Chapter 17: Expressions of Feelings

Nesya opens a new page with a new story of her life. He no longer wanted to be the one to be too hasty in making decisions.

Qenzo was waiting for him in front of the house. They will go together to school.

"Tumben today you didn't ride the bike" said Nesya surprised to see Qenzo take the car today.

"Om Ednan lent it to me, I can wear it whenever I want" Qenzo replied.

"Wah Om Ednan really loves you" replied Nesya jealous.

"We left first Aunt" said Qenzo pamit to Isabel.

"Yes, be careful, dear" replied Isabel.

Nesya got into the car and smiled happily. He is getting closer to Qenzo. Especially after he found out that Qenzo secretly liked him.

"Later home from school we stop by somewhere first" said Qenzo.

"Where are we going?" ask Nesya.

"Some, you'll see" Qenzo replied again.

They arrived at the school twenty minutes later. Qenzo and Nesya walked together towards their class. They must focus because it will soon be tammat from SMA.

"You guys came together?" ask Jack.

"Of course I saw them together in the parking lot" said Lily who had just arrived.

"You guys are already?" ask Lydia Nesya's best friend.

"You guys are there, we're just friends" replied Nesya who then sat in her chair.

"Thank God then" Lily replied in relief.

Jack is jealous to see his dream woman come with another man. Especially Qenzo who was once favored by Nesya. Jack has also liked Nesya since they were in tenth grade just like Qenzo.

Jack is a cool guy and doesn't talk much. He also did not interact intensely enough with the child in class. Therefore he is very stiff in dealing with women.

During the break Jack calls Nesya to tell him something. He was afraid Qenzo would get ahead of him. He did not want to lose the Nesya he so desperately wanted.

"What are you talking about?" ask Nesya.

"We're talking outside" Jack replied.

Nesya nodded and followed Jack who was out of the classroom. Qenzo who saw it became curious and followed the two.

"Nes I want to say something now" said Jack to gather his courage.

"What do you want to say, Jack?" ask Nesya curiously.

"From the time when we were first grade I liked you Nes, even though I was stiff and boring, I would promise to always make you smile" Jack said with all his courage.

"Jack you're not kidding anymore, you know I like Qenzo" Nesya said nervously.

"I know, but I also don't want to miss the opportunity to express my love for you" Nesya replied.

"It's okay, I'll be waiting for you, if you change your mind tell me right away" Jack smiled.

"Thank you Jack" replied Nesya.

"Thank you for what?" ask Jack again.

"Thank you for waiting and not forcing me, I hope you find a good woman who suits you" Nesya smiled.

"Let time answer Nes, then I go to the cafeteria first" Jack said.

"Yes Jack" replied Nesya who moved back to class.

Seeing that the conversation was over, Qenzo who had eavesdropped immediately returned to his seat. He was completely shocked at Jack's confession today. Though Qenzo had made a reservation at the restaurant and used Om Ednan's car to prepare his love statement.

Qenzo wants to express his feelings today after school. He had even prepared a gift for Nesya.

"Is it possible that I too will be rejected like Jack?" ask Qenzo to himself.

"Ah it's not important, I have to express my feelings today" Qenzo said.
