Ch. 11 - Test

“OK, you all did well. Now your physical abilities are at the standard of professional players. However, you still have to remember that professional players must maintain their discipline. Hopefully in the future you will become the next football star.” Jorge said with a smile, he was satisfied with the results of the junior team's training for this one month.

“Good, thank you sir.” Answer the junior team players simultaneously.

“Alright, you can disperse for lunch in the cafeteria now and you have time to rest until 02:30 pm. And also remember you guys should have gathered at this place before 03:00 pm.” Tony said in a loud voice.

“Iya, sir.” Answer the junior team players simultaneously.

After that the players started to go back to the dressing room to rinse their bodies. Half an hour later after everyone had finished changing clothes, they walked to the cafeteria together.

“Hai, Ray. How can you get stronger quickly?” Joshua started opening his chat box.

“As I said, I have never received professional training before. So after receiving the correct training direction I felt my physique and technique improved a lot. Of course it was also because I ran all the training according to the existing requirements.” Raynaldi replied as he walked, of course he would not say that he had a system.

“You're sure you're not an alien or something?” Cuss Joshua casually.

Raynaldi and the others continued their conversation until entering the cafeteria. After arriving at the cafeteria they took their respective diet dishes. Joshua and Mark who were quite close to Raynaldi saw him pick up a hard-boiled egg, a chicken breast without salt, a small piece of beef steak, a, and mashed potatoes feel amazed ‘how can this guy eat this tasteless stuff?’

“Ray, did you really eat that thing?” Mark could not help himself asking.

“Damn it, how can a human live with that food?” Joshua is next to him.

“Quick spend your lunch, it takes at least 2 hours to digest it well. If later your stomach is clouded during the game, do not expect to enter the match squad this month!” Tony who entered the cafeteria immediately shouted as he saw the junior team children playing and laughing.

“Damn it, why did that guy get here so fast?” Grunts Joshua.

“Already, quickly finish your food. We can relax after this, I heard from the staff they added a new movie in the recreation room.” Raynaldi persuades Joshua to calm down.

“Really? That's great.” Joshua continued eating.

02:15 Afternoon, 28 June 2007, Leverkusen, Germany.

Raynaldi, Victor, Joshua, and Mark had just finished the movie they were watching. While the other junior players also completed their respective activities. Now they were in the recreation room to rest. Leverkusen SC arguably has complete facilities because in addition to fitness and training facilities they also have a good recreation area.

“Ray, this movie is really unpleasant.” Grunts Joshua.

“True, although the effect is good but the ending is too hanging. I know they intend to make a sequel to the film but this ending just makes it look less than satisfying.” Added Mark.

“Yeah, hasn't the entertainment industry always been like this? If you are not curious about the continuation, how will they make more money?” Raynaldi chuckles.

“Oke, just talk. Looks like we should return to the dressing room as soon as possible so as not to be late for training.” Raynaldi reminds them of time.

After tidying up the recreation room, the junior team members left for the training ground.

In training as usual, Tony Wener and Timo Mayer have stood in their respective places. Then the juniors lined up in front of them as usual.

“OK, according to the one I mentioned earlier. Assessment for today's afternoon will be a training match to familiarize yourself with your respective teammates.” Timo opened his voice.

“You should know that in the most important game is a team. So try to cooperate well with each other, because football is a game of eleven people instead of individual.” Timo.

After splitting the team in half, Tony began handing out vests according to their team colors to distinguish the red and black teams. Raynaldi also observed his team, and was mostly his teammate on the test team, only the goalkeeper and full-back were different from the previous ones.

“It looks like the division of this team also follows the characteristics of the players, the wingers and wing-backs in our team are players with good passing ability. While my team-mate is Basti who is high and has good header ability.” Raynaldi muttered in his heart.
