Chapter 21: The Beginning of Anxiety
Isabel and Ednan have reached the top and enjoyed the sunset this afternoon. The next night they had set up a tent to live in both. Isabel cooked ramyon for both to enjoy on a cold night.
"The smell is very good" said Ednan.
"Of course my cooking is always good" replied Isabel.
"Did Nesya dare sleep alone?" ask Ednan.
"Of course he's brave, he's a strong boy" Isabel said.
"I'm very happy that Nesya finally blessed us to get married" Ednan said as she gently stroked Isabel's hair.
"Of course he approved of it, you're a good man" Isabel smiled.
"You can praise me" replied Ednan.
"Nesya must know which good men are bad" Isabel smiled.
"He was very different from me at High School, I foolishly thought everyone was good" Isabel said, recalling the past.
"Bel forget all that, why do you still remember that?" ask Ednan.
"He's even breathing fresh air now, we don't know where he is and if he still has a grudge against us" Isabel said.
"Bel, you're safe, he's far abroad" Ednan said, trying to calm down.
"You sure? he could be back" Isabel said again.
"You've got me and Nesya, you can't be as scared as you used to be" Ednan said.
"Yes I know, I also really want to forget all this" said Isabel again.
"Let's enjoy this natural beauty without thinking about anything" said Ednan.
Ednan and Nesya ate ramyon together enjoying the sky with few stars. Ednan held Isabel's hand and then kissed the woman's forehead. Isabel leaned on Ednan's warm shoulder.
"I longed for our happy times" Ednan said.
"I am too" replied Isabel.
They hugged back and remembered their past. Ednan took his phone and took a picture with Isabel. After getting tired of seeing the stars they finally went into the tent and rested.
The next day Qenzo picked Nesya up at school. Ednan and Isabel have not yet returned home. Nesya and Qenzo were silent during the trip.
"Zo it feels like last night someone entered my house deh" said Nesya after a long silence.
"Ah is not possible, just your feelings only time" said Qenzo thinking positive.
"No Zo, I'm very sure" said Nesya.
"Is there something missing?" ask Qenzo.
"It feels like nothing, stuff" I'm on everyone's safe" said Nesya.
"But I didn't know that in Mama's room, because I didn't check there" continued Nesya again.
"You must have misheard, as soon as we were exhausted" Qenzo replied trying to calm down.
"Yes Zo, I hope so" replied Nesya.
Shortly after, they arrived at school. Fortunately the gates were not yet closed, they were almost too late.
"Let's go fast" said Qenzo holding Nesya's hand so he can run together.
Nesya and Qenzo ran towards the classroom. They learn as usual without any obstacles happening. During their break they go to the library and study together.
Meanwhile, Ednan and Isabel arrive home. Isabel wants to clean up first. He went into his room and wanted to take a bath in the bathroom in his room.
Hearing the cry Ednan immediately headed to where Isabel's voice came from. How surprised he was to find Isabel who had fallen in the bathroom.
"Why Bel?" ask Ednan.
"Thuuu see" said Isabel pointing towards the sink mirror with a trembling voice.
It looked like a horrible red lettering on the mirror. Like intentionally using red lipstick to look like dar*h.
"Who did this" Ednan said very angrily.
'Hi Isabel how are you, you must miss me' the contents of that horrible writing.
"Bel you don't panic, will find out what happened" Ednan said.
"That must be Yudha, he must be back" Isabel said stammered with fear.
"You don't fear there is a Bel" Ednan said, trying to resuscitate Isabel.
Ednan immediately contacted Helma and told the girl to come to the house to accompany Isabel. Hearing this, Helma immediately went to Isabel's house.
"Don't let Nesya know this" Isabel told the two.
"I don't want him to worry and be disappointed" Isabel said.
"Yes Bel we don't have to tell this to children, let them focus on learning" Helma said to calm Isabel.
"We must immediately report to the police on this case" Ednan said.
"We first see the front cctv of the house, if we directly contact the police it will cause a commotion" Helma said giving an opinion.
"I agree with Helma we check the cctv in this house first" replied Isabel.
They immediately headed to the security room and saw the cctv footage. A man wearing a black hat walks into the house at night. His face was not so visible, covered by a hat and mask.
"I'm sure he's the one, only him, Qenzo and Nesya were recorded last night" Helma said.
"I agree, I will check all the cctv areas here if anyone recorded this man's face" Ednan said.
"That's a good idea" replied Helma.
"Titip Isabel yes, you take good care of her" Ednan said before leaving.
"You take it easy I'll take care of Isabel, you just focus on finding the perpetrator" replied Helma as a martial arts woman.
Ednan immediately went to find out who the man was. He went to the nearest minimarket to check on the black-hated man. In addition, Ednan also visited several houses that have cctv residents.
"Sial is not there, where else do I have to find out this man in black hat" Ednan said.
Ednan immediately contacted his friend overseas to find out Yudha's current whereabouts. Ednan's friend was assigned to ascertain whether Yudha was still in Negera X.
"A week ago I checked he's still visible here" Ednan said.
"Try you check today, there is a strange thing appearing in Isabel's house" Ednan said.
"Well, I'll tell you again" replied the man.
Ednan went on to check for other cctvs that he might have missed. After a long search he stopped at a poster shop that happened to be close to the highway. The store was always passed if it wanted to go to Isabel's house.
"Excuse me sir may I see the cctv footage near the road Mr" Ednan said.
"What do you want to see?" ask the shop owner.
"I want to make sure the face of someone who entered without permission to our house sir" Ednan said, showing a photo of the man in the black hat.
"Yes you can see it" said the store owner was kind.
