly shattered in a split second, In his heart cursing Chairman Kim.
Right now the most important thing is Minzy's happiness. Minzy must get protection from Kristoff's family other than herself.
"I must be stronger and cruel, so that the two humans can't step on me." Said Mrs Kim with sharp eyes.
Madam Kim immediately wiped her tears violently, looking around Chairman Kim's study. Lady Kim remembered the Han family's treasure.
"Surely the letter is in this room." Mumbled Mrs Kim.
