Football System: Classic Number 10
Episode 20: Before the Match

On Sunday, we will have a friendly match or a cool term that is sparring with our rival team since a long time ago, since this club has not even formed Sugar Crossed FC.

A little history of the club that will be our opponent later. Sugar Crossed FC was formed in 2024 because it was based on a very deep envy with the Cananga Mining team that was so successful that it won the I-League league.

For this reason they want to follow in the footsteps of the Cananga Mining that has been earlier than them all, and in the end the Sugar Crossed FC club was formed based on a sense of not wanting to lose with its own neighbors.

But just like football clubs in general, success can not be obtained instantly like turning the palm of the hand. Let alone to make a small club a big club, to cook instant noodles we have to go through several processes before eating them, even though the name is instant noodles.

Sugar Crossed FC are still struggling to follow in the footsteps of Cananga Mining to play in the I-League, they are still not even able to enter I-Youth in recent years. But it looks like their wait will be over because in this season their young team can finally get into I-Youth. As for their senior team, this season they managed promotion to I-League 2, aka their second caste league I-League.

Slowly but surely, Sugar Crossed FC began to be able to pursue their rivals Cananga Mining even though they still run around a little to chase it, but over time will certainly be overtaken. That's what they dream of every day.

In the end, I can't wait for tomorrow. Coach Dodi Surian has given me the opportunity and the opportunity to prove myself in the game tomorrow, I will play in the early minutes. Different from the usual Coach Giovanni who often played me when the beginning of the second half began, therefore I will take this opportunity to prove myself to Coach Dodi Surian or other staff if I really deserve to be in this place, even though I just played football.

For the team that will compete tomorrow, Coach Giovanni as Head Coach or head coach of the Cananga Mining team provides opportunities for players who still do not get a place in the I-Youth team, aliases who play in local leagues. In addition to the players in the local league, we the latest recruits are also included in the squad.

This match is also a reference for the coaching team to determine the squad for the season that will roll out soon. Although for us who are new recruits, we still can not play in the senior team who play in the I-League, because the age is still too young. But at least, we can still play in the semi-pro league that is I-Youth.

"You ready to give your best, man?" Zaki Iskandar asked me while practicing free kicks. In front of the goal there was Derry waiting for the ball to lead him.

"I'm very prepared, but there's a sense of nervousness as well" I replied while doing the same with Zaki. I caught a glimpse of Derry flying to pull over my kick earlier.

"Hey buddy! Your kick has been pretty good lately, I'm sure you'll score in tomorrow's game!" From the other end Derry yelled at me, and I just smiled looking at him, ignoring everything he said.

Then Axel followed what we were doing. The ball he kicked very hard and tight, but unfortunately did not lead to the goal in Derry's guard, but went into the middle of nowhere. "The wind was very strong today" he said as soon as he finished kicking, it seems that he did not want to be blamed for what he did to the ball so he finally blamed the wind.

Then Axel looked at the two of us with a sharp gaze that was as terrible as the gaze of coach Giovanni, we immediately turned our eyes to avoid Axel Raihan's genjutsu attack.

We continued to train that afternoon, until the training time was over we were still training because we were too excited to look forward to tomorrow's game. Until coach Dodi Surian could only shake his head, because whatever he told us, not a single word entered the ears of the four of us.

"Yes my brother knows. He said my mom would be home late"

"Yes bang, does Izal's brother know?"

"Yes you know there is a phone" either my answer is wrong or what, Keisha directly hit me on the shoulder with her upset face.

After dinner was ready, we also ate dinner this time only two people. My mother was not there because she had to work overtime, yes she had a shift to work overtime.

I saw Keisha so eagerly eating the tofu stir-fry and tomatoes I made earlier, yet her face still looked irritated that I had no idea what made her that way. I was not confused whether he liked the taste of my cooking, or Kei did not like it. I dare not ask because of her face earlier, if that was the case she was very similar to the Lioness.

Suddenly Keisha himself started the conversation. "Tomorrow big brother?" he said and I immediately agreed.

"Couldn't you come?" he said again and I almost choked on hearing his question this time.

"Kei said what?" I made sure once again that what I heard earlier was neither coincidental nor misheard.

Shamefully and bowed face Kei said his words earlier. "Kei can come with my brother?" Her face was red once I saw, though she had tried to cover it with her head down.

I laughed so much. "Of course Kei can come along, brother will be happy if Kei sees brother from the sidelines"

I thought I would get a loving hug from a sister, but it turns out I was thrown using a hand fan by my own sister Keisha. "Who wants to support my brother, Kei just wants to see people play ball" he said, then he just went to his room.

I just laughed in response to my little sister's behavior, I already fully understood how her nature was. He's a typical kid who can't be honest with his own feelings, and sometimes that's a little annoying but I never complain about his nature like this. I know very well that in Kei's little heart, he doesn't want to see me hurt or anything but he also wants to support me as a devoted brother.

Ah, I have to clean up these dishes first, then go to bed to welcome a sunny morning. The opportunity is in front of my eyes.
